HUGE thank you to everyone for joining me this week with a FULL WEEK of Rammstein! So much love and honestly the experience of listening with you all is so damn special to me. I tend to connect memories with music..For example: a song might trigger a happy or sad memory or take me back to where I was when I first heard it. Hearing them say "this last path you'll have to go alone" broke my heart. Rammstein has been together since 1994, so knowing they have impacted sooo many lives since then made me sad for how everyone must have felt hearing that for the first time. Rammstein was probably there for you during all the different stages in your life and that is such a powerful, and beautiful thing. I hope this is not an end of an era. Forever grateful for this RU-vid channel and all of you for showing me Rammstein. They have changed me for the better, and I am so excited to hear even more and dive deeper into older albums. Love you all so much! ❤

Thank you so much I been loving your videos, I been a big fan of RAMMSTEIN for a really long time now from back in 98 I think, I was really young but his voice and rawness strength I was captivated, but when I listened to this album was a rollercoaster of emotions I had so many expectations with ZEIT because I always loved the ballads of each album so the idea of them putting it as a single was amazing, but I was having a hard time with the rest of the album, until a saw your reaction and made me realize how I used to see them as a new fan and help me experience the album with new eyes, so thank you so much once again.

Hi Aileen One of your first Rammstein reactions brought me to your channel and I loved it. This was my reason to subscribe to your channel. Since then I am your fan I love your reactions and analysises. I hope Adieu was not there last song and Zeit not the last album. In my opinion it is the best album from Rammstein and it would be a shame if a band so talented would stop creating music.

first of all: thanks for reacting to all those songs and uploading that content on youtube. you look like a cool cat and got your heart in the right spot. i'm curious about a) your reactions to older rammstein songs b) perhaps other german bands like "die ärzte" or "die toten hosen" which isnt considered as metal but more as punk/rock kind of music, c) how your german will evolve over the next few weeks [like i said, hit me up if theres stuff you gotta ask] and d) what your reactions will be, after you get to make your first live experience with rammstein in concert. i've seen them 3 times live, which is kind of easy to pull off, as a german. secondly - as far as the song or the album goes... only time will tell, if this will be the last chapter of rammstein or not. it could be the case. the band is approaching their 60s here soon, and all that creative processes, whether its the writing, the composing, coming up with the controversial topics, the stage sets and live performances can be quite exhausting for a band. and who knows, maybe they all learned to cherish their lives during that 2 year pandemic and they say "its time to go out with a bang now and enjoy our last stages of our lives with our families" - who knows. i mean, there are bad examples of bands who cant let go and are quite painful to watch, if we talk about genesis/phil collins for example, who had to sit in a chair during his last concert. but like i said - maybe i am wrong, and all the media who reported that this could be rammsteins final act are wrong too - because no matter how stressful the life on the road is, the audience and that feeling is what fuels them too. seeing someone leave forever is heartbreaking, i know that from experience, regardless if its a long lasting tv series that had to come to an end or bands, actors (like bruce willis for example) or people from the sports industry, specially those you grew up with or looked up to as a kid or young adult. its difficult at first, but we gonna make it through. never forget: the lessons that we learn from pain, are the ones that make us the strongest.

Not the end of Rammstein. This is the companion piece to the first song "Armee der Tristen". The album opens with them saying "come with us, you are not alone". And ends with "we must part ways again, but we will always be with you, goodbye". The Whole album is about time (zeit) in one way or another. And as listeners even we are spending our time with them.

There being multiple intepretations of this song doesn’t contradict the possibility of it also being their last album, like at all. Multiple meanings and contexts is just standard praxis for Rammstein.

But there's a possibility it's gonna be the end of Rammstein, the whole introduction and ending might not be about the album, might be about them, all that I personally understood about the album was they telling and remembering us their whole marvelous journey and how they and us mutually enjoyed this path

They old as fuck and made 8 albums for 28 years. What u expect? Here in Europe we see that whole existence is changing on theese days. We need wake up or die some cruel historical rupture is coming. Best analysis of rammstein phenomen was made by Slavoi Jijek btw

@@kre_dopeprod.3766 Huh, Slavoij Zizek couldn't be more wrong, even I respect some of his views political analysis. But with his babbling about Rammstein, he failed badly. Maybe he doesn't like "Pussy". And what's wrong with being 58 (Till)? I mean do you know bands like the Stones and all the legendary bands from the US, how old they are? Producing such a masterpiece of a album is not a indication of having a "old" and unworldly mind. All the allusions of being allegdly right-wing is a load of bs. And what's that thing with Europe? You have to be specific! No one can read minds when someone is so vague like you. Sorry, but your comment is worth nothing. Greetings from a German socialist who's Rammstein fan since the beginning. And I'm not a gullible person who can't think for himself, or one who adopts an opinion just because some "authority" like Zizek says something. Being a skeptic, critical about people and the world, is a good thing for me. Try it yourself without being gullible to what's being said because you don't like the band, it's called being biased! "Adieu" has a stronger meaning in French. If we want to say goodbye, it would be more "au revoir" -> "See you soon". If you say "Adieu" to someone, it would imply "We won't see each other anymore" , which fits really well as an end song for "Zeit".

