Oh, you are in for a TREAT!!!! Twenty One Pilots really are in a class of their own as artists, and every single video they create is as meticulous and cinematic as this one! I deeply echo following "The Story" playlist on their channel in order, to get the full lore they've been building for almost a decade now!

Tyler and Josh. Josh is the drummer, Tyler sings, piano, bass, writes, produces etc. They’re from Columbus Ohio. They use Mark from real bear media, their friend, to do most of their videos and every one of them is awesome. You can’t pick a bad video. Their music is mostly about mental health and religion with some lore that Tyler wrote about his mental health issues. This song/ video starts the lore. But you don’t need to know it to enjoy. ❤

Their music videos are like a movie, spanning 4 albums and 9 years! Yeah, you're in the right place.

Alongside Ren being my favorite artist :D I bet others have told you this already, but this song is sort of an intro to a trilogy, so the next three songs you should react to to is "Jumpsuit", "Nico and the niners" and "Levitate", in that order. These songs will also be a good way to get into the lore if you're interested in that. And if you want some more info related to/about the lore, before the trilogy you should check out "Chlorine", "Stressed out", "Fairly local" (one of my favorites) and "my blood". Apart from those songs they have other great songs like: "Lane boy", "Message man" (My absolute favorite song, sadly without any video), "Neon gravestone" and "Migraine". A lot said in the comments so I just tell you that once I thought that Red Hot Chili Peppers are my number one band for life but twenty one pilots climbed that tøp: they combine mostly upbeat music with unexpected shifts and deep meaningful lyrics. The first one I heard was Car Radio, and it hits me, then I found video for Migraine captured in the Live Room, and it drag me down this rabbit hole. And another one piece for the portrait: their music is not a bunch of songs, but the world with connections and ties. They made whole lore for inner universe, and it's very addictive to explore and find new details. Will be happy to watch you open it, so I could refresh emotions I experienced once. And if you are interested in what their creative method is, you should check Lane Boy.

Ode to Sleeo video. Its a must. Car Radio, Lane Boy, Migraine, My Blood, Chlorine, Holding Onto You, theres just so much in terms of videos and killer interesting introspective songs.

Elizabeth will be a great guide for your TOP journey. twenty one pilots are Josh Dun on drums and Tyler Joseph on vocals, all other instruments and he is the songwriter and producer. They have been telling a story with the songs and videos for around 10 years and heavydirtysoul is the starting point. If want to do that journey go to the twenty one pilots youtube channel rather the Fueled By Ramen (their record label) and there is a playlist they made called The Story which is the key songs and videos. I think you would love the song and the video for migraine. It’s about surviving what’s going on in your head. But the official video is very interesting with the simple shots that they do.

I love watching people discover Twenty One Pilots!! As people have mentioned, there is a specific order for videos in order to grasp the greater lore and world of twenty one pilots, and they even have a playlist on their channel titled “the story” that has everything in order. There is also a video they put out titled “I am Clancy” that is a brief recap/overview of the lore and music videos up until the release of their latest album Clancy that came out in May, but it is up to you weather you want to watch it before diving into the story as to have general understanding of the lore or wait and watch the music videos blind so you can discover the story for yourself and then watch the video after to fill in any gaps and answer questions. Not all their videos are lore, so for non-lore videos I would definitely recommend Ode to Sleep (this is also an amazing starting point to know the history of the band and who they are) and Holding On To You. These are from earlier on in their career. They made music videos for every song off of their latest album, so all of those would be amazing (I would recommend skipping navigating and paladin strait for later though since those tie in directly to the lore). As a bonus, the majority of their music videos have BTS videos that are fun to watch and show a lot of the work and effort that goes into these shoots. The clique will definitely be here to help answer questions and be guides for your journey. My feeling is you absolutely don’t start with the Lore journey. They have such good music and great music videos that I think you can really enjoy getting to know their music in general before having to a dive that in reality misses A Lot of their music. I suggest that you would love ‘Fairly Local’ for the music and the cinematography. Looking forward to get to experience TOP through your eyes and ears Jesse. ✌🏻

Hmmm...welcome down the rabbit hole. As for cinematic productions, "you ain't seen nothing yet." lol This band makes great and meaningful music, but also has movie quality videos. There is lore behind many of the videos that goes back a decade and through multiple albums. I suggest a bit of HW, to research the lore. It is easy to find and shouldn't take too long. Then enjoy the journey!
