Have you heard the Iam Tongi Cover of Monsters by James Blunt. I lost my parents in 2021 . Since I'm the only kid or boy. My old man means the world to me. When he passed I was lost , but than my mom has been sick for over 5 years, so when he passed away she didn't want to hold on any longer and passed shortly after. Now there I was all alone. 😔 promising that I will be strong and hold on for my two babies. Because I recently was separated and now divorced. 2022 I had to find the strength to work. Because even tho I almost died and was hospitalized having 6 surgeries, lost both my parents I still had to pay Child Support. So Luther dance with my father. And now this song by Iam Tongi Monsters. Hits my Soul 👻

It sounded to me like he always had her words from their past stuck in his head haunting him. Kind of taunting him and reminding of his mistakes or things he did wrong. It sounded like he also reflected on it with some time passed.

Saw Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace open for Nickelback at a massive sold out arena show about 15 years ago. My wife won a pair of VIP tickets and dinner at a nearby restaurant off the radio and we were super stoked about seeing BB and TDG. They were awesome and sounded amazing but the show that NB put on, from the layout and extension of the stage with all it's moving parts to the set design and video backdrops to the pyro and the energy of the band and crowd, was absolutely mesmerizing.

NB puts on a phenomenal show. They cater each show to the location/locals. They’ll wear a local sports team jersey, pimp for the home team or anything special going on that town. I’ve been to see them 3 times and the detail needed to put on such an event is incredible. They sell out every show which is amazing considering absolutely no one likes them 🤔

my problem with this song is that it was WAAAAAAAYYYYY overplayed in its hayday. this song was made during a time where you didnt have spotify, etc and had to listen to the radio.. and i kid you not, they would routinely play this sometimes 4 times an hour. it was just too much.

This song is not about a relationship. It's about the perspective of the person who has observed so much negativity he has lost faith and control. "This is how you remind me of what I really am" People show ridicule and hatred due to the bitter disposition of the understanding of the ignorance in folly of humanity, after everything this person has been through they show him his own spite due to their ignorance.

Sooo....I think you are both smart and aware and so, it's so hard for me to understand how you NEVER heard of Nickleback! And, this song is their first hit, of MANY. I don't think there's ever a band who has had more love and fans...and for reasons I do not understand, more haters! I paid big bucks to see them live 4 times and they were BETTER in concert than recorded and to me, that's the ultimate compliment you can give to a music artist. I'm a little late to the party on this, but I always took it to be the Anthem of the Narcissist. The wise man, the poor man stealing, blind man are all masks a narcissist might wear. When he says its not like you to say "sorry" - he is complaining that she finally left his abusive ass and it reminds him of what he really is. That's why he yells alot and screams "are we having fun yet?" I could be wrong.
