This is Japan. They are respectful of the artist and they know the song well, so they know when to shut up and when to sing. Also, in Asia, fandoms are a different kind of animal. They are organized, they hand out fan chants for songs, that people practice at home. OOR also teaches the crowd when they perform a song for the first time, you can see that in paper planes 35xxxv saitama super arena video. That's also one performance you should check out. Taka adlibs a lot there, so you can absolutely see that he is singing live, his mastery of crowd control is INSANE and you can also see him play the drums. :)
I saw them in the USA in 2022 in a much, much smaller venue, and the energy and the love the fans have for this band is out of this world. It is an epic experience. It's almost like being transported to a different dimension. The control this band has over the crowd is impressive. I have never seen a live band with this much charisma. They love what they do, and it shows. They are perfection together. I still recommend Mighty Long Fall, both acoustic and live. ❤❤❤
Thanks for your reaction 😊 ONE OK ROCK is such a good band, like many other japanese bands 😉 Please react to their song "We Are", the live version from the Dome tour.
Watching One ok Rock live is always like a religious experience for me. My soul seems to respond to all the emotions I feel when watching them. They are truly gifted and Taka's vocals are so full of emotions and passion which is usually hard for someone signing in their second language to convey usually but Taka can swap in and out of the different languages without loosing any of the emotions he's trying to share with us. So much so that you can feel it through the screen. I can only imagine what it feels like to be there.
Thanks for your reaction! Next I’d recommend "We Are" (Ambitions Japanese dome tour), "The Beginning" (Eye of the Storm tour, and "I Was King" (Orchestra Japan tour)
Ive been to their concert 2 times now and I can tell you one thing. What you see on screen, its like that in the actual concert. One ok rock is the only concert I wanna keep going and going because its that great.
Request we are (18 fes) the first couple of minutes are the announcer describes how the song is done. The audience is only 1000 18 years old. The song is awsome you will like it, please
It’s said the long pause was in respect to Chester Bennington. One Ok Rock ass supposed to go on tour with Linkin Park and then, well we know what happened to Chester. So, that long pause was for something, it was a tribute to his friend, Chester.
One Ok Rock has created songs with many different genres and approaches. You guys just need to write down the suggestions in the comments, write specifically the venue and the year, and you'll find that they are a really versatile band
Bro it really is okay to have some doubt at first, i did the same back then, i need to watch at least 5-6 live performances to be sure, and accepted the fact after watched a fancam, realll fancam which recorded by phones😂 What is the acapella song that you watched? Heartache, Your Tears Are Mine, Vandalize? If not yet, watch them! Waiting for more ONE OK ROCK! Thank you!
This song was written when Taka's parents where getting divorced; The moment of silence was for Chester (Lincoln Park). So yeah this song holds a lot of emotion with it.
To be honest, these guys' official live videos, like those of all artists from the last forty years, have varying levels of post-production, and pre-recorded tracks, from light to intensive. Their 2014 Yokohama Stadium concert is probably the one that has the best balance between truly exciting performance and post-production-free sound.😎
Thank you for your incredible reaction. Idk where you're located, but they're actually doing a tour this year and going to LA and Ontario. There' still tickets fairly cheap on sale for LA. It's such an incredible experience seeing them live. I hope you can experience it for yourselves one day. Can't wait to see more One Ok Rock reactions!
The silence was actual for Chester Bennington Taka was his good friend and the guys were supposed to perform with him after this tour but he passed. They have sooo many different sounds and genres, seriously you can't go wrong with any song just go down the list when you look them up
No it was not. Sorry but this is a false rumor started by someone that's spread like wildfire in RU-vid comments. They've been doing the silence since before Chester passed. He died while they were on tour and they replaced "Hard to Love" with a cover of "One More Light." That was their tribute to him, not the silence which is purely a creative choice and was being used utilized before Chester's passing.
I've been an OK Rock fan for ten years. One of my two favorite Japanese bands (worldwide, actually), coupled with Band Maid. Other great Japanese bands include, Wagakki, Doll$boxx, Gacharic Spin and Hanabee. All of which are best live, every time. Try the live cut of XXXV with Take it to the Top.
