Such a true statement. It's been awhile since I've looked (I needed a break from all the crap) but this came up in my YT feed and I forgot how cool it is to watch a newbie experience Tom. This is one of my favorite songs by him that blew my mind upon first listening. "Brainwashed" was another, but hell they all are great. When Tom is on point, he is on point!

Tom is so diverse. He released his latest song "Ghost" just before Xmas and it went #1 on the billboard charts beating Taylor Swift and Sam Smith. His girlfriend Nova and his parents are in the video. She directs, films, and edits all his videos. She's also an artist, used to be signed to Def Jam. Tom is totally independent. Tom and Nova used to have a band together called GFBF before his rap career took off

Tom Macdonald is 100% independent, he writes all of his lyrics, produces his beats, his girlfriend Nova films and edits the videos, 95% of his music is on CD because he gets more of the money and he misses when you would hold a cd while listening. Completely fearless truth bringer! He did make a love song for his girlfriend Nova (where he sings it's called Ghost) he released it right before Christmas it hit number one on the billboard in pop beating all the mainstream artists. So first off, you are absolutely beautiful! But anyway, I absolutely LOVED this reaction!! I'm excited to watch your "T-mac" journey!! If you decide to delve further!! There are several "Tom's" as you'll see. He doesn't only do "political/controversial" that's just what he's mainly known for are these types of songs!! Thank you for giving our guy a chance! He's 100% independent! His girlfriend Nova (the name at the end 😉) directs, shoots, and edits all his videos!. Her last name is a stage name not her real last name. Anyway, Tom literally has him, his girlfriend, his sister, her husband, and a few other close friends like 3 others that is his whole team that does literally EVERYTHING!!! Oh and Tom writes his songs (some help from Nova with the hooks), and Tom makes his own beats!!! He was a pro wrestler his teenage years in Canada (he's originally from Canada). He stopped because of the politics of it all, and he fell into addictions. He moved to LA (cali) to chase his biggest dream to rap. He did so but was rapping about what everyone does, sex, drugs, violence, etc etc and it made him fall further into his addictions. He had a mental break and moved back to Canada with his mom to get clean and his head right. He was there 9 months (give or take) and then his now girlfriend (they were friends at the time) asked him to move to South Central, LA with her after she willingly got dropped from Def Jam because they treated her like sh*t. Anyway, they went through a lot there. They tried making music together (that's how they fell in love), and they were broke, down to their last dollar, electricity was off and no food in their refrigerator. Tom had it and went to the porch and smoked his last half a cigarette (he's since quit), and in about 15 mins wrote his break out song "dear rappers" .... and the rest is history! Great reaction!! #HOG (BTW HOG means hang over gang, it's what him and his girlfriend Nova call us their fans!) If you put #HOG in with your other hastags other hogfam can find your page when you do his songs

You have a lot of great music from Tom to hear...He isn't stuck in one lane; he does a lot of different styles of music. Gotta check out his GF Nova, she makes great music also and does all of Tom's and her videos. They are 100% independent artists they are their own label make all the music, the videos, do the marketing and distribution on their own, there are videos of them taking mountains of signed CDs to the post office to mail, Mail carts full of them. I have been following them for about 3 years.... You won't find anything that will make you think what is wrong with them, empathy and coming together are basic ingredients in their music. I've been following Tom for several years now. That man is an absolute breath of fresh air in a culture that so aggressively tries to shut down "wrongthink". Were he not independent, they'd have shut him down years ago. They tried, and failed. He is a vessel for a message that the world NEEDS to hear. I always love seeing someone find his music for the first time, it's a hell of a rabbit hole. If I could designate one person in the world as "the voice of the people" (not the politicians and their sycophants, but the *people*), it would be Tom.
