@@brittreacts Yeah she’s pretty popular already. Like she had a song go viral on TikTok a while ago and that’s where she’s seeing a surge in popularity from. Also doesn’t hurt that she’s BFFs with Lil Yachty and they were friends in high school AND he has a feature on her latest album lol
There is, and has been, a 're-birth', if you will, although I look at it as more of a 'it's here if you want it' kind of thing with regard to art. One only has to take a cursory glance at the numbers for a reaction video to a song like this to know the score. I stopped listening to commercial radio and following the pop charts a good 40 years ago and have never looked back. To just name female singer/songwriters and women fronting bands there is a hell of a lot of good stuff in recent decades; and the guys are doing pretty well too. I had only heard some stuff from Miss Webster's album following this, but I liked this too, I'm working my way to more. Nice upload.
