Mo and Joe were the best. Back in the late 70s early 80s you couldn't turn on the radio without one of their songs coming on. Each had great songs alone. Where's the dress, holding the bag are other great songs for this duo.
I used to sing this with my best friend at karaoke - neither one of us had reached the rowdiness of Moe and Joe, but we had our moments. He passed away three years ago and I miss him every day. This song always reminds me of him. Rest well, pardner.
How ironic! This song was just on the radio earlier and I thought, "I don't think I've ever seen a reaction video to this. That'd be awesome." And here it is!
If you want to watch something crazy & funny. You have to watch the official music video of their song, "Where's the dress" You will die laughing. The only thing I will tell you is that Boy George was very popular in rock/pop at this time.
I agree with the other commenter these guys are great solo but a bunch of funny crazy guys together. Moe was the more laid back of the two. There is the now infamous 'Where's the Dress?' Boy George was mentioned in the song and was offended. He sued the two entertainers and won. I think that was the end of 'Moe & Joe.'
Thanks for the reaction of Moe and Joe. They have a lot of other great songs. Please check out "Bandy the Rodeo Clown" and "Cowboys Ain't Supposed to Cry" by Moe Bandy.
Here's some more Moe Bandy songs: It's A Cheating Situation, I Just Started Hating Cheating Songs, (Till I'm) Too Old To Die Young, Someday Soon, Barstool Mountain and so many more.
Tasha, no, that's not me, but my dad and uncles and his friends in the 70s did he spent a lot of nights in county jails, but he only acted up when he got drunk lol
Moe Bandy said it all got started when they met in England at a music festival when Joe suggested that since their names and looks were similar after this so g they stuck with the good ole boys
