Opening 10 was made that way on purpose to cheer the audience after the tsunami happened in japan some years ago

The reason for opening 10 being funny and sillly, i cuz it at the time it aired (2011) there was a devastating earthquake followed by a tsunami in japan and the studio tried to cheer up the mood of the nation changing the op at the last minute for something to make people happy. And op 11 is like a Japanese war anthem.

The eyes are a sort of power in the show and their called dojutsu. The purple and red eyes are two different sorts of dojutsu with different abilities. They are a bloodline trait, so not everyone has them. There is a 3 year timeskip between original Naruto and shippuden, and about a 15 year timeskip between shippuden and Boruto. Boruto is about Narutos son. You were spot on with the yin and yang comparison between Naruto (Main character) and Sauske (character with red eyes and grey clothes). Opening 10 (the one you said was goffy) was set like that because of a huge earthquake that hit Japan at the time, so they made the opening goffier to kinda lighten the mood in a sense. The goofiness of the opening is not representative of the tone of the show during that point. Most of the side cast of characters were already established in the original series btw. It may be hard to recognize them since the original openings don't focus on them as much.

Him not remembering Sasuke from the first series and him not recognizing and thinking that Sasuke died in Opening 4 after seeing him in 2 and 3 physically hurt me lol

I would highly recommend watching Naruto, it's an incredible experience and really changes our perspective of the world and understanding of human pain and difficulties, despite there being a lot of fantasy involved.

"Diver" is my favorite by far For One I love the band but the visuals also Tell you everything you need to know about Naruto Naruto drowing from all the hate and loneliness and Then his friends picking him back up and getting him out of that hate But he willingly goes headfirst back into it to save his friend like they saved him

A huge part of Naruto's story is Naruto and Sasuke's relationship, so that's why you keep seeing ying and yang symbolism and stuff. They are soulmates, no matter how you may view their relationship - platonically or romantically or whatever else. Not gonna spoil what's going on with these two and their story, but it's very complex

Boy, my advice to you is to start as soon as possible and start watching this masterpiece of anime, but watch it and avoid filler episodes (episodes that are not part of the manga itself - manga is a term for a type of Japanese comic) By the way, Naruto manga was created by Masashi Kishimoto who was inspired with the famous Dragon Ball manga based on the Chinese novel "Journey to the west". Naruto as a manga has sold over 260 million copies worldwide, making it the third most important manga in history, and Dragon Ball over 320 million copies. Trust me, you won't regret it, the story is full of life lessons, strong emotions, and Naruto Shippuden is much more serious and dark. PS: Remember this - YOU WILL KNOW PAIN 😏🔥 FUN FACT: Openings 10 and 11, which look silly, were made that way on purpose because in 2011 there was that earthquake in Japan where a lot of people died, so they just wanted to cheer up the audience through this kind of presentation.

I'm sure people have said this already, but the yin yang symbol guy you were seeing with naruto is the guy from the first series that was with him in the picture at the end. People dislike boruto because it's seen as a cash grab by the creators to continue on a popular story that has already been resolved. It's like the walking dead with all its seasons. Naruto shippudden resolved pretty much all the main story lines and boruto follows around naruto's son.

Nice! I reccommend watching Naruto and Shippuden, i've seen hundreds of anime and Naruto definitely has a special place in my heart. Also, I think it's worth watching the Boruto openings!

Opening 20 is after the huge war that makes up about half of Shippuden has finally ended. Everyone was fighting to avert the end of the world, and after the war that comradery lead to peace between all of the previously warring factions. This last part of the show is actually three mini-arcs. The first two focus on stopping budding conflicts that might have otherwise threatened the infant peace, before they can get off the ground. The last is a lighthearted story focused around the titular character getting married.

Naruto Shippuuden is far better for me than the OG one. There is way more inspiring and impactful quotes in it than in normal Naruto. And above all else it's even more emotional.😅 When it comes many "Boruto haters"- they just consider "Boruto" an offspring of two or three worst and last arcs of Naruto Shippuden. The opening 16 is an absolute classic and most people are loving it including me.❤ Of course You can check Boruto openings if You want. 😉I know it's a little bit late, but I wish Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!🎉

Shippudan far better then the starting one. Starting one is decent while shippudan is peak. Overall Naruto is a masterpiece and highly recommended. After finishing naruto you will eventually watch boruto good or bad wont be matter 😂😂

Yes, Naruto had those cheek marks in the original series. Also that stone/gem thing in one of the last openings is metaphorical, it could be interpreted as the future, the bonds they have or something else they hold dear. Naruto is trying to catch it while Sasuke is running away and attacking it. As for the quality of the beginning and the end of Shippuden then the beginning is definitely better, one of the major criticisms of the show is the ending battle. They built up a great formidable villain, even name dropped him all the way back in the original Naruto and they just ruined it by revealing another villain right at the end out of nowhere shoving the main villain to the side.

