Beyblade X OP is the first time that a Beyblade OP doesn’t mention “Beyblade” and “let it rip/go shoot” in the lyrics and is done by a popular band, One Ok Rock (and they also done the credits theme for Sonic Frontiers). Personally, the X OP is my favorite so far.
You know the funny part about Kai being edgy? That face markings? Those aren't a part of his body, he actually draws those on. During a part, Kai "retires", and lives a normal school life. His hair is tied back and he doesn't have those face markings on. Hes just normal quiet school kid. So that means that, every time he goes out he puts on that outfit on purpose. That's his beyblade outfit. Everyone else just wears what they normally wears but Kai? Nah he's got *D R I P* _specifically_ for beyblading 44:05 I mean...in real life we have the WBO to help find and organize tournaments. And Beyblade has recently started hard targeting the older demographic by releasing new-gen versions of beyblades from the Bakuten Shoot era. So adults are legit being sold beyblades through nostalgia and...I'm one of them. I'm a grown-ass man but I'm getting increasingly into these cool spinning tops again.
44:34 nah, it's not spoilers. Aiger can just...sort of...DO that. From like the first episode of his season. Aiger is probably the only beyblade protag who you'd rather fight in the ring than in real life because he's just strong. He's a farm kid.
47:45 Not spoiling much but this season (sparking) is basically three kids accidentally discovering how to kaioken, and exploiting the everloving shit out of it. There's nuance, and without seeing the stuff leading up to it, there's not as much weight to what's happening. That's the gist of it.
@@cawcawTV2 I think @Adamareef was talking about the part when you said:"We gonna take this thing one step at a time"(are something like that) and the first line of Beyblade X op is literally "One step at a time" lol. I'm currently watching BBX and that part got me too
Do the endings too, those are great particularly the metal saga ones. And you’re right about the genius marketing of beyblade. Spinning tops have existed for thousands of years but in the late 90s Takao Aoki had the idea of making a series about them. It was so original and filled a gap in the market. Someone would have come up with Pokemon eventually. But beyblade was one of a kind. Every season they had a new gimmick which kept the interest. They had magnets and ENGINE GEAR powered spinning tops in 2002/2003 lmao that’s how crazy it was.
I watched all Beyblade seasons and the only thing I think Burst is better than Metal is the animation, other than that, Metal is the best Beyblade generation in terms of story and lore. By the way, unlike OG and Metal, the extraordinary scenes in the opening of Burst are not real, they are visual effects made for the opening.
It's because beyblade burst quadstrike is made by hasbro which is an English company not Japanese . Previous seasons made by Japanese. That's why they have their own openings.
If you think Kai was going through some crazy sh*t in the OG series just wait until you see Shu in the Burst series. BTW. His the guy with the white hair in the bigining of burst and he is literally dubed by the fans as the Saske of Beyblade Burst.
Shu Kurenai (The white haired person in Burst you compared to Kyoya) got that scar in his eye in the manga where he battles Lui Shirosagi (The guy with blue fire hair) and his bey gets sent out and grazes his face, putting a cut on his eye.
So in the second season of the og series/bakuten shoot beyblade (V-Force/2002), they changed the artstyle to match the manga better (and fun fact: the first season is actually animated by madhouse!) 🗿
20:23 Tiger not Lion Btw Rei and Kyouya are my favorite characters ^ ^ Rei my favorite :) Gonna buy Rei's Driger version of Beyblade X when it releases here in America
Why does Fighting Spirits sound like an FMA opening? The dragon guy is Tyson, the Madoka-guy is Chief, the blond Kenta is Max, the Kyoya-Ryuga guy is Kai, and the red-haired new kid just bugs me. I first saw in the Bakuten Shoot movie, and then appeared again in Season 3 as of they’ve never ever met before. Those types of tie-ins really annoy me, yanno? 12:20 Why does this have a Ranma 1/2 feel? 13:21 the catguy on the right here LITERALLY WENT ON TO PLAY KYOYA!!! Yeah, the yin-yang Chinese guy is called Rei/Ray, and that remote village has the origin of Beyblade. Yeah, Beyblade Explosion is Beyblade Metal Masters. 23:55 Kyoya goes to Africa, and this is Brazil where (manga-only scene) Ryuga one-shots the big guy in the middle to pay off some debt to Gingka. 24:07 DID GINGKA JUST FUCKING GROW WINGS-No, it was artistic license for symbolism. 25:23 THAT IS LITERALLY WHAT HAPPENS XD 28: 03 The Beyblade movie only exists in Japanese. YES WATCH SHOGUN STEEL!!! I FUCKING LOVE THAT SEASON 35:02 Yeah, that is Adult Benkei. It’s a 7-year timeskip between Fury and Zero-G. 37:16 The general on a horse is a Valkyrie 38:43 IT’S BEYXERCISE TIME! 40:21 That Guy has a bey like L-Drago 47:29 Hey, that’s where I am in Burst now!
Also fucking LOL. The QuadStrike video being hidden is perfect, because it's basically a non-canon season that released some of the most dogshit beyblades because Hasbro was in charge.
