The tail gunner of the Ye Olde Pub who was killed, had been collecting chocolate that he was planning to give out to English children on Christmas Eve since, due to rationing, many of them hadn't had any in years.

When Franz Stigler was a flight instructor he had a student who he was going to fail, but eventually got him to be better. That student was Gerhard Barkhorn, the second most successful fighter ace of all time, after Erich Hartmann and one of only two fighter pilots to achieve over 300 aerial victories.

And not just that, but it was a duel in the highest altitude a plane ever shot at another plane. A German ultra-high altitude, diesel-powered bomber over Britain, and a British (Russian nobleman emigrant) pilot in a heavily modified Spitfire. Both survived and after WW2 became friends (33 years later).

Just wanted to let you know, that Sabaton is apparently currently working on a history episode for a yet unreleased song. Maybe, just maybe, they will also finally do the history episodes for their last album while they're at it. Not all hope is lost yet I guess Great reaction as always. Also, it is absolutely normal to get teary eyed when listening tp some Sabaton songs or the history. There are a couple of songs which never fail to make me cry, like Ballad of Bull, No Bullets Fly, En Livstid I Krig and so on. It get's especially bad with Cliffs of Gallipoli. But that's part of why so many people love Sabaton.

You saying they hopefully might complete the history videos for the last album is ridiculous if I’m gonna be honest. It’s obvious they always complete them but it takes them time usually because of time shortage but just give it a while and they will be released one after another. They take a few months between each episode usually is all. Anyway while waiting for them he can react to old history videos for songs he has only reacted to the music to in the meantime. Also he still has more Sabaton song to react to from the Carolus Rex album so at least he has things to occupy him. :)

I highly recommend the book they mention in the history video, A Higher Call. I read it a while ago and it was amazing. It was so good that I finished it in about a week. It also includes the life story of Franz Stigler and shows a unique view of life in Nazi Germany.

I agree with your critic to the lyric video. sadly most if not all of the lyric videos from the newest album are like that. Just looks very lazy and uninspired tbh.. The best lyric videos in my opinion were the ones from the Great War album

This song is for me the pinacle of sabaton gut punching it's badass it's very good and it's tear inducing i love it people thing it's bizarre to listen to History but i Say they are bizarre for not apreciating such good art *i still cry at it*