I consider Naruto to be the best action anime ever. The power system is kindda mix up but the fight choreography, animation and film making in general is just phenomenal

It's kinda crazy that you can't grasp Naruto and Sasuke being rivals for the first 10 openings lol😂. I'm not saying you should know the backstory or purpose of the rivalry but seeing you come up with every theory other than the obvious one the openings basically shows was hilarious to me.

Btw Naruto and Naruto Shippuden has 720 episodes in total and ended in 2017 but only 427 episodes are canon. The other 293 are filler and you don't need to watch the filler but i did and took me 2 years to finish it (2020-2022).

Definitely watch this anime, it’s one of the best shonen series out there. Being long is a good thing in this series case, you really get attached to the characters and get invested in the story.

So to answer your question regarding why many people have a slightly negative opinion of Boruto.. let's see.. I'm not an expert but as far as my understanding goes, Naruto Shippuuden felt like a "fitting end" for a legendary series which had influenced and would go on to influence many anime in future however let's just say that some things from original Naruto series are slightly butchered in Boruto for the obvious reasons that the show is about Boruto and no longer about Naruto. If you have the time and passion, Boruto series isn't that terrible after a certain point and is quite enjoyable but most people who grew up watching Naruto have no reason to continue with a Spin-Off (or so they call it) series and so they end up judging the whole series based on some terrible initial episodes of the series. Regardless, the manga for Boruto (which was taken up by seperate author) is quite popular and enjoyable to say the least but don't mind the opinions of people who may not be fairly judging something.

the reason why people hate boruto is because it is more than 70% filler because the manga is monthly and anime doe not get enough source material to continue so, they do 100's of filler's instead of making it a seasonal anime other wise the manga is currently in top 5 and sometimes on top 1 whenever new chapter releases , so it's only the anime that get's the hate .

1:27 yes, in the original Naruto, Naruto is 12 and 13 years old. Naruto shippuden is 2.5 years later and Naruto is 15 and 16. In the next spin off, it is about 20, maybe 30 years later and the show has Naruto in it, but the main character is Naruto’s son.

42:29 I don’t think there’s and real name to Naruto’s “flame mode”. Naruto looks like that because he can now control the magical power of the fox you’ve noticed. Naruto’s yellow eyes in opening 7 the power he is using is sage mode. And at this opening where Naruto’s yellow eyes are different it’s that there’s a vertical black line added to it when before it just had the horizontal black line in it. Having the eyes in that new shape means that he is in his sage form and using the fox’s powers at the same time.

Im not sure but i imagine that the symbolism of the stone in opening 18 is essentially "happiness"

the stone u saw at opening 18 is symbolizing bonds, thats why the main character try to grab it but struggle, meanwhile the yin yang guy trying to run away and destroy it. its the main story

There are actually 3 different versions of opening 19 with the same song but different visuals. My personal favorite openings are opening 19 v3, opening 20, and opening 16

I personally believe that this is one of the best stories ever told, so I definitely think you should start ASAP. A good idea for sure is to get a filler list so you can skip the stuff that doesnt matter. It makes the whole thing much more digestable. Also, going all the way through Boruto is definitely worth it. Especially if you skip all the filler.

Or basically nothing will make sense unless you watch the anime. Aside from showing characters and everything usually the Openings doesn't make sense nor tells you story much as it's not supposed to do that or it will spoil the season basically. naruto's running to me is like they're running so fast with just their legs that they don't need their arms to get momentum, so it end up becoming something spare or extra, and it's not for a different way or aesthetic, it's more physic

As a Whole I think the original Naruto is better but Shippuden has the best moments overall And I like The Boruto Manga I just wish the Anime was more focused on the core story

39:13 the Sign naruto makes here is the Jutsu Sign for the "Shadow Clown Jutsu" which is one of the many Ninjutsu that can be done by a ninja. Some Ninjutsu are hard while some are easy for any shinobi/ Ninja to do. Jutsus are done by performing different hand symbol, and to be able to even use a jutsu, you need chakra. think of Chakra as like energy. You use the chakra flowing through your whole body. Or, think of it as like Mana in a video game, you need mana to perform magic. One thing, if your chakra goes down to Zero, you will DIE.

