this one went straight up as one of my all time favorite covers from holo. what really impressed me was how the song manages to make all of the members shine both during their solo parts and in the duets so whoever was directing who is gonna sing what parts did an amazing job for this song.
This really is an amazing song! So happy that the Hoshimatic project didnt end with just the countdown stream and they made a cover! They all did amazing in this cover! -star
This cover suites pretty much all types of music. Small amounts of rock, good amount of rap, and almost entirely retro. Most of the high pitch’s I can see the members doing but for me the one member I didn’t believe was Matsuri. Subaru’s voice in this was also insane, she sounded like nothing we ever heard. I listened to this for the first time when it came out but ended up forgetting about it until just recently and now I have been listening to it almost everyday.
They all did amazingly! Suisei really made a powerful and talented group for the countdown stream and now for the cover! WOuld love to hear more from this group! -star
There was a Gigachad made MMD using their model and doing original dance for this song. That animation break my mind, imagine seeing Hoshimatic Project dancing in 3D with this song
2:15 Speaking of which, Sora just did an original song "Star, star, start" with the creator of Alien Alien and it's a bop. Not sure if you have seen the MV.
This was a welcome surprise as I though with New Year's, that was it. Glad to see that wasn't true. But the fact Suisei arranged this shows (group songs set up by the suits tend to have issues as they have no musical knowledge)
if hololive making a dating game simulator on steam/switch/ps/xbox i'm good for just random pick of the girls bcs they're all so good n charming so random picking will be good lmao
For me i have been in the Vocaloid rabbit hole for ages so i dont mind listening to vocaloid songs but i very much appreciate the "normal" type of singing from covers like these :) For ppl not used to listening to the original vocaloid, the songs can b quite hard to listen with the "mechanical" type singing and the high screeching voices. -stardestroyer (editor)
@@VeloCityExtra Yeah maybe it's an acquired taste that I have yet to acquire. I only ever heard a vocaloid song for the first time just a few months ago, when listening to the original version of one of these Hololive covers. I thought it was a one-off thing, but then it seemed like every original version of the Hololive covers I'd go listen to would have the same weird vocals. Only later did I find out the term was "vocaloid". Maybe I'll get used to it eventually.
Depends on song and voice bank, but Wowaka himself already covered this, and this is such a personal love letter to Miku that it feels in bad taste to be covered by such a wide cast at once.
