Someone else mentioned that Freddie Mercury had a diploma. So I'm not really sure which qualification is true in Freddie's case - a diploma or a degree.

Might want to add "in my opinion". Too many good songs out there to say it was the greatest. Some of those Beatles songs my be in there, perhaps The Stones, or The Who as well, but I will agree it is one of the greats.
Fun fact, radio stations were afraid to air this because they said no one would stick around for songs longer than around 3 minutes. This song literally blew up on the radio and made longer songs elegible for radio play. It paved the way for radio play for long songs.

‘Somebody to Love’ live from Montreal in 1981. If you thought Bohemian Rhapsody was so good, you might find that this is even better. Queen are almost unique in that their ‘live’ performances are often better than the studio versions. This is true of Bohemian Rhapsody too but please react to that Queen song from Montreal, I know you’ll love it. Best wishes 👍

Great reaction girls. I was 17 years old in 1975 when this was released to the world. Almost 50 years later & I still head bang to the rock section. Enjoy your Queen journey if you decide to jump onboard.
One of the all time great songs in pop music history but greatest song ever written? There's this other band called The Beatles, perhaps you've heard of them? You might want to check them out. Nobody's ever done it better! You two strike me as mother and daughter. Very nice dynamic between you two and very attractive.

Brilliant structure , and very professional work to all the band... For my top best songs ever ... The apotheosis of jazz harmonies and chromatic step bass lines ! Queen at their best !

@@ReactionRetreat One other thing you may not know about Brian May is he earned his PhD in astrophysics in 2007 some 37 years after he postponed his studies to do Queen full time.
Loved watching your reactions! An amazing song. When first recorded, the recording studio didn't want it on the album. This is one of the most popular songs played in the US still today.
In case you don't know ... Freddie the lead singer was born to Parsi Indian parents in Zanzibar. He and his family then moved to the UK when he was 18ish. The meaning of this song was never shared by the band but to me it always felt a bit like Freddie singing how it felt for him discovering the new life and be feelings when he moved to Western culture and how it was initially a struggle for his family to accept his choices (mudic, love, art and much more). His family I guess wanted him to cling to their Islamic beliefs, his mom wanted him to stay, but he felt he had to go and "kill the man" they expected him to be. Just my opinion 👍🏼

Yes Ladies it is a Masterpiece and never grows old, you have officially been queened enjoy the journey they have many hits. Check out their Wembley Stadium concert Freddie had the crowd rapt around his finger. I am Australian so would lave you to listen to some Aussie bands like INXS, they also did a concert at Wembley listen to songs from that concert including New Sensation, Disappear and Never Tear us Apart, the whole huge Crowd was jumping. You could also listen to some ACDC, songs such as Back in Black, For Those About to Rock, Let There Be Rock, TNT and Hells Bells. Thankyou and keep up the great work.
I remember seeing them at concerts starting. in the late 70s until Freddie finally got too sick ti play. Absolutely a must for rockers back then to have stored in their few remaining. Brain cells

a little background about the video. music videos existed before this, but it proved impossible at the time to perform live, so they spent three hours in a studio putting this together, and basically invented the concept of the music video as an art form. also, check out the 20 minute set they did for Live Aid in 1985, only 5 songs for a charity event, but it's widely regarded as their best ever live performance
My mother liked that song when dhe was young and came out, I love it because it is a masterpiece of showmanship and music alike. ))) I sang along all the parts even the guitar solo, because Queen is a big part of my live and musical development. Queen will always be there, even after we will be gone, as Freddie went away and left a legacy for the ages. )))
Bohemian Rhapsody was great and much beloved when it came out Then years later "Wayne's World" came out and it took on a second life Now, with RU-vid and reaction videos it has come back around again. Basically a timeless song! Love your reaction!
Ok this made my day watching 2 girls from Nepal react to Bohemian Rhapsody and start headbanging at the same part that no matter where you live and if you have heard queen you headbang on that part... you just cant help it
A long, "weird" song that probably shouldn't have worked, but never underestimate the raw charisma of Mr Freddie Mercury. I saw a video where the whole crowd, while waiting for a Green Day show, sang the whole thing. Made me happy. Great job, ladies! 🤘🤘
There is a video of a green Day concert on here at Hyde park when before the show starts the whole crowd and I mean the whole crowd sang bohemian rhapsody with Freddie conducting from heaven
The best concert i’ve ever saw live was Queen at (the old) Wembley Stadium in London @LiveAid with 200.000 people going crazy (me included)…. That was 40min of epic and history making in music…. 🌹 Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 🙏🏾👋🏾👊🏾🖖🏾
Freddie Mercury was was truly one of a kind singer and character. So, so gifted. Sometimes I amuse myself thinking, what could have been, if Nightwish's Floor and Queen's Freddie would have been able to sing duetto together.

He still lives in every Queen fan in the world within our hearts and minds.