Regarding the ending of Shippuden, the best way I can describe it is... people liked everything leading up to the ending, didn't really like the final ending setup, LOVED the final fight and resolution (actually better than the manga), and then everything after that is a Boruto trailer.

OP3 and OP16 are openings that are all over anime compilations. They are just awesome. OP4 has my most memorable character- Hidan OP6 Most emotional even more than OP3 of original Naruto. OP18 is also in conversation as most emotional but since i didn't watch Naruto to this point i wouldn't know. Song in OP8 i don't like but the visuals and meaning behind it i just love. It makes this opening my 4th favourite opening in both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. 18:40 You got it OP10 is silly. The reason is that Japanese people needed to smile and relax at this time. Nuclear powerplant Fukushima was hit by earthquake and tsunami (high water wave). OP13 is around where i stopped to watch Naruto. I think you nailed OP20, it is life after defeating big bad and remembering everything. Out of shows that have 10+ openings i would put Naruto + Naruto Shippuden in top 3 with Black Clover and Bleach. You are totally confused about eyes. Red eyes with semicolon is showing multiple times but you are still combining them with other eyes images.

if you don't plan n watching this then hy don't you do naruto and naruto shippuden fight's and boruto's fight too because if you plan to watch it then the fights hold a lot of emotions and makes you cry and hype because of the way it is made and the build up it besides naruto fight's are the best in anime in terms of choreography

Personally, I prefer Shippuden a bit more than OG just because it significantly expands the world and lore of the verse while also making you feel like it is truly alive and the people living in it are like real people. I'd say Shippuden had a very controversial ending because of power scaling of the actual villains but it made it up by wrapping up the "main" storyline of the series in a fantastic and beautiful way The thing I've seen most people dislike about Boruto anime is pacing during the first part of the story (which is kinda understandable imo). Then the biggest issue that a lot of people had is how it kinda failed at both being its own thing and being a sequel to the Naruto series. So many time it relied on the OG characters to be interesting and then it nerfed most of the OG main cast to give the new cast more shine and ease up a bit of the power scaling. All this kinda ended up working in the favor of the author as part 1 of the Boruto series reached its end and redeemed itself in some of the issues. Now that part 2 of Boruto (Two Blue Vortex) has started I think most people can agree that it's going in the right direction and has recuperated a bit of the charm. We're just 5 chapter into this new storyline so hopefully it continues to deliver

Tbh I'd love to see your reaction to Naruto fights. If you want an early one I definitely recommend Rock Lee vs Gaara or Sasuke vs Naruto part 1. For later fights some of the better ones are Madara vs Shinobi Alliance, Kakashi vs Obito, Sasuke vs Naruto final battle. There are many many good fights, until you watch the show they might be hard to understand but Naruto probably has the best combat system in anime, definitely beats out Bleach, One Piece and most others. Edit: Boruto fights would have to be Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki or Naruto vs Jigen

Shippuden just part 2 of Naruto. It's the same story but 3 years have passed since OG Naruto. It's still great, it starts very high, but sadly, it slowly begins to spiral downward. It's still good, worth watching for sure, but it doesn't have that special thing that OG Naruto had. Also, Diver is my favorite Shippuden opening.

my fav are op6 , op 13, op 16 because of what was happening in the show at that point of time and yeh op 6 time is pretty rough for naruto fans because of hat was happening

You should definitely check out the boruto openings next, some people may think it’s not the best however the openings are great in my opinion

Some CC (take it or leave lt thats ok).. its ok to pause to make comments.. cause you miss whats going on if you keeo talking during the openings.. openings (and endings) are very fast paced.. 10 seconds of distraction might mean missing the whole point of the opening "Blue" guy is the antagonist to the orange guy which is a theme kept through the openings and quite easy to pick up even for first time viewers (especially if youre looking at them sequentially)

Cool reactions and commentary, but little suggestion from me try not to talk too much while watching the openings and save it for after, i know you still catched some stuff but you're definitely missed some visuals that are worth to talk about, and that's the most interesting part of these reactions is that how you make theories from seeing the visuals and stuff. Also before Boruto, Shippuden endings are a MUST. It has more visuals and some of the better music than the openings, trust me.

