4MINUTE and 2ne1 honestly paved the way for the newer “bad girl” groups. I miss Jiyoon’s rapping and dancing so much.

I miss the combination of Gayoon and Jiyoon’s vocals so much 😭 Volume up was a favorite of mine for months after it was released. I think you would love their quirky Whatcha doin today MV. There’s so much going on in that MV its a bit crazy, silly and quirky

They were so popular yet so underrated.. 4minute deserved the world.

Gayoon is the forgotten treasure of kpop...she is hands down one of the very finest vocalists in Kpop..it will always hurt to see her not getting the recognition which she deserves

If you want to continue diving into 4Minute, they do have a couple of songs w/ MVs that are different from their normal stuff: 1. "Heart to Heart" - a cute concept 2. "Cold Rain" - a ballad 3. "24/7" - by a sub-unit, 2Yoon (because it was made up of Gayoon and Jiyoon), American country music, if you can believe it.

Crazy and Hate, along with Hot Issue and Huh are my favorites from them uwu I remember listening to them in the 2012, those were good times

Crazy is just one of those iconic songs in kpop that never age, it's been regularly in my rotation ever since it dropped and I'll never let it go

If you want more of a ballad-y style song from 4Minute, definitely go listen to Cold Rain! It was a pre-release single for the Crazy Mini Album, and its an absolutely phenomenal song!

I love so much is it poppin, it’s my fav song from 4minute. The whole vibe of the song, harmonies, melody and also the iconic rap of hyuna with her dance moves …I can’t. Just perfect

4 minute wasn't my ult group but gosh i really enjoyed most of their tittle tracks. I think some months ago on the forum people were asking which is their fav 4min tittle track and most agree on love tension (other fav were huh ) honestly, 4min has solid tittle tracks. everyone should check them

For me vocals are the essential element. So I prefer live performances to see their vocal skills in action. This goes for rapping as well. Thank you for a great reaction.

One thing I loved about 4Minute was that they had 3 strong rappers and that was pretty uncommon for that time during kpop

see i kinda miss the loud brassy edm drops in kpop. not saying that there was a lot and that there aren't "drops" now. however i do kinda miss that edgy "kick in your face" sound in kpop. though i wouldn't want it to be oversaturated, just a couple songs here and there so i can have a bopping workout playlist lol.

So glad to see your reaction! I did think that you'd prefer their Brave Bros. songs. They worked with him on two other songs: Whatcha Doin' Today and Only Gained Weight. Only gained weight wasn't a single, it was for Brave Bros 10th anniversary compilation album, but it became very popular with the korean public. Glad you enjoyed Volume Up. It's one of my favorites of all time. Most of 4minute's songs have been covered by other girl groups, but none have attempted Volume Up. I would love it if one did, but it is quite the vocal challenge.

btw back in the day brave bros produced bops and a half, you might want to check their songs compilation (I mean for all I know they might still be producing songs). One of kpop fans fav is love options by bestie. I think everybody and their mom love that song
