First Time Seeing RM 'Come back to me' REACTION 

Hey, 63 year old ARMY here. I've been ARMY since their debut in 2013. The main thing to remember about BTS is that they are 7 different individuals with a myriad of talents who came together to form a group. Their personalities and tastes are different, but what they have in common is their love for music. I think, as a music lover, you should start from the beginning. Coming into BTS during the what I like to dub as "The English era", you are doing yourself a dis-service. Their music has evolved over the years. Watching that evolution is one the most beautiful things I've ever experienced. I think you would do well to watch Taylor Mari's guide to BTS and start at the beginning with the MV "No More Dreams" and follow the discography. Their music holds deep messages and feelings about life. Sorry for the rant, but I believe you would appreciate the music so much more if you see the evolution.

Although RM literally responsible for 90 to 99% out of BTS songs His albums are SOOOOOOOO different from the group projects I’ve been an ARMY since 2013 it’s so interesting to see how RM is so talented and how he’s getting bigger and better every time he releases music 👏🏾👏🏾 I love him so much

Some say that this song was inspired by the book "The Midnight Library" (RM and Suga read it, there is video of this) I just got the book so we'll see (BTS continues to show by example and so ARMY continue to read those books to find a better understanding of their art)

69yo ARMY. RM was actually an underground rapper in Korea at the age of 13 when he was discovered by another Korean underground rapper by the name of Sleepy (not your Sleepy).

It makes me so happy to see music heads like you loving on RM. He's an artist in the truest sense.

RM was already a rapper before becoming the leader of BTS. In total we have 3 rappers (Rm, suga/AgustD and J-hope) and 4 singers (Jin, Jimin, v and Jungkook). It would be cool if you could take a look at them, they are really good (whether they work solo or in groups. I'm loving your reactions. you already have a fan in Brazil 🫶🔥🇧🇷

I think youd enjoy his npr tiny desk concert for his first album indigo last year. Bts in general are always amazing live (yhey did their own npr tiny desk concert too) but he did especially well and the live band featured some of the producers of that album who are very well respected muscians.

Up next is RM’s ‘Wildflowers’

This album is a masterpiece. I already felt like it’s album of the year from the first day. There’s a thing called Rolling Stones’s Musicians on Musicians on RU-vid, where RM and Pharrell interview each other. They talk and ask each other about writing/music as well as being public figures. This was released before his album ‘Indigo’ was released in 12/2022, which I think you’ll like/appreciate a lot as well (and I saw that as a masterpiece as well lol). He has songs that feature Erykah Badu (“Yun”, it’s amazing she said yes to be in it, bc it’s not like she just does this for anyone) and Anderson .Paak (“Still Life”, which has an MV) among other artists. RM did perform a few on NPR’s Tiny Desk concert and also a song from a previous project as well.

In the vein of Sleepy Brown. Definitely Andre 3000, too. I dig the lane he is in right now. 💜 I will look at what you have seen from BTS. They have some out of pocket stuff, too. Like Born Sinner (JCole) but their story, called Born Singer. But again, this is so RM. You'd like some of JHope's stuff as well. Boom bap very East Coast old school rap. I love how all the members have such different styles. I love me some Pharcyde and Outkast 😘💜🫰🏻🫶🏻

RM's current album has unique sound, not like BTS'. and each song on the album is different from the others. it is fantastic. This song makes me itch for a sub unit of V and Rm. smoooooth.

Thanks for your reactions to RM... I've seen them all. I'm glad that new people who know music recognize Namjoon's art. He is one of the main composers of BTS. He is involved in the writing of all the group's songs and in some cases also in the production. Before BTS, the truth is I didn't like rap, it seemed very monotonous and with topics that were not of much interest to me... but the BTS rappers are very dynamic in their raps and touch on themes of internal struggle, introspection/psychology, social criticism and politics and I love how they change the flow of their rap's which never gets boring to me... and in their lyrics you can see how clever they are... sometimes we need explanatory videos to understand the background of their songs BTS had its beginnings being a more hip hop group... over time it diversified handling genres such as: R&B, Pop, EDM, Rock, Jazz There are a rap sub unit within the group and a vocal sub unit where the rappers have few songs by themselves and the same with vocal line... BTS and members have a total of over 400 plus songs. and a fanbase of over 350 million fans. They debuted in 2013 as a HIP HOP IDOL group. Their core is HIP HOP and RnB. BTS moving forward will be very different than what they have been, because they have grown as artists. Their sounds are so different. You will love his album INDIGO and his solo mixtape MONO. both of those are amazing and introspective, and represent the phase of life he was going through at the time. I personally think you are going to love all of them. SUGA is another one. He's a heavy hitter and knows how to slow it down and do RnB etc. All of them are like that. Also, V is our Jazzy Baritone and crooner. His pocket is Jazz/RnB. I want to explain them all to you. I’ve been looking at your RM reactions and you’re so chill and perceptive. Musically, his new album is my favorite of his, and that’s hard to do. All of the members only get better as they grow and their music matures as they get older. Not a lot of artists do that genuinely. This song and video is so nice. It makes me feel like I need to appreciate exactly where I am and not look back on so much of my life with regret but to just think back on the good things that made me who I am today. Don’t worry about others’ expectations and societal ideas of success. Do your best and find contentment. I’m subscribing :) Would you mind ever checking out the Cypher Medley live, btw? It’s all three rappers of BTS performing a compilation of their cyphers together and really solidified my confidence that they’re some of the best rappers in the industry. Think you’d like it. three albums you need to cheack out: his first album or mixtape called MONO, his 2nd album INDIGO and finally this last album called RIGHT PLACE WRONG PERSON. All of them are very eclectic. When RM comes out with a new project you'll never know what to expect. They're always different but AMAZING, he's music is very unique.
