It's what we expected.. EXCEPT, wasn't expecting Mark from Death Angel. That surprised me. And he did a fantastic job. Only quibble is NAME THE BAND Call your self King Slayer or something. In any case, I fucking loved it.

The instant a metal head says “pretty much what I expected”, I know forsure that any honest attempt at objective listening has flown out the window. If this was a new band that released this, it would be the talk of the town.

Really? I feel like if this was a new band, not many people would care at all, and Kerry's name is bringing the popularity, which is fair, he's worked hard at this his whole life and made a name for himself. I think the song is good but not as good as classic Slayer and I personally just listen to more extreme stuff these days so the thrash style just isn't my focus. I still enjoy it though :)

It sounds great, band is awesome, and God why do people cry about his solos??? I think the solos in this song are great, especially towards the end of the song, ever extreme metal band nowdays has some guy playing fast arpeggios and sweep picking, and it all sounds the same, at least with this, you know who it is, and it fits the song

I went in, not wanting to like it, but I liked it quite a bit. I think it sounded tight as fuck, but I sure wish he would pay a little more attention to the lead. I kno a couple missed notes is a staple of his. I just wish he didn’t.

I guarantee you, any real slayer fan, need Slayer in many ways no one does. Slayer is therapy for us and keeps us sane. Life has been not hearing New slayer or being. Abke to fet to the slayer pit and heal. There isnt a single Slayer fan(real) fans that will not welcome this record or not at least appreciate it. You are not a slayer fan if you dont at least appreciate the song of not like it. We dont care who likes it from the outside. Slayer is for slayer fans and this record is a Slayer record. King is only respecting the wishes of others by not even just taking the name and continuing with it. This is Kerry king's Slayer. He deserves it

That's just it right. Clearly this is what the man enjoys doing, so he should continue to do so. I've been creating music for years out of passion. Like anyone, you'll always get haters and supporters. Just gotta keep true to yourself and I will ALWAYS give someone credit for "doing" rather than "talking". 🤘🏻

It's okay. Generic thrash riffs and atonal wah and wailing, typical of Kerry. Vocals are pretty good. Bostaph is a very competent skin hitter 👌

I'm excited for the album good choice with the vocalist..but this feels like a b side from the last album pretty stock riffing bland overall but I think there's going too be much better on the album

This song is really separating people who love good, interesting metal from easy-to-please knuckleheads who only care if something is “heavy.” 😄 It’s as generic as it gets in terms of both songwriting and production. The world doesn’t need another watered-down Slayer knockoff.
