I love the way Ms. Jordan can transport us to the remembrances of the past, but let's not forget that this young living legend is a contemporary, a masterclass artist that is continuing to experiment with tone and technique to create a newness in music, that will dominate world music for decades to come. It will be Ms. Jordan's creativity in lyricism and musicality, that will captivate the world in the coming years, to make her name synonymous with greatness. Rb

Your reaction was so visual - no words needed. This performance was a tribute to a lady held in prison for her views on human rights. There is little hope that she will ever be freed, unable to see her husband and children. This song is so appropriate and delivered in such a respectful way. I hope that you will continue to react to songs by Angelina, I will be waiting to listen....

The parallels to Ms. Callas are uncanny. However in Ms. Jordan's case she is the true unicorn. No one in the musical world that has graced this world, has effected so many and compelled them to be better to themselves and others, just by the force of being.
