Wasn't he a wonderful, talented artist? I spent my 24th birthday at this concert. Traveled a road trip of over 5000 miles from northern Alberta down to Quebec. This song was one of the highlights of the night. Imagine hearing Freddie from the 8th-row center? It's a memory I'll have forever.

He / they were brilliant live, I was lucky enough to see them live 3 times. The first one was 6 months after this one 29th May 1982 at Elland Rd, Leeds for my 13th birthday, and the second & third times were at Manchester & Knebworth in 86. My favourite concert was Leeds closely followed by Knebworth

Absolutely amazing performance from the best band and frontman of a band ever, my introduction to Queen was at Hammersmith Oden in 1975 and was hooked on the band, especially on the night there song White Queen, I also attended LiveAid at Wembley Stadium in 1885 and again Wembley Stadium in 1986 which was the end of Queens Magic Tour, Queen put on an extra show in 1986 at Knebworth Park 🇬🇧 Uk, which proved to be Freddie’s very last live performance ever, the crowd at Knebworth was estimated to be 140 -150 thousand people, Freddie carried on in the studio until he was to ill to sing , great reaction thanks 🙏

I've heard this song probably 2,500 times and every SINGLE time, I lose a few tears. For exactly the reason you say. Freddie and Queen saved my life. I was struggling with a really mean divorce and so many times I thought about doing the unalive thing. One day I discovered this beautiful man and his beautiful band. I am as straight as it gets but this man is magical! He had been dead for 20 years but he saved my life. I still can't explain it but he did.

Nicereaction, I understand what you are saying about not being to experience something like this. No auto tune back then gave the artist much more freedom in their live performances. Freddie is a perfect example of that, never 2 live performances the same. There is no soul in todays "new" music.

I saw Queen live in 1976, at Cardiff castle in Wales UK. Seems like yesterday but it was a long time ago but I remember Freddie threw red roses to the crowd and it rained a lot throughout their superb performance.

@@davidperkins6752I saw Bob Marley at Cardiff City's football ground in June 76 and it was torrential rain. Saw Status Quo and Hawkwind at Cardiff csstle in July 76 and it was very hot and sunny and then I saw Queen in the castle in Sept 76 and it was raining again. All my memories of 76, apart from the 2 gigs, are of extreme heat though. I saw the Sex Pistols in Dec 76 and it was freezing! A good year for live music even though I was only 14 for Bob and 15 for the other 3.

Having grown up with Queen they hold a special place in my heart, and whatever other musical avenues I travel down I always drift back. What is often overlooked in the focus on Freddie, and sometimes Brian, is how they gel as a band. They all wrote hits for the group and all contributed hugely to the songcraft. Seeing and hearing this live the way the four of them interweave their lines to make something so much bigger than the individual parts is the magic.

Over 40 years ago , hardly or any electronical tricks available, "just" what you see is and besides AC/DC I can't recall any band able to perform so charismatic as Queen. Freddy was the hero, but it extraordinary because of the performance of all 4 man.

Lucky for us Queen recorded every live performance on film right from their beginning, so in a hundred years this video will still make people feel like they were there. They can remaster the film as technology evolves but the vocals will always be these 4 incredibly talented guys onstage playing their instruments to perfection with no auto tune needed, no gimmicks just pure talent. Freddie was a gift to this world and he is so missed. 👑

I saw them in the Uk in 1982 on this tour. No one could touch them live and I saw Bowie and the Rolling stones live around the same time and then Guns and Rises and Bon jovi amongst others around ten to 15 years later and they all couldn't hold a candle to this band. Freddie was amazing but it was the whole band that made the experience truly epic. You haven't lived unless you where conducted by Freddie in a vocal gymnestics monolog. God bless you Freddie and I hope you are partying hard and have found peace. true genius, true legend!

Once you 'Get' Queen...They become part of your soul and mental wallpaper. Although now in this 21st century there is so much mystique surrounding Queen, and particularly Freddie's legendary status...We who were privileged to see Queen perform live, knew instinctively that we were witnessing inimitable greatness. I was so very fortunate to attend several of their concerts in different parts of the world in the mid 80's...This band were the perfect storm, and Freddie was the God with pockets full of fairy dust, who ensured each and every ticket holder experienced the absolute time of their lives. Dear Freddie showed us inside his heart...and we will love him forever for it.❤

I saw Queen 2 times in the late 1970’s and were the best live band ever. I was so depressed when I heard he was dying and cried when he did. I know for a fact you would have been blown away if you saw them. Freddie had such a she presence.
