Hi! My name is Angela and I am travelling all over Europe this summer. In this vlog, I take you along with me and my parents as we begin our 10-day mediterranean cruise on the Norwegian Star. We explored Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia, Kotor in Montenegro and Corfu in Greece. There will be many more travel vlogs to come so don't forget to like and subscribe!

Love this!! When you went to Split and Dubrovnik, it seems like you were able to just walk everywhere. Do you need to book an excursion or can you do DIY?

I didn’t book excursions for either place because everything is super walkable!

Thx for sharing! How would you rate Norwegian Cruise’s activities onboard, as well as at destinations? They have kid friendly activities?

They have so many activities onboard to choose from, but they get slightly repetitive because it is typically the same few performers everywhere. In terms of kid-friendly activities, I'm not too sure but I saw that they had a kid's play area and a few activities highlighted on the daily schedule. Not gonna lie, most people on the cruise were elderly and I didn't see too many children, but that could be because we went in May. Hope this helps!

Hi Great vlog !! Was your 10 day trip expensive, about how much money did you really need in between the boat/ all the stops like food drinks souvenirs?? Thanks

Hi there! The cruise itself wasn’t expensive at all because we got a really good deal with NCL. They had a buy two get one free deal at the time so we were able to take advantage of that. As for the stops, I would say we spent about $50 per person depending on the destination for food, drinks and activities. At some stops, we did book excursions (e.g. Rome, Pompei) and those can cost anywhere from $50-150 depending on the tour. Hope this helps!

I'm headed to Split and Dubrovnik for 9 days in spring. I can't wait Croatia, looks absolutely beautiful and easy to get around I think they just changed their currency to Euro in January 2023 like most of Europe.

We booked shore excursions in Naples, Rome and Florence through viator! At the other stops, we just explored on our own :)

Since this is much more of a mix of international travelers, is the food onboard still more Americanized like if you sailed ncl from New York or are the meals geared towards Mediterranean since that’s what you sail from?

Hi I just watched your video cos planning our cruise to Mediterranean too. Can suggest few ports you think better for elderly? We aim at food, see the culture and market etc.

I would definitely recommend Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia as awesome ports because the town is easily accessible and very walkable! There are also a lot of organized tours and excursions you can sign up for that will take you around in a car if that’s more convenient for you :)
