Elizabeth Garozzo is a friend from way back. We hear her ethereal high notes in Frozen 2 medley, and she's in Just Sing. Captions weren't useful here but generally you want them on for VP and Geoff projects. Especially in Just Sing, so you know who everyone is, not to mention some humor. Because of his wife's hearing loss, captions are just part of Geoff's life, and they often give us a glimpse into his sense of humor.

Those are the masks from "Kidnap The Sandy Claws" Lock, Shock & Barrel hanging in the trees. Utilizing old props. Oh, and the body functions sounds. Layne with the deadly carrot. Layne is the Carrot King.

Elizabeth is absolutely fabulous! They had so much fun doing this number. I am a soprano and I would love singing this with some friends. I laughed so much at this one. You have to watch it a few times to get all the gags. There is a carrot gag that ends the piece. Layne always pranks the others with carrots. You got a few of the Easter eggs. The masks were from another video. Thanks for reacting to this one.

They had so much fun with this one! Elizabeth has worked with them before, but never on screen. She has had done very, very high backgrounds when they were needed, alway credited . When Voiceplay goes off the rails like this, with their special kind of dumb, it is wonderful. As long as you are willing to suspend sanity and go along for the ride. One more to add to the list, in case I haven't mentioned it before, is I Can't Make You Love Me. Have tissues handy, it will break your heart. And Voiceplay did 4 pieces from The Nightmare Before Christmas, just so ya know!

The potion they are making improves singing as they add different ingredients it does different things. The story of In the Hall of the mountain King is as follows: It tells the story of a young boy - Peer Gynt, who falls in love with a girl but is not allowed to marry her. He runs away into the mountains but is captured by trolls who take him to their King. Peer Gynt tries to escape but is chased by the trolls and runs into the troll King but eventually gets away.

Cesar’s ear wiggle was likely a happy accident. The things kept falling off because they had too much motion and weight in the tips. I’m pretty sure that moment was a split second before he lost them again.

When we say these guys are so much fun, we mean it. They really went to town on this one. :)

One cute sub story is with Cesar's character. He brings this special potion and is all happy about it, then Layne tosses it over his shoulder. That is why he does the evil laugh. Then Cesar pouts and then pulls out another potion that makes Layne all tipsy as a get back.

Layne's vocal range for beatboxing is off the planet. It matches Geoff's singing range at the bottom, and I think is higher at the top. He only lets us hear him sing in baritone- mid tenor, so...? The weird noise you remarked on was Layne.

Yeah, I think this may be the best music _video_ they've ever done. The way the on-screen action ties in so closely with what is going on with the music, is impressive and just adds so much.

This one's a ton of fun, but both Hoist the Colours and Ghost Riders In the Sky are AMAZING and I can't wait to see you react to them on Monday! Another couple of fun, goofy numbers I'd love to see you react to are We Don't Talk About Bruno and Butter.

Your "first time reaction" pretty much mimicked mine 😅. This piece is incredible. Super funny, yet at the same time full of virtuoso stuff... As always, making the fun things requires extraordinary abilities. 🙂 And yes, I understand your giggles and "WTF?..." expressions. People don’t (and should) get past how amazing Geoff is and pay attention to the others. Layne is a beat-boxing BEAST, not to mention a hellofa violinist and arranger. Cesar is an incredible actor (I mean, all these guys are amazing, but Cesar really goes for it), and his voice is different in every song-so much so if you didn’t see who is singing you wouldn’t know (I always wish we could hear an extended solo where he really lets go). Eli can also color his voice for different characters/situations, he’s a rock god, and he’s one of the better actors I’ve seen (and I majored in theater). And back to Geoff-what really sets him apart is not only does he have a great range and deep voice, but he can go that low and still have that velvety texture to his voice-so often when men hit really low nots they’re pretty rough sounding. AND his arrangements are outstanding.
