Beat is an influence from Haitian music called Kompa and hint of Gouyad. The reason why this song is so shocking is because usually Kompa is not mixed into mainstream french music. So this is really a special song and an example of transformation in her beats and song writing since the pandemic

wow, thank you for the information! yeah, I mostly see Lingala and Soukous (Congolese) influences in French music but it's great that artists are branching out and trying new genre fusions. I really like the quality of sound on this track which makes me really excited to see her future projects and the future of French music in general. 💓💓

Damso is a really great french rapper but he consider himself as an artist because he Can do much more than than just rapping. I recommend you to listen morose or rencontre ft diziz. You can also try to listen his latest album which is really great and diverse.

The beat is related to Zouk Music Style (from Martinique & Guadeloupe islands) not at all Kompa as I've read several times!

hello i'm french and i think there are multiple french song that you could like freeze rael from freeze corleone (drill with plot theme )or the album of damso QUALF infinity which actually the following of QUALF that album is better in my opinion with better song(with better vibe) or Laylow and it's album l'étrange histoire de monsieur anderson (laylow is actually quite complex to understand, his album is like a story with character )and if you like cool melody rap in franch there is hamza with life (
