Stan is singing right from his heart and soul. Stan had a rare stomach cancer which has taken a lot of his family members. But he is a walking miracle as even though they had to remove his stomach he has surrendered himself to our Lord Jesus Christ. Stan includes "I surrender" in this performance as that was what he had to do....Surrender All. Thanks for the great reaction sir....
Man, if this doesn’t give you serious goose bumps then you have no soul! Just a note for you old man huda, the song that they joined to amazing grace is called ‘I surrender’ it was written by Stan when he was 15. So, so powerful❤️❤️
Awesome OMHuda another great reaction. just want to share about the band and backup singers who are exceptional and compliment Stan very well. The Levites are the band playing the instruments. The keyboardist, bassist and drummer in are brothers (Nansen brothers) who are the OG Levites band - the others are additional members. These brothers grew up playing in the church band for Auckland Samoan Assembly of God. 🔥🙏 🔥 The backup vocals are a singing group called The Standard and they are fire . They’ve been back up vocals for Stan for awhile and they are exceptional singers who can saaang 🔥🙏🔥 #NanFanNZ 💕💕💕
He is my saviour, I’ve been following him since I first heard Ultralight Beam and I’ve been following since. He gives me inspiration every time I hear his voice❤
It's always good to hear other people acknowledge what most Kiwi's could only speculate after listening to Stan and confirm that it wasn't just our Kiwi bias clouding our perspective of Stan's talent. His mentor on Australian Idol Michael Buble once said "How do you mentor someone who is better than you?", "It's like God kissed his throat". As you've probably guessed, this is a mashup with "Amazing Grace" and a Stan original "I Surrender". If you want to checkout another familiar cover with that unique Stan twist, try "Don't Dream It's Over" or perhaps a side-by-side comparison of an original, Bigger (English version) vs TUA (Maori version). BTW You might want to add your Ultralight Beam & New Light reactions to Stan's playlist.
Who says this is over singing. Divine Love is Unconditional, what you are hearing is "Devotional" singing at it's most flawless. Love for God and Lord Jesus Christ in this example has never been publicly expressed in the depth in which we are blessed to witness in Stan Walker's and The Levites rendition. If you would put your expectations aside you too would be receptive to the love for God and Jesus without question.
