DPR IAN YESSS MY KING!! His music and videos are so top tier. His storyline/lore is also so great! DPR IAN,real name is Christian yu Singer , producer, dancer and rapper . He is Australian and Korean . He has bipolar disorder and dissociative identity disorder.. He is truly exceptional and extraordinary. He is truly multi-talented . There are real tattoos .
I’m absolutely terrible at information giving but ill give a (hopefully) quick rundown of ian: DPR Ian is also known as Christian Yu, He is Korean-Australian Christian used to be in a Kpop boy group called C-Clown, he was the leader. They debuted in 2012 and disbanded in 2015. Christian created the company/music label DPR with another artist called DPR LIVE (and a few other founding members) DPR started out as a video production company but then branched out to being an actual music label. It’s pretty much a collective. so, anyone with the name DPR (ex: DPR IAN, DPR LIVE, DPR CREAM, etc) means they’re under that label. Christian has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) and Bipolar Disorder, so all of his music is based on that. He has two characters in his current storyline: Mr. Insanity and MITO. Mr. Insanity is based on his manic highs. MITO is his protector alter, I’m not going to go to into detail about that stuff bc I don’t want to give wrong info so hopefully someone will go into more depth. He also has a storyline that is pretty much fantasy but has personal aspects to it bc he struggles with his mental health. I definitely would recommend watching all of his MV’s from the beginning bc it really tells a great story and also shows us viewers how much stuff people with DID/Bipolar Disorder goes through. Ian edits and directs his own music videos (that is why in every video of his it says ‘DPR VISUALS +IAN’ backwards which means he is the artist but as well he edited and directed the MV) He also edits and directs other DPR members MVs and other artists MVs. The most popular MV he has directed and edited for is IU - Shopper (he also acts in the MV as well) This is pretty much the gist of it, im sure more people will explain more later haha.

DPR Ian! Please react to his music videos for Limbo and Don’t go Insane. (Don’t Go Insane is the sequel to Limbo. In his videos he plays 3 characters: Ian, MIITO (which is himself during his depressive episodes) and Mr. Insanity (himself during his manic episodes) it’s easy to tell which Ian is which. Some of his songs are all MIITO, some are all Mr. Insanity, and some have both. Mr. Insanity also has a sidekick called The Green.
