Kodi came back for a Champion's hour talent show and sang a song that he wrote himself for his mom. If you think this is a great performance, you HAVE TO react to that song. His own personal music is really his calling. It's amazing!

My two grandsons are on the spectrum. The 8-year old is pursuing hip hop dance and remembers long sequences of moves. The 13-year old does 11th grade math and programming. So yes! They all have their talents. Nice reaction!

He did have to overcome one thing: A lot of autistic people don’t like to be hugged, and I read that his mom had to teach him to be OK with that. Seeing him hug some of the judges was very special.

leon russell penned this tune. leon was instrumental in bringing the ”tulsa sound” to rock. leon also suffered from cerebral palsy and walked to beat of his own not heard by anyone else in this world. he was sooo important to the american songbook. i hope cody has a wonderful run with his music as well

I remember this audition, I was scared he wouldn't go far because of his blindness and autism; but he not only won the golden buzzer he went on to win the show and has been back on that show.

Autism is prevlat in society today my brother is autistic diagnosed back in the 70s when it was 1 in 6,400 with the affliction and now its 1in 64 and that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to birth defects in people but Codie is a pitch perfect singer that's his gift to the world.

I like how everybody thinks that Cody is just gonna sing a song for them when he says I’m gonna sing a song for you, he was actually telling them the title of the song he was gonna sing not the fact that he was gonna sing a song. I love that.

Oh i love kodi from the beginning..he does so amazing Performances and he is every time so confident in his singing...love all of them..MY TOP 3 OF HIM BIBLICal by callum scott Change original of him this year and my top 1 favorit also an original but this he wrote this song for his mom called "the journey of you and I" and that's a super heartfelt sweet song...i think i can say it he got in the semifinal a golden buzzer for that i never new you can get one that far..

This was awesome😊❤ I'm autistic as well and it is something that is life long from birth to death. But personally I see it as me being differently abled rather than having a disability. But yeah this was absolute fire. Not all but some autistic people (myself included) have a natural gift for music and lots of other stuff too. 😊

I had a distant cousin who was autistic, and when his baby brother was born, he was also labeled autistic. When the older brother went to a group home, younger brother turned out to be not autistic!

They don't show the really long wait that happened before he started singing but Simon said he was about to interrupt the audition because he felt bad for Kodi and didn't want to "embarrass" him any longer.

Kodi now plays at the AGT show in Planet Hollywood in Los Vegas. He has a contract for millions of dollars a year for as long as his contract is for.

Also as someone who has Aspergers or as they just called it ASD now (a form of autism) people have judged me, and treated me differently. And that honestly rips my heart out, like I'm just trying to be accepted instead of being singled out. So for a while, I didn't tell anyone about what I have, because of previous experiences. Like the things I fixate on are martial arts, and knife sharpening. I'm really good at those two things but sometimes finding people with those same interests is quite challenging.

Yes, he was blind from birth. Abd this performance tears me up every time I hear it. Autisum has been linked to exposure to cleaning agents. Autism was a fairly rare condition until the early 60's it has been on the rise and its increases can be correlated with the introduction of non organic household cleaning agents. The two greatest peoples in the medical community are House Wives and Fireman. It has repeatedly been dhown to have no connection to vaccinations.

I believe you are talking about Asperger Syndrome, which is q form of Autism that where there social skills are often underdeveloped they can have incredible talents and skills. If you watched the Good Doctor it is a good example. The beautiful thing is they don't lose their innocent outlook. It is amazing and beautiful. It is like God just wired them to excel in one thing, and they can master and it is their passion in life. He is incredible
