Check out the Worlds 2019 opening. It was done in a closed stadium and they were using a technology that cannot be used as good in an open stadium.

Since next year season 2 will come out we will witness more Arcane stuff at the opening Ceremony too just like 2021.

i was lucky enough to attend the event and it was a amazing exp and get goosbumps whenever watching it and yeah South Korea is the top dog when it comes to esports and for good reason considering esports basically began in South Korea

niceee react, if you are interested in seeing more LoL ceremonies, I recommend the 2019 and 2022 ones, they are the best opening ceremonies for me

The worlds finals openings really took off after they started getting Mastercard to sponsor them. They are using augmented reality to render the CGI stuff. In real time. They have other screens showing what you are seeing for people farther from the stage. Those closer up can use their phone to see the effects from their view angle.

I 1000% recommend watching the World’s Ceremonies for League starting from the year 2014. Every one is so good

It's always nice to see people as hyped for the finals.. New Jeans music video of Gods is great as well.. Without any doubt in my mind the most hyped I ever been for the Ceremony since FNTIC were playing... but no song even comes close to how hard it was to NOT scream out in joy when a special Demon King got to hold the price again!! I will always root for MY team, but heck... I respect how good he's at playing. The special efects are called augmented reality.. They see it on the screens and with using phone aps with their cameras live.

Ohhh you should check out Rise! It's the theme song (like Gods) for the Worlds 2020 and it's the most ICONIC song theme for the Worlds.

the song title is "Rise". One of my favorite song in league of legends. Original is more fast and longer than ceremony sing.

Chrissy Costanza was live on 2 of opening ceremonies (2017 - song: "Legends Never Die" and 2019 - song: "Phoenix"), also K/DA live opening ceremony was 2018.

2019 and 2022 had viewable holograms, it was amazing

Hey there :D Not sure if you have seen this or are even aware of this, but Riot made a banger for TFT ("Teamfight Tactics", it's their strategy auto battle game using the same champions as normal League does). It's called Remix Rumble ft. Aoki and I absolutely love it!

As far as I know, the crowd don't see the effects live but on screens. 2019 was the only time they used a tech that crowd could see live

yeah there was a lot of effort and a LOT of people.. bc we all wanted our king to get his throne back. And he did! People usually say league is dying but every year they break views records, theres millions and millions of people that watch pro play even without playing the game bc of the quality of content.

Besides AOT, I'm glad to see some league of legends stuff as well, they are putting a lot of efforts into their works.

u should definitly check out the past worlds opening ceremonies, us league players have been eating so well for so long from riot games, ever since 2012 things have progressed so much

They are using augmented reality (AR) tech. People watching on screen can see these CGI characters. But if you are there live, you won't be seeing the characters on stage unless you look at the screen.

Just a advice! its always better if you want to experience league of legends at its best start from the start!! like first see the previous opening ceremonies and sons!

Oh boy. Oh boy boy . If you think this was the best you have not seen the other opening ceremony for Leauge/Valorant.. Anything after 2022 is let's just say average to trash level ( This year was a improvement) So recommend you do 2017 onwards opening ceremonys from Leauge/Riot games to appreciate the good things.

Since you enjoy the Gods song so much you should look up Deft's story that is featured in the Gods original video.

you think their music is amazing you should look into the lore. there is a youtuber called necrit who is the lore king for league and he allows reaction as he see it as sending new eyes to his channel but he has two awesome videos Story of League of Legends Explained then the world of riots mmo is already done. Both go into some awesome lore stuff.

League of legends casters actually made real music videos, most of them are rap battles though.
