Selena was born in Lake Jackson, Texas. Lived and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. The boy band was The Barrio Boys, and they are of Puerto Rican descent from New York City. One of them became one of her backup singers. You can see him on her right on the Live from the Astrodome Concert. Selena is an All American girl and learned her Spanish songs phonetically, until she learned to speak it in her late teens. Her first language is English. I'm an older person, I remember watching her as an early teen all the way up until her death. I saw her once in a concert in 1993. She was a true entertainer. She is truly missed. Thank you for keeping her music and memory alive. Donde Quiera que estes, means Wherever you are. The song says, Wherever you are, i will always be your first love.

The group is Barrio Boyzz and the lead singer is Louie Marrero. The song was from the Barrio Boyzz featuring Selana when she passed her dad bought the rights to the song. Louie now sings with FDR band you can find videos of him here.
