i heard on this news my family gatherd round the tv 70 people died in that fire the fire fighters cried as they couldnt reach them their ladder truck was running late the ladders they had wernt tall enough the cladding on the buildings outside went up like a match many fire exits wouldnt open due to the building not being kept up to date
This was a beautiful tribute to a tragedy. This is so hard for me to watch, i moved out of a tower block 2 months prior to this and lived through 2 fires on my floor in my time there, its terrifying. Fire brigade instructed us to stay in our flat and all i could see was billowing smoke out the windows and no way out. When this happened i knew their terror and fear. RIP to everyone who passed and every family affected