Hi I’m so glad you have found Rammstein…. I found them in 1997 and I’ve been listening to them properly since 2000…. I have always found their music so wonderful.. every album has hit after hit and even the lesser/not better known songs are utterly sublime…. The last two albums (this one included) shows a lot of maturity in the bad and looking back over life…. This is probably the best last track of an album they have produced….. It’s so full of sadness and also hope …. Yea it made me cry (I’m male and I’m not afraid to cry) I recently seen them in the U.K. (I’ve seen them at least 6 times) and the stage show is always awe inspiring … This track is typical classic Rammstein and reminds me of songs from Sehnsucht.. also musically I hear elements of Metallica and T-Tex in this song … This along with Onhe Dich, Dalai Lama , Engle, Rosenrot and Hallelujah (to name a few) just show the versatility of this superb band… Loving the channel…..🎉

I feel at first glance they would be a very easy band to just write off to someone who isn't into them. But when you look at their work there is so much meaning and intention in everything they do. They are pure artists, the pyrotechnics aren't just a cheap trick, they are a part of their art form. I finally got to see them this year in Minneapolis and it was an experience, it wasn't just a run of the mill metal show. It was an experience like no other. This album is a masterpiece and this song, along with "Zeit", is the culmination of a lifetime's work. Even though "Adieu" sounds like an end, I'm positive that Rammstein don't mean the end of the band. Let's hope for the best.

Hi Aileen, you have one more German fan and subscriber. Thank you for your honest reviews, which one can see how the total work of art Rammstein gets under your skin. I don't know your nationality, but it's quite extraordinary to deal with this special German national art anyway. It is not always easy to understand individual passages of text, which really only people understand correctly, who grew up in the GDR. I am the same age as the Rammstein members and also grew up in the GDR, so I can understand many statements in the lyrics very well. Besides, most of the topics that Rammstein deals with in the lyrics are rooted in the abysses in our society. This is not a perfect world, but it is just the way it is. You absolutely have to see Rammstein live, only then the total work of art unfolds, the show, the sound, the explosions and the heat of the flames, which almost scorches your eyebrows. By the way, I am also a big Tool fan, I saw Tool 4 weeks ago in Frankfurt. If you have any questions, please ask. Mario/Germany

Only just now found the faith to watch your reactions to the last two songs of Zeit and i kind of get your worries. I was born 92 and Rammstein was present in my life since i can remember and became my favorite band with the release of the Mutter album with Sonne as my favorite song. So Rammstein is my favorite band now for 21 years or so and for some years my only link into music. But eventhough the album really feels like a farewell by the band, i have learned to not worry too much about their artistic output, since whenever they took a step away from the band they just grew closer to each other and a lot of the fans (including me) too. Even if they would stop making music as Rammstein now, they gave me enough to take on whats still ahead.

Richard has a sideline project in between Rammstein and when he is back at home in New York (which I'm starting to feel is now much more than a sideline project) called Emigrate. He is the lead singer in the band and one of the guitarist, one would never tell he is a native German speaker, never knew he was so efluent in English. Anyways, it is worth checking them out as well. Till even makes apperances on some songs. Richard and Till does a mind-blowing cover of "Always on my mind", be sure to check that out

I’m anticipating your reactions from their previous Untitled album from 3 years ago and some of its songs like Hollomann and Auslander I must mention on a sentimental note relating to this video I have left out Zeit and Adieu from my playlist because listening to these 2 songs make me cry even when I’m driving and I don’t want to feel they’re leaving us even if it’s NOT their swansong

My dad was also a big fan of Rammstein and he even bought their previous album in his seventies. Last year he passed away and ending the ceremony I chose to have Ohne Dich. But if this song would have been out, it would have been THE choice, no doubt. Ohne Dich is still a very good song, symbolizing the very good bond we had. But this song is so much stronger when saying goodbye to someone you love and lost. And I am sure my dad would have agreed. Still miss him every day and hearing these songs still bring tears to my eyes. Love your emotions in the videos, saw most of your Rammstein ones. You seem like a very nice woman, not afraid to show what you feel. Never apologize for tears if they are genuine. ❤️

