@@JohnyAngelo Queen has three great singers. Any one of them could lead vocal a band. However... when you have Fredddie, you have back up vocals mostly from the other two ;)
Let's not forget about Dr. Brian May PhD in astrophysics who when he's not on tour with queen he's working on exploring the secrets of the universe with the European space agency
@@JohnyAngelo it's kind of sad when you say "only 3rd"... until you remember the other two are Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor... Kind of a hard competition there... 🤣
I had the pleasure of seeing them on this tour in September 1980 at Madison Square Garden, and it was amazing. Of course he was so young, we all were. I was 22 when i saw them in '80. I highly recommend watching "Save Me" from this same show.
Queen is not just Freddie. He is an incredible singer, but don't forget the harmonies provided by Brian May and Roger Taylor and John Deacon. Roger singing and playing drums amazed me.
My favorite Queen song EVER!! Freddie penned this beauty inspired by his love for Aretha Franklin. It is said that this is Freddie’s favorite song, too!! It is brilliant!! Another favorite of mine is PLAY THE GAME & SAVE ME from the same concert! You’ll love it! ❤ ❤
Please, do more Queen......there are so many AMAZING songs to choose from, Killer Queen, Radio Ga Ga, We Will Rock You/We are the Champions, Fat Bottom Girls, My Best Friend, Love of My Life, Another One Bites the Dust.....and dozens more !!! PLEASE more QUEEN !!
He was 35 here, only 10 years before he passed. Look at their ‘70s stuff if you want to see young Freddie and all of them with long hair. It was a very great time in music history, the ‘70s and ‘80s. The ‘60s too, but Queen didn’t exist as such back then, but were greatly influenced by many bangs and legendary singers and guitarists, just performers from the ‘50s and ‘60s and their own time. So many great live performances since their start in 1970, but everything is great, always has been, and his stage presence and his performing is legendary. Everyone in that band are legends in their own right, but Freddie was a phenomenon. Thank you for reacting to them.
🇨🇦 There are a number of songs that rise to this level ! "Who wants to live forever" by Queen, "Nights in White Satin" by Moody Blues, "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd, "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin, "Crossroads" by Cream and many, many more ! Try reacting to one of these, if you haven't already ! 🇨🇦
First time seeing your channel. Was also struck by the comment "he was so young". What other queen have you reacted to? Didn't see a Queen playlist. You'll definitely need one. Monster hit after monster hit. Do some early Queen (when he was really young). Killer Queen and, of course, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Your Reactions are Super, almost Moving in their Sincerity, You seem to have such an Intuitive Connection to the Inner Quality of Great Music ... But Please - You Must also react to ABBA, (I did not find any ABBA songs in Yout Cataloge ...) Start with Dancing Queen, SOS, Knowing Me Knowing You, The Winner Takes it All, Name of the Game. Maybe I'm partial because I'm from Sweden, but Still I would just Love seeing Your Smile light up Your Face and a Tear or Two glitter in Your Eyes ...
I would love to recommend "Barcelona" with Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé. She was one of the most famous sopranos in the world of opera, and the result of her voices together, impressive. I highly recommend her, she will surprise and delight you, I assure you.
Freddie Mercury, Ian Curtis, Brandon Lee... They'll always be young. Because they never made it to grow old. Wish they had. There's no telling how much beauty they would have brought to the world if there had been more time.
It's easy to forget the other three singers in Queen by Freddies performance but my favorite singer in Queen has aiways been Roger Taylor the drummer . And Steph there are so many bands and singers from this era and Freddie is just one of them.
Definitely recommend watching George Michael covering this song with the remaining members of Queen at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert at Wembley. You won’t be disappointed 😊
Steph what did you do? You picked one of the best music videos on you tube with the legendary Queen and the one and only Freddie Mercury, its all downhill now...lol..just kidding but its my favorite live performance of ANYONE and certainly on everyone's list of top videos. I DJ some weekends and you would be amazed at how many people in their early 20's love this and tell me they wish there was some music like this today. Anyway, great reaction, I'm out, have a great day!
Love your reactions. When I first saw this video I was floored. Been a Queen fan for fifty years. Always love the song, but this version ruined the studio version for me. In fact, alot of their live songs are better. Two reasons. Freddie doesn't hold back at all and creates a new masterpiece each time he sings on stage. Second, the rest of the band ain't to shabby either.
I do not understand!?! I do not understand!?! Why you have not fiscovered Japanese Metal Bands??? Please try "Lovebites" with the song "Holy War". Please try "Nemophila" with their song "Oiran". Both bands are all women and all talent. Try "Ado" for the most emotional song of the year with the song "Unravel - Live". Welcome to Japanese rRock and Metal. Oh, don't forget "Band - Maid".
