Irish-Americans have a unique experience, different from other immigrant groups.... Its not like they claim to be irish, just irish-american. Give our country another couple hundred years to build our own identity and im sure things will change like it has in yours Edit: to expand on my point, if you google it you will see that nearly 30% of our population is just first/second generation immigrants.

We all know how men will react to this, so Elie was no surprise. But watching women react to this man is a treat. Carol laughed some but then it got to the sex part and her reaction was epic. Especially women from another culture, this is what you learn, Americans will talk about anything on stage if they think it's funny. Jewish comedian in a Palestinian bar in Berlin doing standup a week or so after the Hamas attack that started the most recent phase in the conflict south of you guys' border (well, I guess thanks to Hisbollah and Iran not only south of there).
