Congrats on the marathon Lil, fantastic effort. We've got on stripes on our van. No longer stressed about them. I just add more. If you can afford, Upgrade from GoPro to DJI. SOOOO MUCH better.
My son and his GF were there a few days ago and said it was epic. He said he would have paid 3 times the price for the experience. That "damage" is nothing!!! We had our maiden voyage in the brand new van and clipped a new 4x4 at St Marys. No damage to our van, but ripped the front driver's side panel of his ute. We stopped for a coffee. The coffee was terrible to boot!! Lesson learnt. Dont turn too tightly in a restricted spot. Keep up the great work guys. I look forward to your weekly posts.

Awesome spot those springs, reminds me of my very younger days spending hours swimming in springs like that on my uncles farm in South Africa Groot Mariko You need to change your equipment to DJI action cameras end of your dramas no overheating no corrupted sd cards no stop recording with no reason Good job in clearing the track its needed and the rangers cant get to all of them fast enough. Not sure what the point was to take that tight track. I thought there might be a great campsite at the end of it but it just joined on to a main dirt road. Short cut?? Anyway, loved the episode.
Sometimes I ask the same thing Jason! 😂 Nah, the plan was to try and take a short cut to SA but it didn’t quite work out for us. All part of the adventure though! 🙌🏼

It always sucks christening a vehicle but at least it's done now and you can enjoy your new caravan. I always feel that way with my cars and vans but we know that bush pinstripes are inevitable.

@@lilandjake we downsized from a 18.6 to a Alpine 16” with the same battery and solar as you have so we could go to more places. Happy for you both and I’m not in your position of travelling full time .

I get Jake wants to do "off road" but maybe just not fire tracks with that caravan. 😊 I must be old fashioned because if i just spent $100,000 + on a new caravan - I wouldnt want to instantly devalue it like that. Its not a judgement, each to their own. Love your channel btw! 😊
Looks like you are missing the cowling that sits over that gap in front of the radiator. I believe it directs all the air to pass through your radiator and keeps your water and oil temps just that bit cooler when you are moving.
try the DJI Action 4 ... i have a 3 and it has not played up at all even sitting on the dash in full sun... just yesterday it was sitting on the motor when i started it, the poor thing fell down on top of the exhaust manifold, it was still filming 20 minutes later when i started looking for it after i remembered where i had left it.
How good are the DO35, you'll never be able to go back to a normal coupling again. What have you done to the new van!!! 😮😮 Those ponds are beautiful. 🤩 I hear the DJI Osmo is a good alternative to the GoPro. 👍 Cheers Guys. 🥰🥰

Hey lil and Jake when you went to Ewens ponds ( it is just beautiful under the water my happy place) after ponds, did you check out Little Blue lake. Did you jump in from the cliff top? We went to robe as well a few weeks back, it is a pretty place.
Isn’t it magical under there, such crystal clear water! We did last time, missed it this time though. We are a bit strapped for time atm. 😅 Robe is beautiful with nice weather! 🩷
That pond was epic have to make sure we visit there. Man the extra height of a non-pop top van really showed on this episode. Re GoPro agree they are rubbish get yourself some DJI Osmo’s far superior and don’t hover heat etc.

Yeah, i agree, lots of troubles with GoPro!! Will have to look into to some alternatives. Absolutely LOVING the new bed set up, super comfy, might get a topper at some stage in the future. Water was sooooo cold! 🥶

Lil's still tripping out on her runner's high , I'd be dead . I got a flat tire on my Bike 5 miles from home the other day had to walk it back slept for 10 hours that night & could hardly move the next day { I am 61 } 🙂
I was up working near Coober Pedy when I said to my com worker that I would go up ahead and clear the track and I came across a tree that was fallen across the track, so I picked it up and pushed it to the side when I saw the grass move, I looked over and saw a King Brown Snake that was about 1.5 meters in length and we just had a mouse plague and it was well fed 😮
