And the Original Title of RM's song in Korean is 들꽃놀이(Deul-KKweot-Nori) which means Filed-Flower-Play. (Fieldflower means Wildflower in English) The MV starts with beautiful fireworks. But later almost at the end of the MV instead of fireworks there is a scene of 낙화놀이(Nak-hwa-Nori). Nakhwa Nori is South Korea's traditional fireworks but they are different in many ways. Firework use chemicals so it explodes and disappears in a short amount of time, but Nakhwa Nori use charcoal so it slowly burns and last for hours. Also while fireworks are shot high up in the sky, Nakhwa Nori is hung in the sky so the flames falls to the ground. Nakwha literally means falling flames/falling flowers. Its just like his lyrics "I yearned for the flames(firework), I yearned for a beautiful fall." I cried for a couple of days, Namjoon lyrics really hit me hard and Youjeen’s belting out singing amplified the emotion I felt inside. I was crying a lot I had to explain to my husband why I cried. I became ARMY just this summer, and my journey as a baby army was like I was in a tsunami, from the moment I wake up in the morning to the time I go to bed, my headphones were on my head. I ride my bike to work so I had 2 hours a day of really listening to their music and watching their videos to get to know them, it was fantastic. I am so grateful to my husband for understanding how his wife changed into a BTS Army and that’s why I love him. Thanks for sharing your emotions with us💜

I can't help crying or tearing up when I watch the MV and listen to this song, it's just so beautiful and hit me so hard. 😭😭 I am so proud of Namjoon! Indigo is an incredible album. The album was just released but it has already made me feel so many things and heal. Namjoon is my favorite artist for a reason. I appreciate the fact he's so honest with us. Not all can do that and exposing his inner himself and putting out in the world those raw lyrics is just so brave. I always find myself in some way reflected in his music and his songs give me comfort and motivation. It's like if someone is sitting next to me, listening and telling me that everything will be fine, that one day we will make it. Kim Namjoon is an incredible artist and I can't be more proud of him, I'm so proud of everything he has achieved as a celebrity and as a person. He deserves all the love and support! It's incredible how every single song is so f good on its own and even if they are different, I see them as a whole. That's why it's hard for me to choose a favorite one.. that's what happens when you release a real good album. Namjoon's lyricism always blow my mind. I cry every time I watch this mv! Just watched the RM live Indigo magazine film which features all of the artists along with RM talking about each track and I was doing okay, until they started talking about this song and from that point until the very end when each person gave a final comment about RM and the album I sobbed. Of course then I watched your reaction and sobbed all over again. There’s honestly so much to say about the intent behind the lyrics it’s impossible to cover everything. RM is a beautiful person, inside and out.

You know, I've kept BTS pretty close to the vest cuz anytime I tried in the past to introduce them to people I got a lot of negative comments or I could feel people rolling their eyes in their heads when I would say how amazing they are (a boy band, amazing, ya right). I just stopped talking about them. Still people knew very peripherally that I liked them. Today my best friend in the world sent me a clip of the NPR concert and I finally told her how much I think she would enjoy his music. I've been dying to gush to her about him and introduce her to all his music but I think I would be heartbroken if she made the same comments I've heard before. She's a beautiful poet and writer (published) and I would be so sad if she didn't love him and his work. Anyways, she asked me what his name was and it really felt like the twilight Zone. This person that has gotten me through some of the roughest times in my life and is a global superstar is nobody to her. She said that what she heard was good and that he was cute. It's still amazing to me that we can all live in different worlds in this day and age.

There’s so many references in this MV - his personal struggles, identity crisis, the pressure/intensity & the loneliness of his success etc. The lyrics are raw, emotional and heart wrenching that even just as a listener we empathise to him. Wild flower brought us along his roller coaster ride of his 20s (where he climbed becoming the biggest band in the world, bringing nearly bankrupt company to billion $$ company and what it feel like being on top) - the storm, fireworks, barren land, calm flower field. Very deep and personal song, I can see why he said that this song is so precious to him. On your own time I would also highly recommend to also watch the breakdown of Wildflower at itsANDYandJAS channel if you like to understand more of each message. It is very insightful.

I sometimes feel like people do forget these very famous stars are real people. I feel like, i absolutely love BTS, but once they are off the stage, they are regular people. The time they put in, writing their music, rehearsing choreography, putting a show together, put in all their work combined with their talent is what they're giving the fans, and not giving THEIR lives. I watch their recorded videos that are put out there, try to go to concerts but again, once they're off the stage, they're people, not just STARS, they belong to themselves. Love BTS, together and solo, they are incredible!

It's a song that strikes deep, I know it hit me in the same way. He's lived a life in his 20s that many will never relate to or have the opportunity to experience yet everything he has to say resonates so universally. He's genuinely a very very special person. If I can make one recommendation per your decision on tiny desk (and I know everyone enjoys music in their own way), Namjoon mentioned he hoped fans could listen through the album as is, in order, for the full experience. As a longtime army, it's one of my most memorable full album sit throughs I've ever experienced. I'm sure you're eager to get to tiny desk, I just wanted to offer my experienceThe beginning of the video and when youjeen sings the hook reminds me of RM and Jimin on American Hustle Life watching the fireworks and being in amazement of them. It brings a warm and fuzzy feeling to me. I’ve been watching reaction videos all day and just hoping someone would mention Festa Dinner because as soon as I read the lyrics it brought me back to that day. I feel like the song is a product of that and a part two of all that frustration and confusion. Namjoon turning his pain into art to express the real him and help others feel seen and relatable. Ahh I just love him so much. I feel so terrible and almost guilty especially during the pandemic they gave so much of themselves to cheer up Army that they may have felt lost and not themselves. I wish I could hug him too and tell him it’s okay to feel everything he’s feeling and take as much time as he needs I hope he can find peace and happiness 💜

Love this album to & his artistic beautiful mind. It may help to know that I watched an interview he did & said that everything on this album was written during or is about where he was at in 2019. He’d been going non-stop, they were always “on” and he felt he was losing sight of his authentic self, having no time to sit back & unpack the journey and so high up & busy there was no space to breath. Also feeling guilty for his very real emotions when he had so much and he didn’t want to let the fans down. The whole thing was in danger of falling apart completely in late “19. A huge tour was coming at a time they all needed space, time to process and let themselves come to terms with all the changes they’d been through. Covid will never not be a bad thing but for RM & probably all of BTS it was the first chance in a very long time to have the ability to stop, feel and process emotions. Then they were given the opportunity to help lift the spirits of the whole world in a very different way. One that gave them time & space to experience it and seeing how it helped others, helped him find joy in it again. They all had time to both give to the world and to themselves as individuals. He found himself again & was able make sense of all the negative emotions, rediscover his dreams and where he wanted them to go. To move forward he felt he needed (and was finally able to) write about this period in his life with perspective and to make his first new solo artistic step be about expressing everything that led him to his lowest point so he could move on from it to a future free of any past shadows. It’s a very personal album and that’s what makes it special, he takes us all on his journey from the place of a fully developed artist and man understanding & letting go of the shackles of the past.

you said everything I was thinking about this song and RM & BTS in general. as fans you never know how your favorite people are truly feeling. and although BTS has been good at keeping ARMY involved in their lives I'm sure there is a lot they are told not to say or express. so eventually that will wear down a person with the heart that the BTS members have. thy just want to be themselves and create as themselves even when together.
