THANK YOU for turning off the idiotic captions. Even if they weren't massively WRONG, it's still a mistake to use them... the distractions are just not worth it. Eyes and ears 100% on Ren... not some stupid captions. Thanks!
Just an FYI, if no renegade has informed you, a long time ago, Ren removed the chance of copyright strikes on his music. He's no longer represented by a label (I think.. please correct me if I am wrong, renegades), anyway, you are not obliged to pause or cover the screen or anything else above and beyond normal fair use stuff.. obviously, if I have any of it wrong, please let me know folks
Since you’re a Disturbed fan, you probably already know that Draiman’s voice is unique, because he was a trained Jewish Cantor in his youth, as was his father and grandfather before him. Video was released in 2015. If you like this, you should react to “Don’t Tell Me” the official video that Disturbed released in January. It’s also black and white and features Ann Wilson of Heart singing with Draiman!!!! Your mind will be blown!
It’s funny that you stopped to put it on the highest quality, because that was the first thing I did when I started watching this review. I thought, ‘surely the film maker will have a better quality than 720…’ And you did. :)
I’ve watched this at least 100 times. Love it! Thanks for reacting. If you love cinematic music videos, Dimash is a must. Know. Stunningly beautiful. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nIJfrMFiTXw.htmlsi=tRSmfefEZEyVi8dK Qairan Elim ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K45qdRAIWaM.htmlsi=_ZQErFLqgKrTSxtt Story of One Sky. (Short movie/ music video). Everyone should watch this! Plea for peace and unity. Composed by Dimash and involved in all aspects. Starting composing this masterpiece at 26 yrs old. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1Psjws97FoA.htmlsi=bA_ipQo9s_0A6pT6
Many people prefer the live version on Conan but I prefer this one. And that is because of the video. To me the video is like another member of the band and it gives so much more depth and weight to the song. There's also an interview on RU-vid that he did with loud wire where they just asked him questions about stuff that floating around about him on the internet. If you haven't listened to Pentatonix cover of Sound of Silence I highly recommend it. People usually describe the three as this, Simon and Garfunkel was a warning Disturbed is the anger in that we have not heeded the warning that we haven't listened and Pentatonix Falls right in the middle
Great reaction, RENegade here, whatever you choose you will enjoy. I suggest Jenny and Screech and Violets Tale. A trilogy in bardcore style, exceptional. ❤❤❤
A couple of things you might want to look at again. The end of the musical aspect of this performance never resolved, he let the soliloquy at the end be the resolution. The lights flickering at the end of his almost joyful performance seemed to say that he was finally able to accept and adapt to the dance. The two shadows, one strong and the other a little weaker were referenced in the final portion of this performance when he spoke about the pendulum. All in all I think this performance is a piece of art, not just music, acting or cinematography. The whole thing, and the reaction to it gives me more hope than I've had in two decades that the music scene might not be completely swirling down the toilet.
They only had access to this room for two days. The first day was just to coordinate everyone’s movements in the video. The rehearsal. The video had to be completed on the first try because it would take too long for the floor to dry.
Even though the scenes were so beautiful to look at, I had to close my eyes and I could see the crusaders returning to their hometown after their battles and slowly riding through the city towards a cathedral. Thank you for showing me this video and reacting to it. ❤
I had a similar vision but in mine...the crusaders were the soldiers of light preparing for battle against the darkness. The whole build up was just 🙌 Thank you for share you're interpretation! I think we can all somewhat agree that this piece fuels our souls. ☺️
I sang this song in High School Choir. It was written over 1200 years ago (in Latin) and was translated to English in 1861. I love the children's choir, and the entire cinematic presentation. Excellent! Thank you.
Thank you for that EPIC information! I was already doing some digging around for the lyrics...I really appreciate the great feedback! Thank you for watching ☺️
Just finished watching with the family! We absolutely loved your reaction, and you are absolutely right❤ this was very Cinematic. Great pick jesse...my son literally has this song on repeat now lol we are so happy to see you more 😊 God bless you Jesse 👏
Loved this ❤ have you heard King + Country version? I think The Little Drummer Boy is my favorite as that was my brother's favorite ❤ I'll be sending links. Thank you! This was beautiful ❤
Was thrilled to see you post another reaction Jesse! Having trouble unwinding from a very challenging day and thanks to you and these angelic beautiful voices I can end this day feeling light hearted and peaceful…Blessings to you my young friend❣️
Just checking out some of your other reactions. I loved it ❤ What brought you across my RU-vid world was Tom MacDonald, a new song, I typed it reactions and watched them all. What kept me here? You have a calming and real nature about you. Trust? Tough one for me. Once broken, I find it very hard to tear down the walls. Friends, loved ones, people in general. My biggest lesson is to realize that not everyone is the same, so I, personally, have had to learn not to have my walls built before I actually know someone.
Great reaction😁 You should watch „The Greatest Show on Earth“ from Nightwish live at Tampere. Wonderful epic live „Movie-feeling“. (Watch till the End).
Never hear of Disturbed until I saw his live of this when he had the flu and 102 fever. I still do not listen to hm but this song is better than original!
YES YES YES. I was watching one of your other reactions with the still from your film. I immediately thought that it reminded me of Crutch. Here I am watching it and you put the still up. And YES, I do believe very strongly in synchronicities. It annoys me when people comment about pausing and commentary… if they don’t like it, they shouldn’t watch reactions. You bring something special. Keep going 💜💜💜💜💜💜
Here’s a different discovery story for this brilliant song. I am not a hard rock/metal listener. I was aware of Disturbed without really knowing anything about them. And then, I watched the European Figure Skating Championships and saw this gold medal-winning routine… and had to go find the song! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1PEaTNQUDqA.htmlsi=_IeIFX9-EmPIcXJv
He’s a good artist, but as a person he is pretty scummy. He is one of those “Pull yourself up by your bootstraps” and “If you want something do it yourself” people who actually grew up wealthy and never had to worry about anything.
Well I don't know too much about him but I will say for me personally I've had to work extremely hard to pull myself up and get it together. Everything I've ever earned was on my own. I just do what I gotta do ya know? Then again, I don't go around telling others unless they ask for my assistance. In my experience I've been burned helping others so I just use more caution these days. I do still try to to help where I can
@@Cinematic_Jesse that’s just it, because someone is struggling is not always through fault of their own and at the level of an economy with the poor and middle class struggling as hard as they are the economy nosedives. We are not the richest country in the world, but the richest country in the history of the world and the fact that the World Health Organization can go anywhere in our country and find “Third World levels of abject poverty” something isn’t right.
The build up is what gets me every time now! But yes I completely agree, those subtle changes of intensity in his facial movements...the eyes intensifying and then that explosion of Cinema sound!!! Gotta love it
Their interpretation of the song is epic! After originally watching it I watched many more videos by Disturbed and I’m a big fan now!) Another awesome artist with a video with well over 1billion views is Lost On You by LP Great reaction too!
Great TSOS reaction. Such a rarity, a cover arrangement that actually enriches a songs lyrics better than the original. Then there is the video, it's composed and shot, beautifully, and tells a complete story in those few minutes. One suggestion for a react is: Dimash Kudaibergen: Across Endless Dimensions. Arguably, the greatest living male singer in the world. In a big budget video of this song from the soundtrack of an Italian film called Creators: The Past. Stunning visuals, and the unprecedented vocal abilities of Dimash.
That one is coming up soon! I can't wait to check him out...I've been hearing great things from other viewers. Thank you for watching and for the recommendations. 🎬
