VoicePlay is taking the whole month of July off. We will be getting videos and shorts that they have in the queue that will drop during the month while they are all on well deserved vacations.

Yes, Cesar is such a ham in this; as is Layne! They all are so fun throughout. VoicePlay do seem to be masters of tempo, and do love to toss in a flavor of dubstep if possible. It's such a fun video to rewatch!

I love the carrot Easter egg , it’s hard to miss but when Layne has the book you can see the flames are orange but also shows green , so for just a second you can make out the coloring of a carrot 😂

This was an excellent reaction! "Snapped" is an excellent description of Rachel's mood. LOL

Yeah, it was Layne (not Geoff) and Rachel’s voices but a bit distorted to make it sound different since it was coming out of Cesar. 😂 Tye chant was just nonsense Layne made up.

When Cesar is 'stealing' the voices, it's actually Layne, not Geoff, whonis doing the low parts. Few reactors have picked out that. Of course it's Cesar that's doing the most mischief, as well as actually dancing at CanCan. Hope your new computercwill bring you joy. Happy belated Birthday.🎉

Happy birthday! Dance of the Hours (with the hippos ballet dancing) and Night on Bald Mountain were showcased in the 1st Fantasia. Love when Cesar steals the voices. Also love having Rachel back.

The Bach Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, which starts the chaos, is also in Fantasia.

I still love this one. So much going on. The others were really testing Rachel's patience in this one. Great arrangement by Layne. Excellent work by the rest of them, as always

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but after watching this a few times, I think the storyline is this: this is a book for ADVANCED conjuring, not to be taken on by amateurs. Eli ignores that and starts off, summoning all these troublemakers, but also Rachel. Rachel knows what she’s doing, but the rest of the guys are to varying degrees enthusiastic, mischievous and trouble-making devils. So they keep swiping the book and trying different things, and she’s trying her best to keep a lid on it before they do real damage. She gets a little panicky when they start in on the Can Can and you see the magical fireworks flying all over, but she manages to snatch the book back and you see it all get sucked back into the fire. Eventually, after putting the fear of God in them (Night On Bald Mountain) she gets control and gets it all sorted and she sends everybody back where they belong. Anyway, great reaction!!

I think that's pretty accurate. But Eli realized before the end that they were in trouble because the last page was missing and the book said Bad Things Would Happen, and he was trying really hard to warn the others, but they weren't paying any attention. Poor guy, it took him quite some time to figure out how to break them out of wherever they got banished to last time. 😆

@@DTA-Music LOL. Yeah, you can see he’s panicked-and I love the smug look on her face when she pulls that page out and sends them off to time out again.

Elizabeth Zharoff (The Charismatic Voice) has a great interview with Layne called "The Art of Classical Chaos" about how he arranged the piece using ProTools (all 120+ tracks that he needed to put this one together). It's a very informative and interesting look into the mechanics of how the tunes are arranged and assembled. I think you'd enjoy it.

Layne's horns are also green instead of orange as in Hall of the Mountain King. Geoff's horns are shorter, too. They used the famous "Wilhelm scream" for Eli's hand-squish. Layne does the growl. Mortius has the chant word in his reaction of this.

Pretty sure the chant is either gibberish or a conlang, probably the former. I've got it as, roughly, "Ha, ehta, koli, ehmo naytole ka, ohni, ehtaeh koeh lakelate, ha, ehta, kole, ehmo naytole ka," more or less. This sounds absolutely nothing like Latin. If it is a natural language at all, it's *not* Indo-European, or Semitic, Turkic, Dravidian, Bantu, or San. It's vaguely plausible that it could be Austronesian, but Occam's Razor suggests I'm probably grasping at straws with that. It does remind me of Toki Pona, both in terms of the phonemic inventory and syllable structure, and also in terms of the apparently rather uniform word length; but Toki Pona is so obscure, it's unlikely anyone in VoicePlay has ever heard of it, unless they randomly happened to read Sanda and Woo *and* be interested in cryptanalysis, which is a stretch. I find it far more likely that they just made up random syllables with the sound they wanted.

257 / 5 000 Hello, greetings from the Czech Republic. 😉 You asked for words. Right at the beginning they sing HA I TA KU LÉ. I don't know more. One reaction channel had those words written over the video, but I can't find it :-(. And by the way... Great reaction :-) ... Goole is responsible for the translation 👍👍👍
