Dany wrote this about being in Boston studying at Berklee School of Music at 15, thousands of miles from her home in Mexico. It was a class assignment and she completed it the night before it was due, staying up all night to finish it.

A little info about them… They are 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. They fell in love with rock music when their parents bought them the video game “Rock-band”. That’s how everything started. The band just celebrated their 10th year anniversary. - 👩🏼 Daniela (Dany) Guitar and lead vocals. She is 24 years old. She plays piano and saxophone 🎷. She is sponsored by PRS. She loves donuts 🍩. Her main hobby is diamond painting 🖼️. She just started a collection of pictures of herself next to fire extinguishers🧯 from all over the world. She is a sweetheart, very loving girl and disciplined. She has the best voice for rock music in the industry today. Only Lzzy Hale can compete with Dany. On tour she always has to have fresh fruit. 🍉 🍎 🍊 - 🧑🏻‍🦰 Paulina (Pau) Drums and vocals. She is 22 years old. She is sponsored by Sabian. She won best rock drummer of the year 2023. She plays piano. 🎹 She collects Anime and Vinyls. She writes almost all the lyrics for the band. She is a genius firecracker 🧨 She is an amazing drummer and she can sing while she plays, very difficult thing to do. She has a tremendous voice that transmits a lot of emotion. She is the lead singer in many of their songs. NEVER tell her in the “meet and greets” that she is short person, she’ll get mad. She is going to make you cry when she sings the song “black holes”. Prepare the tissues 😢. - 👧🏻 Alejandra (Ale) Bass and Vocals. She is sponsored by Spector. She plays piano 🎹. This girl is the youngest (19) but she is the tallest. Ale is a tremendous bass player, she is a clean, clear and consistent player. She sings well but she doesn’t like to sing. She prefers the backing vocals. She loves Takis chips (fire). NEVER put pineapple in her pizza 🍕, she will get mad. She is very reserved, but very smart!. When things are going out of control in the band, she is the voice of reason. She has super strength powers, she can break an apple with her little bare hands 🍏💪🏻r

*When I'm Alone* *When I'm Alone* is Dany's song... Ale and Pau accompany with only their instruments... no harmonies or backing vocals... the blacked out solo beginning and ending with Dany alone in the spotlight is beautiful and quite fitting for this song and what it represents... Dany wrote this when the girls were at Berklee Music College (aka BMC) in Boston back in 2015 attending the summer session they offer(ed)... she got very homesick and also had a homework task to write a song... she hadn't any ideas, time was running out, and being homesick was devastating... she recorded a teary vlog about it... afterward she realized she could harness the emotions and pain she was feeling to write her song... i haven't heard what grade she got for it but many of us hope it was an A+... Dany has also stated several times that when she writes a song, it is from her heart and whatever emotions she is feeling at the time... so here we are enjoying this truly heartfelt song of loneliness and heartache... speaking of Berklee Music College, their concert at "Liceo" (basically Spanish for "learning place" or "high school") had multiple purposes... for one purpose, the story is that they needed something to submit to Berklee showing Ale's and Pau's chops and how well they played their instruments... this because both of them were less than 15 years old which is/was the age cut off for the summer program they were wanting to attend... so each of them chose a song to show off their talents... IIRC, those songs were "Hysteria" for Ale, "Everlong" for Pau, and "Crazy Train" for Dany... apparently BMC accepted their submissions because all three girls attended at the same time... while they were there they did vlogs to send to Ellen DeGeneres to keep her and her show up to date on how they were doing while at BMC... this because Ellen and Target gave each of the girls a check to help pay for them to attend the summer session at BMC... Well done, both of you! You sounded fine to me, and I applaud you doing this in a second language. I would be terrified to try doing this in another language I am learning to speak (and I don't even speak another language!). It takes a lot of intelligence and courage.

You guys are spot on with your assessment of these gals. I am 58 and grew up on 80s rock and yes, this has the 80s sound all the way and yet it's fresh and new as if we are getting to go back in time while they play.. They also have stuff with 90s sounds too. I suspect you have just fell into the rabbit hole just like the rest of us. YES YES YES please keep reacting on The Warning. EVERYTHING they do is great. This song was played at the Teatro Metro CDMX and the entire concert is BANGIN. Best concert I have ever seen and while their studio stuff is great they are best live. I suggest you start from the first song and run through to the end. Also check out their MTV VMA live performance. They literally stole the show, Welcome to The Warning Army!

Most non-Spanish speaking reactors I've watched love their songs in Spanish, too. Narcisista and Martirio. Pau comes up front to sing Narcisista at Teatro 2022, while her teacher drums. She also makes me tear up on Revenant at the same concert. While all three sisters are flawless, talented performers.

Daniela, Paulina y Alejandra tienen un talento innato formidable, cada una de ellas. Innato pero con práctica llevado a lo sublime. A pesar de su juventud, ya cuentan con mucha experiencia en su camino además de su gran preparación desde pequeñas. Su actitud, disciplina y voluntad de conseguir sus objetivos les están llevando a grandes y merecidos logros. Dany, Pau y Ale todavía están en el camino hacia la cima, pero con demasiado potencial, el suficiente para pensar que será inevitable alcanzarla. Además, el volumen de calidad que implica cada una de sus creaciones es grande… y enorme la cantidad de canciones que llevan dicha calidad, lo que para mí podría ser “El sello The Warning”. Estoy seguro de que cada una de sus creaciones es sometida a un minucioso proceso de calidad antes de ver finalmente la luz… Y no sólo en el aspecto técnico, sino que también ya ellas han demostrado que tienen un gusto exquisito por la buena música que les emana cuando se vuelven inspiradas y creativas. A todo esto se suma que están rodeadas de una excelente familia y un equipo fraterno totalmente comprometido con su proyecto… Y tienen una base de fans, “The Warning Army”, tremendamente fiel a ellas que se involucra decididamente en apoyarlas porque se lo han ganado merecidamente por ser seres humanos increíbles y sorprendentes. Saber esto les dará una perspectiva mucho mejor para valorar mejor a DPA, y tal vez entenderán que TW no es sólo una banda de jóvenes mujeres talentosas que hacen buenas canciones… No, se trata de música, realmente de arte con la brillantez de una "obra maestra" creada e interpretada por tres genios mujeres intérpretes desde temprana edad que han ido desarrollándose y evolucionando a pasos agigantados. La belleza de su arte radica en su sencillez. Cada una de estas asombrosas obras maestras del rock hay que apreciarlas en toda su dimensión y luego sorprenderse nuevamente de que son creaciones de quienes tienen un talento maravilloso pero que, debido a su edad, aún tienen mucho más talento por desarrollar. DPA ya son admirables pero su potencial aumenta exponencialmente a medida que ellas alcanzan el éxito. Mientras todo esto siga fluyendo con esta ecuación, pronto ellas llegarán a la cima del mundo donde merecen estar. Espero ver muchas reacciones tuyas a mi banda favorita de todos los tiempos. In case you are unaware they also have two songs in Spanish that are very popular amongst both the Spanish and English speakers, and everyone else - Narcisista and Martirio. They have released 50-ish original songs at this point, since 2015.
