Dr. Frankenstein was the one who created Frankenstein's monster w/ the body parts of the deceased... 'Dr. Stein' was a comedic take on that horror story 'Frankenstein' by Mary Shelley.

Helloween fan here since 1989 and so happy that I am going to see them live again in october here in Brazil.

The bald singer (Michael Kiske) is one of the best metal singers of all time.

Helloween is a criminally underrated band. I just listened to Keeper of the seven keys legacy and the the 2021 self titled album, Great stuff,

I know people are going to recommend you listen to the live version of their song "Halloween". Save it for Halloween. You won't be disappointed. Helloween is one of those really important bands in the Power Metal genre. One of those bands that took what came before them and took it to the next level and then everyone afterwards was influenced by them in some way. Basically it goes: Rainbow, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Helloween, King Diamond, Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Rhapsody of Fire, Dragonforce and after that we've basically been living in an era of bands that's just taking all that and putting it into a blender, but for big leaps forward from the 70s to the 00s it basically goes in that order.

Helloween are the KINGS of speed and power metal!

Great band. They are technical but also they have such a feeling. They are awesome live and also great human beings! I'm going to see them live in one month

This is a reunion concert with some of the former members. That's why there are two vocalists - the former Michael Kiske(the bald guy) and the current Andi Deris.

Dr Stein is a loose comedic take on the popular Dr (Victor von) Frankenstein (mad scientist and experimenter), but now that you mention Einstein, I would not be surprised to learn a bit of him was fused into this character as well... maybe Dr Stein's full name is Dr Frank Ein Stein, lol.

other great Helloween songs : We got the right, I want out, not much Helloween videos really, some nice ones, but the sound quality is usually much infierior to the studio ones ; also I find it better for old songs to have only Michael Kiske (bald singer) that did the first Helloween albums

Hello young lady. I was not sure if you had reviewed Billy Idols, Rebel Yell. I did not see it. I watched him in concert in 1989. Yes he and I are both getting older. It was a great concert and I have seen…..several. It was fun and the bands style, etc. So cool. When you see the video? You are at the concert in 1989 with the rest of us. The video is just the same as the concert. I watch you react to certain beats etc….I think you will love it. Billy Idol. Rebel yell, official video….Please😊

Hey there, you said you want to do more helloween, well a year has passed :-) Let's bring it up again A long classic? Then do keeper of the seven keys of the pumpkin united live shows. It's the ultimate helloween experience and legendary song. IF you wnat to keep it shorter but more fun then Perfect Gentleman live would be cool, or for ballads do forever and one or a tale that wasn't right. Any of them live are great especially the newer ones because all of their singers are sharing the stage in most of these.

Helloween were considered the German version of Iron Maiden back in the 80's... they were once managed by Iron Maiden's managers. It was sad that they became popular, only to fall in the early 90's to label problems... bad albums and fell in popularity to the 90's grunge era. But they still persisted and are now back doing what they are best at - heavy metal music 🤘🤘🔥🔥 It was also a good surprise that both of Helloween's singers, Andi Deris and the classic 80's singer Michael Kiske became best friends offstage, once the band reunited. Originally, Helloween was fronted by guitarist Kai Hansen, who did the vocals for the early records... Then, Michael Kiske (vocals) joined in 1987 w/ the line-up of Kai Hansen and Michael Weikath (guitars), Markus Grosskopf (bass) and Ingo Schwichtenberg (drums) and recorded the famous 2-part albums 'Keeper of the seven keys'... But in 1990, Kai Hansen left the band due to creative differences and formed his own band Gamma Ray. Guitarist Roland Grapow replaced Hansen, but the subsequent 2 albums had deviated away from heavy metal and sold poorly... In 1993, singer Michael Kiske was fired, and drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg left the band... Tragically, Ingo Schwichtenberg took his own life in 1995. In 1994, Helloween was reborn w/ the addition of vocalist Andi Deris and drummer Uli Kusch for the 'Master of the rings' album, marking a return to heavy metal... but the albums did not enjoy the sales peak of their 80's records. After 3 more albums ('The time of the oath' in 1996, 'Better than raw' in 1998 and 'The dark ride' in 2000) as well as a covers album 'Metal jukebox'... guitarist Michael Weikath was on the verge of leaving Helloween in 2001... The decision was made to fire both Roland Grapow and Uli Kusch instead. Grapow formed his own band Masterplan. In 2003, Helloween emerged w/ more vigor, hiring Sascha Gerstner (guitar) for the "Rabbit don't come easy" album... Dani Loble (drums) joined as Helloween issued an all-new double album in 2005 as 'Keeper of the Seven keys - The Legacy' album... Helloween kept recording and touring into 2016... Then in 2017, the long-awaited reunion finally came about w/ both classic vocalist Michael Kiske and original guitarist Kai Hansen reuniting w/ Helloween for the 'Pumpkins united' single... then recorded a full self-titled Helloween album in 2021. Other Helloween classics - 'Future world' ... 'Eagle fly free'... 'Halloween' (unedited version)... 'Sole survivor'... 'Forever and one (Neverland)'... 'Hey Lord' ... I can'... 'Mr. Torture'... 'Open your life'... 'Best time'... 🤘🤘🔥🔥

I am surprised they pronounce it "Steen". The spelling, according to German grammar, indicates the proper pronunciation is "Styne" (long I vowel sound). Being a German band, they should have known that, lol. Or maybe they intended it to be "Stien" but a typo messed it all up?
