Follow our journey of a British Filipino couple tasting Malaysian food in Kuala Lumpur for the first time. We had a challenging time searching for the FAMOUS RAMLY BURGER!! After asking lots of locals we ended up in Jalan Alor street market in Kuala Lumpur. 2 hours later we finally tasted the famous Malaysian Ramly street burger 😋 Our first impression of the Ramly burger surprised us, we didn't Expect it to be SOOO MESSY!

Don't totally take the burger out of the wrapper.. Use the paper to wrap around the burger and have one edge opened and eat there.

Theres many variety and customizartion of our local burger.. Normal is beef/chicken Benjo is sunnyside egg instead of patty Special means + egg wrap Cheese or no cheese Double means 2 patties of the same type Kahwin means 2 patties- 1 chicken, 1 beef On top of that, Different stalls will make their own way, some with blackpepper sauce, some with caramalized onions, some with pineapple and so on So you can get so many different combinations 😂

If the burger so messy, you can request for less chili sauce or ketchup

To avoid the mess, keep the burger in its wrapping paper. Only remove the paper from top to down while eating the burger. That is how Malaysians eat Ramly burger without making any mess with the sauce & patty.

Hi guys, just found out your channel and I subscribe instantly! 😉 1. To Czar, while you in Malaysia please introduce yourself as tourist otherwise whatever you ask, the reply would be in malay language as in 2:17 coz you look like a local malay (pinoy and malay are brothers as we share the same root of this archipelago) 2. Ramly burger is a local street delicacy. You can find the stalls almost everywhere in Malaysia (in suburbs KL , normally they operated from 6pm onwards and always happens to be next to 7-Eleven stores) 3. Although all Ramly Burger stalls use same patty from Ramly brand, the taste from each stall won't be the same as they will add their own twist to make the burger special and unique.

I usually have my Ramly burgers with the wrapper wrapped around the burger while eating it. It keeps your fingers clean and all the sauces contained inside while you enjoy your bite. Try it.

The way to eat Ramly Burger is with the wrapper around it to keep the burger together and the sauce in. It won’t be that messy then and your hands would be clean!

Guys...actually the nearest place to find the Ramly Burger is at the Kampong Baru. Just take 10 minutes walking distance from KLCC. Trust me you will find the foods heaven there...good of luck.

Ramly or street burger stalls usually located in residential neighborhood areas, that's why it is hard to find them at the city center

Ramly burger is supposed to be messy because of the sauces. Different stalls will have different recipes for preparing the burger..but they all use the same Ramly patties. The messier the tastier the burger.

The Ramly burger is meant to be messy, that is amongst it's unique characters which differentiate it with other western burgers. If you can't appreciate its uniqueness, then you shouldn't rate it.

The Ramly Burger is the brand of the patty- beef, chicken, rabbit, venison, lamb. Then each vendor has their own take on the burger with different chilli sauce, tomato sauce, black pepper sauce, maggi seasoning, mayonaisse, mustard, salt, pepper, mixed spices, cucumbber, onion, lettuce, cabbage, tomato, egg, omellette, egg wrap, french fries, cheese etc etc etc... You have to try the same burger in different vendors...

Most ramlee burger or any burger stall in Malaysia don't use ketchup but use chili sauce. Normally can found ramlee burger stall in any town and trust me, each stalls have their own style and taste. 1 of Malaysian most favorite night snack beside roti canai. u should try lepak (hangout) at mamak (indian muslim restaurant) and eat roti canai, roti telur, roti pisang (banana), and roti tissue. most Malaysian hangout at night thr watching football or hangout with friends while enjoy those like it's our tradition every nite. hope u both enjoy ur stay in Malaysia P/S: next time dont open the wrap just open half so it wont be so messy whn u eat it ;p

You were not supposed to take off the wrapper when you eat the burger. The wrapper can help you contain all the ingredients in the burger and avoid from getting messy. It’s so funny when she said the burger is falling apart haha 😂

The best part about ramly burgers are every burgers are different at every stalls. And you can customize your burgers, no sauce or no vegetables. And you supposed to eat the burger with packaging so it doesnt get messy. Ramly burgers are the best full of spices, mcd's burgers are dry and expensive

Ramly burger is meant to be messy because of the sauces .. Like many comments below.. each individual ramly burger stall is different but the most basic ones is the mayo , chilli sauce and some kind of slaw or vege. Ramly burger is all about the patty .. if it's not a Ramly patty , it's not a Ramly burger. You can customize what you want which makes Ramly burger special. It's cheap , it's prepped fast and it's filling .. the best street food you will find . Glad you enjoyed it.

the one you ate was not the best version. other stall will dunk the patty in a black pepper sauce. local people eat with the wrapper still half covered so the filling doesn't fall apart
