On the 4th day of the Disney Cruise VLOG adventure, we had the chance to step foot on Tortola for the first time ever! Tortola was very cool to see, and I loved the feel of the island. We also met some amazing characters, took photos and enjoyed the ship, and of course participated in the Pirate Night festivities! Relieved to see you got off the ship somewhere other than Castaway Cay, even if it was only for an hour in the immediate vicinity. Keep pushing through that comfort zone; more to cruising than staying on the ship in the kids area

If you want to explore somewhere but are nervous about it, I'd highly recommend doing an excursion through the cruise company. I know a lot of veteran cruisers find them overpriced, but you have the guarantee that the ship personnel knows where you are, and you can travel in a bit of a cruise bubble with a guide who can show you places and share knowledge that you can't get on your own. Some of the excursions offered can be short (less than 2 hours) and low-commitment, like a walking tour with a guide. There are also short-ish (4 hours or less) tours that still show you some exciting highlights if you want to get out but still enjoy some time onboard before the evening activities kick in.

Tortulla’s island beaches are so nice, you guys, again, did not take great advantage of it. 😑. But I did enjoy the vlog.

Generalapparelwest yeah, I can see that 😂. Michael is a great Disney vlogger, with an emphasis on Disney, for sure. I just feel that he can get even more subs, if he just expands his horizons. I do love Michael, he does seem to be down to earth and a genuine nice person.

Disney 4life I agree 💯, it seems like a huge waste of money, Disney is not cheap. To be fair, I do believe he is getting help funded by Patreon, so it’s not a total waste. Tortula is an amazing island, their beaches are pristine. Yes, walking around the shops would have been my choice when returning from the beach. Plus, from what I am observing, it would have served them well, given that they were getting sea sick. Of course, this is my opinion, part of me wishes I was going, frankly I am a bit jealous 🙂.

Loved the vlog! Loved that you experienced a little of Tortola. I usually just take an hour to go out and walk around the port docks, then head back to the ship! I’ve never been to the Vibe open house but with guitar hero there...I’ll have to go!

Everyone is different and likes different things 🙃when I was in Tortola I went to Beef Island and that’s one of my favorite places ever visiting on a cruise! Mike and Dave should research before they go so they can plan something and not be worried about it❤️🥰😀

I have seen this Pirates Show with Jack Sparrow I have only seen the one we’re Mickey flies overhead. I have only been able to do the Nassau,Castaway Cay 4 day trips.