I just wanna say Naruto and Naruto Shippuden are the same show 😅 in the manga is just Naruto. The title was just to separate into 2 parts as in after the time skip, like a part 2. But Boruto is another manga with another author (later on the original got his hands on it tho) and it's about the future generation of Naruto (so a few years after the Naruto show). I heard the manga is not that bad but I didn't like it when i watch the anime so I didn't continue the series. I say if you watch the whole series of Naruto, you should decide yourself if you want to watch or read Boruto. 😊. so op 20 is more of an epilogue to the mayor story while the end happens around opening 19, also the reason opening 10 is so goofy is because a mayor tsunami hit japan so they tried to cheer up the mood by making the opening a little goofier

33:54 I would say that Naruto shippuden is great all the way through. And the show doesn’t necessarily revolve all around Naruto. U get to see fights from tons of different characters and it’s not all just watching Naruto fight and there are many plot twists as well. As the show goes on and they get older, u really get to see the characters grow emotionally and physically. I think the show gets better as it keeps going. But I’m not that into boruto.

The Naruto series is my favorite anime of all time. And Boruto gets unnecessary hate by people that really havent either read or watched it. The big problem with it was the manga being monthly and the anime being weekly, sometimes theyd do good anime canon arcs that tie in good to the manga, and other times its more like Naruto with unrelated filler.

Opening 6 is sad opening in naruto for me Giant animal in that opening called Summoning jutsu, but in naruto body is different, that is Bijuu (Tailed Beast) Bijuu only exist 9 and they reference from Japanese mythological Bijuu sealed in human body, they called is Jinchuuriki For eye's that is Doujutsu (Eye's Technic) - Red eye's with 3 pupils is Sharingan, just Uchiha clan has this eye's - Red eye's with unique pupils is Mangekyou Sharingan, this is upgrade level from Sharingan - Purple eye's is Rinnegan, this is legend eye's, this is only possessed when the powers of the uchiha and senju clan combine in 1 body (cmiiw) - White eye's is Byakugan, just Hyuuga clan has this eye's When a Mangekyou Sharingan user transplants his eye's to another user it will create Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan

Opening 17 is not pronounced as Caze, it is pronounced as "Ka- Zeh" like how it is spelled in the romanized version "Kaze" which means Wind in Japanese.

The stones in opening 18 are not a real thing in the series. It's another symbolic thing. Every stone in the opening represents the greatest desire of the character(s) onscreen with it. The very start of the opening has a series of characters letting go of a crystal, and it falling past the bottom of the screen. These characters are all dead, and them letting go of the symbol of their greatest desires is itself symbolic of them entrusting their will to those who yet live. That's a big thing in the series, creating a future worth fighting for and protecting, and in turn entrusting that task to the next generation. The antagonists who cause the most trouble in the series all have one thing in common; the refusal to entrust to the next generation. Moving on, young Naruto's desire is to be acknowledged, at first by anyone but then after he forms a bond with Sasuke he specifically wants _his_ recognition. Older Naruto's desire is to get Sasuke back. Young Sasuke's desire is to not be alone, but the path he's chosen for himself puts him at odds with that desire, which is why he keeps swatting the crystal away like a bug that keeps buzzing around him. Older Sasuke's desire has been narrowed down to the vengeance that was the bath I mentioned putting him at odds with his previous desire, and older Sasuke's crystal specifically represents the target of his vengeance. That scene ends with Sasuke cutting the crystal in half with his sword. Sakura had two crystals, both her younger self and her older self. Those crystals represent Naruto and Sasuke. In different ways and for different reasons, the two are beyond her reach, and her greatest desire is to bridge that gap. When Kakashi and Obito are first shown in the opening, they're joined by a third character named Rin. Then in the next shot there's a crystal that instantly shatters. Obito was in love with Rin, but at one point he was forcibly separated from the two and the last request he made of Kakashi was to protect Rin. Kakashi failed in a spectacular way, and Obito happened to witness that moment of failure. That put Obito at odds with Kakashi for the longest time, meanwhile Kakashi didn't even know Obito was still alive. The final two shots of those two are after Obito has been able to let go of his hatred because he was convinced it's what Rin would have wanted, and the crystal there is their desire to do right by her. Madara has the most interesting segment of this opening. He's the white-haired guy with the purple eyes and the horns who gets that lady's hand through his chest. His desire is to be the savior of the world, but his method is actually, unbeknownst to him, a script that another has had him strung along to that would ultimately doom the world. Said person was trying to revive the lady you see putting her hand through Madara's chest and grabbing the crystal. That represents the moment the one who'd been stringing Madara along finally reveals that he'd been playing the man. From there it's a bunch of characters all reaching out for the same crystal. This is everyone, from all the various 'factions' as you've called them, having united in cause to prevent the above doom plan from happening. Naruto grabbing the crystal at the end is because Sasuke's come back to him. There are a few different versions of this opening, but the only difference is the character at the end and how they handle the crystal.
