First Time Playing World of Warcraft Classic - 2024 - My First Dungeon

In this episode of my first playthrough of World of Warcraft Classic, I finally take on my very first dungeon in World of Warcraft - The Deadmines!
The Deadmines is a level 18-23 dungeon located in the Alliance leveling zone of Westfall. The instance portal is situated deep within the Defias encampment of Moonbrook. For most Alliance players, The Deadmines will be the first dungeon they encounter in the game.
Join me on my journey into World of Warcraft Classic playthrough! After many recommendations, I've decided to dive into this iconic MMORPG. As a newcomer, I'm open to any hints and tips you have to offer.
World of Warcraft (WoW) is a beloved MMORPG released in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment, set in the Warcraft universe. It's been four years since the events of the previous game, and Azeroth awaits exploration!

My first ever dungeon! Thanks to those that came on to help me out! I had to turn the game sound down halfway through as I had trouble hearing everyone, but will sort out OBS for the next dungeon. Had a great time and can't thank you all enough. Sorry for the lack of commentary as I was too busy focused on listening to instructions :)

Yeah they're a pretty decent bunch over there on my Discord. A little crazy, but all have good intentions and hearts and love to help me out, which is great. On to the next region to see what awaits me! 😁

Yeah it was great. I was pretty busy and wiped by the time I saw that you had hopped on and done it with them. We'll sort something out I'm sure and be able to party up for something! Thanks for the support and mail! :)

ooh, this will be VERY hard on me hearing the voice chat, because I want to join in all the time with instructions , but this is a time machine and this all happened in the past . maybe for the better... you don't want my 'NOO target him first!!!' all the time :D I think this is the best learning experience, doing dungeons, you have to be focused and you learn to work as a team. You can see your targeting skill going up all the time

I was confused a lot by what my other party members were talking about tbh and all I pretty much understood was ... 'Okay Marc, sheep' lol Apart from poly-sheeping, I was pretty much just blazing fire at whatever moved hehe

Amazing video as always.. Make sure to target your targets with TAB key on the keyboard

Thanks. Wow, I don't think I ever pressed TAB once during all of that. I think it's because I was a little overwhelmed at times and I had to target specific enemies to poly. But yeah, I need to learn to press TAB more often! :) Glad you're still enjoying the vids 😊

@@zedexgamingchannel The lack of TAB targeting was the only real issue in there. It's really really hard to put your pointer on one specific moving pixel in a chaotic mob 😅

Was a lot of fun. I was a bit overwhelmed with what was going on and had to listen and poly and speak, but me being me, can only use one part of the brain at any one time. Than you so much and look forward to the next one! Guess I'm going for a swim.

Ninja’d those gloves lol….can set it to only show monster nameplates and not the blue friendly ones makes it much easier to target less clutter 👍

I'm so used to having loot be shared in the games that I used to play with groups - save for legendaries, which was random between members - but here it seems that if there's one item dropped, then only one person can take them. Took me a while to realise that that was what was going on, else, vacuumed the lot! :P And yes, I will need to do that with the nameplates then as there are a lot of 'above-head' bars for me to wade through to select the target I need to. Thank you. :)

Yo this video made so happy dunno why. It teletransported to the first DM i did when just having fun of that exact moment mattered. And not this lately min max parsing culture that is being popular nowadays. Great video man!

Really enjoy another great video from Marc the adventurer and now the dungeon runner 😃 So much fun running dungeons we people with good attitudes. Also made me smile seeing the photo at the end. We would do that at the beginning and end of our first run of each dungeon, brings back the memories. I am so happy for you Marc and company! 🎉 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you very much. Sorry about the sound issues I was having with this one. I'm so happy to have done it - was a couple of weeks in the making to get people together at times to suit all. Yeah, I really wanted to capture the moment at the end with a picture as a keepsake for me to remember my first ever dungeon. Must be nice to think back on your time in the game. Thank you my friend. Had a great time. Still have a lot to learn as I was a bit confused a lot of the time but managed to get through it - carried mostly hehehe but was fun all the same and look forward to the next. On to a new region soon! :)
