SAO is way too over hated, it was my first anime still holds a dear spot in my heart

This show literally started Isekai. Like the entire genre. It existed before and was extremely niche, but this was the thermometer bomb of popularity that made it main stream. It's hard to even describe the hype of his show was getting at the time.

There's a lot of girls in the beginning because the mc isn't very social, but his girlfriend is, so he just ends up hanging out with her friends. The friends he does have are all older guys though, and he only makes friends situationally throughout the show, meaning he only has friendship if it is forced upon him. Slight spoiler: TLDR: Kiri doesn't socialize and most of his socialization comes from Asuna, so his other friends are all out of situations like being childhood friends or beinh sought by that person. Since most of his socialization throughout his mid-teens was with elves and Asuna so he's more comfortable around women than men, not to mention that his "dad" was always gone and he didn't have brothers. Full Spoiler Rant So, he doesn't seek out friendships but Leafa is an acception to this rule as she was the most familiar thing to him in Alfheim, an elf woman, or what appeard to be elf. Anyway, he saved her out of kindness and to use her for information like what he did with silica. But other relationships are more situational, this is the case with Alice and Eugeo's friendship with him. Asuna had sought him out at the beginning of Aincrad, and so did Klein. All of his major relationships are people who sought out his friendship or were situationally friends by being born in Rulid at the same time. This extends furthur with his kind demeanor that seeks to help others, but he never follows up afterwards, instead believing that it's best if he were to stay away from others as imposed on him during his time in Aincrad, which was changed after his self-image switch was repaired and as Star King and in Unital Ring he's become more confident in his ability to be proper friends with people and build his relationships, something he started with Yui, as it's easiest for him to connnect to his daughter, and these connections start spreading to his relationships with his other friends.

Excited for you on this bro this was THE anime that got me into anime and when u played the 1st OP the nostalgia hit hard 😭 hope u enjoy!

asuna was in every single opening(except 7), you may not haverecognize her because in 1 game she has blue hair

No spoilers ahead Some parts of the show have a bad reputation, (namely the second half of season 1 as well es most of season2). In my personal opinion, the show is a masterpiece from start to finish. If at any point you have doubts, trust me, as a whole its awesome, but seasons 3 and 4 are godly. I hope you will have a lot of fun with this show :) stay cool :)

The animation of this show is even better than the top anime of 2023 even better than Demon Slayer, and Jujutsu Kaisen

The main problem of this show is too much girls. Change half the female cast to males and the show will be miles better.
