First Time On Track For Ducati Multistrada V4..!!

Hi Guys, and welcome back to the channel. The time has come for me to take my Ducati Multistrada V4S around my local track Doningtonpark. I’ve been looking forward to see if this big adventure bike can handle the track as well as my Ducati Streetfighter v4s.

Many thanks Rembo, I’ve just completed a Ducati only track day this week at Silverstone, lots of multistradas and pikes peak on track. Certainly pushing them way past my capabilities. (Video next week) I’m impressed with the versatility of these bikes. 👍

@@RemboUSMC I’ve been following your progress Rembo, I guess we have these difficult decisions to make. I change my mind like the British weather, but I always think if you don’t like it you can sell it and buy something else. At least the KTM won’t cost you a fortune tyres. 👍

Hello from Brazil 😳😁!! Have you ever thought about change the front wheel to 17” inches?? Do you know if it’s possible or there are any differences on geometries ?? Being even crazier Pirelli could offer Rosso 4 corsa 19” 😮 … great video & enjoy your ride brow 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi, welcome to the channel. It’s not possible on this bike to swap the wheel size but the pikes peak one has a 17” front and rear which turns a lot sharper. I riden that bike and it feels great but for me a normally ride road and trails so it wouldn’t be worth changing. The new Rs multistrada v4 would be a track ready. 👍🏍️💨💨

You be surprised these tall bikes are good on track.. Maybe have a 2nd camera behind the screen to stop all the wind noise..

I’ve literally just tried a wired mic with a wind sock on my Streetfighter at silverstone and it worked a treat. So hopefully future video improvements, I also saw some guys really ride these bike fast which surprised me, even with trail 2 tyres.

Great vlog, I noticed that Metzeler have now introduced 19 inch front on the M9RR so would fit the MS V4. I wander how you would get on with more track focused rubber?

Thanks big Al, I saw guys pushing much more than me this week as Silverstone and they mentioned the Metz tyres. Definitely would be interesting to test these out. Maybe for the next Ducati track day il take both bikes out. 🏍💨💨

Just got myself a gps booster which helps with bad signal, but using my phone app for timings

Have you checked your PSI after different road riding conditions, to establish a baseline

I’ve not, I’ve only gone with manufactured guild lines. I do need to take note a bit more, I’m still learning with the psi for the track on my Streetfighter v4 but not really experimented with road so much on the multistrada.

@@jsagaria many thanks for the comment, when I did the Silverstone track day there was guys pushing a lot harder on their Multistradas so I know the stock tyres can take a lot more. Il definitely be doing another track day on it next year. The only thing I would do is change the front pads for some better ones. 👍
