Thanks buddy 👊. Absolutely!!! It's definitely not a easy track to start on. The correct tires and set up is key. Practice practice practice. If you get fast here you will be fast everywhere. Looking forward to test these 6mik tires. The winter needs to be in the past. I'm already really tired of al this rain🙄
Thanks brother. I've never ran on astro with this much grip. Was fighting traction roll all the time. So hopefully these other tires are much better for this track. But still had a lot of fun running there. Running high grip tracks is very awesome. Appreciate you watching bro👊
Great track to run. The facility is very nice. 8th scale and 10th scale off road track and a onroad track. Looking forward to run there again...with the correct tires and setup. Thanks for watching buddy 👊
Very nice indeed it's always the way it takes a few practice laps before you can fly it I admire your skills driving it around it 🎉 . Love France been there myself a fair few times on holiday ( vacations 😜) 😊
Yes sir, very nice days. It takes some time to learn the track. And the correct tires would help aswell. Thank you very much for your kind words. France is a beautiful country. Appreciate you watching Fonzie 👊
That surface and track seem very demanding of a setup I have yet to put together. I would think something very bottom end and midrange orientated for engine and pipe setup would be ideal with soft springs w Aluminum heavy shoes and as far as chassis, I would think putting a good amount of body roll into the rig would help rotate the car around those types of corners...idk lol, Id be quite frustrated taking my current setup there. I'd be up at night until I found a setup that works. Thanks for the video brother
Yeah, definitely not easy. Specially with the wrong tires. I'm running 4 alu shoes with medium springs ( 0,9). I didn't have much body roll now because of the tires . Was fighting traction roll every day. Getting a good set up then is a prayer without an end lol. Hope next time with the 6mik dash i can achieve a nice set up. I already have it in my mind so looking forward to go back. Thanks for watching brother 👊
I didn't notice any difference. But then again , there was a week in between. Maybe run the engines back to back and see if i notice a difference. On this track i had the wrong tires and indeed focussing on the set up, but it's difficult to compensate wrong tires.
On most dry astro tracks i run Schumacher Ridge pin in front and Schumacher Mini pin in the rear. Both yellow compound. On a wet track the Schumacher Spiral silver compound. On this track the Schumacher tires had to much grip. Apparently the 6mik Dash work better, but i haven't tried those yet there.
I was struggling a lot with these tires and some parts of the track. But definitely had awesome days running there and hanging out with Tasty B. Thanks. Appreciate you watching. 👍Cheers mate👊
Tasty is a great guy and it’s awesome he helped you get access to the track. - The track seems big and technical but, you seem to run it well Thanks for the fun vid 🩷
Absolutely !!! In France you need a lisense even if you just practice on a track. In the Netherlands i can run every track without a lisense and with races in the Netherlands and Germany you pay 5 bucks for a weekend lisense. Very easy. Since i don't know any French, it would be almost mpossible to arrange a French lisense myself. Thanks bro. It's a pretty difficult track to run. Hopefully with the correct tires it's going better next time. Thanks for watching 👊
@@kings-racing Seems like it is very different everywhere. Tasty is going the extra mile to help you. That’s very nice of him - As you said, tire choice will help a lot. I’m excited to watch your journey with it all. Keep us updated
@@a2rcYeah, in France they are very strict. It has to do with the fact that you are insured on the track. Tasty is a great friend Tires is everything. Grip level on astro is very different from track to track. Thanks. Planning to run a lot of German races, couple in the Netherlands and some nice practice weekends in France. 👊
