Another popular recording artist/singer who is from the U.K. (although he was born in British India) and a contemporary of (Atomic) Tom Jones during the '60's is Englebert Humperdinck. Sir Tom still sings this in concert at 84 and he's had a number one album recently in his 80th year he bought out a new one and in the record books as oldest person having an album released, he has been on your side of the pond recently doing live concerts. I would suggest looking at his concert footage or his RU-vid Channel and also look at his friend and Welsh counterpart Dame Shirley Bassey now 87 and released her album around the same time as Sir Tom, so far they've spent 60 years and 70 years in their careers and have sold between them around 400 million albums that's obviously not including singles etc