This is my favorite song from Zeit, bar none. It's simply a masterpiece. I don't think this is the end of Rammstein. From what I've read, it wasn't even a planned album. They were about to go on tour after their last album but it got put on hold due to the pandemic, and they recorded a new album while they were unable to go on the road. Even though a lot of the songs are about death, and time in general passing so harshly by us, I see that as more of a consequence of all of us having lived through the pandemic. Death was most likely something that was very much on their mind, as it has been on all of us recently. I think all of us have felt that time has kind of stood still these last few years. Or maybe the opposite - that it has rushed past us while we've stood still ourselves, locked in and locked away from so much of what makes living *fun*. That is my takeaway from the album, and from Adieu itself. That being said, if they were to end now...wow. What a way to bookend a 30-year career. By making one of the very best albums of all time, and possibly the best album in their own catalog. It'll be hard to top. Which is exactly why I don't want this to be the end. I want to see them top this. Fun fact: when I first saw the title of this song, I was a little confused since they had a song called "Adios" on the album "Mutter". But no, they are very different songs. Btw, I find it a little bit fascinating that the band member whose contribution stands out the most in a heavy metal band is the keyboardist. I agree that Flake has been absolutely amazing during this record. He has elevated so many songs with his keyboards. Obviously he's been a valued member since the start but there's just something about him getting that recognition that makes me really happy. It's not often that the keyboard player gets solo'd out as one of the most defining members of a hard rock band's sound, yet on this album (even more than any before), it has been completely justified. He's been amazing throughout. Btw #2: Rammstein has actually done a song entirely in Spanish: "Te quiero puta!,” on the album "Rosenrot". You know, if you're interested. Since you said you speak Spanish.

I am a Rammstein fan for most of my life and the way i learned to know them, i really dont think this song is meant as a goodbye to their fans. every new album is pretty hard for them to work on since everyone of them has their own perspectives and other opinions. also every member is treated equally in the band. so its very hard for them to produce something everyone is pleased with. and they also dont start to work on a new album, if someone doesnt feel like it. after the works on 2009s album liebe ist für alle da, one of them (dont remember who) said in an interview, that it might be the last album. so i think the members of rammstein dont know for themselves, if there will be more new music in the future. and with that in mind, it also doesnt feel like a thing rammstein would do, to say goodbye to the fans with a song, except there is another reason behind it.

I feel the same like you and a lot of other people. Rammstein is a part of my life since 1994 as I found the song Asche zu Asche on a sampler. On this day I felt in love till today. Here in Germany we say "Man sollte aufhören wenn es am schönsten ist" and I have the feeling that this is the end of Rammstein. It sounds serious when Till sing "Kein Wunder wird geschehen". Damn..... When this is the end..... I'm just thankful. Let's see what will happen in the future. But at the moment I'm happy and very sad at the time.

Lifetime fan here. "Sehnsucht" for me is their absolute best album, and if you love "Giftig", the first two albums are for you. In the song "Bestrafe mich" (Punish me) Till goes extremely low with his voice. It's a must listen! Flake's work on Sehnsucht is just incredible too. A lot of people say "Mutter", but I think you would enjoy the heaviness of Sehnsucht. And: Based on your reactions, I really think you would enjoy their album "Rosenrot," with many good ballads. Many people say it's Rammsteins worst, but I think it's really overlooked. "Spring," "Wo bist do" and "Hilf mir" are great and reminds a lot of the slow songs of this album.

I love how much you like Rammstein, you are a very authentic reactor and seem like a wonderful person. I haven't heard the lyrics translated before, so I experienced it with you for the first time. I interpreted this song as not them saying goodbye to the fans or that this will be the last album. My initial thoughts were that they are talking about death in general and how we all got to go alone, on our last path. And it makes sense putting this song last on the album, because the album is called Zeit (time) and death is the end of time, in a sense. Hope you react to their self-titled album, released in 2019. That was also a really good album. Their best album is still Mutter in my opinion though, but they have so many great albums it's hard to pick one.

I always saw this song as more of a temporary goodbye from a friend and also a pat on the back after 2 years of people being isolated and somewhat alienated by the pandemic. We had to walk the path alone when we were in lock down, but our loved ones were still put there holding onto hope. So once again I feel it's their way of saying, "we've been through a lot and we underrated it's sucked, but we're still here."
