Eton has made A Lot of progress! He used to flee at everything. Your slightest movements and he'd RUN head way up nostrils flared. He actually stands still and without looking wound up. He's also really filling out and his coat looks gorgeous. Wye dressed up so nicely and he's really tuning in to you now. Amazing work Elisa.❤
Truly is amazing how intelligent the mustangs are, maybe the natural weaning process and therefore they are able to stay with their mothers and the herd they learn so much more at an early age makes a big difference. Just a guess. He sure is "just let me try this once and then I'm all yours" kind of guy and you can tell he likes you close to him, the closer the better. Good for you both to share the love. You give me so much joy just watching thank you!

What a love this little horse is...he always works with you never against you... a quality that he has in abundance...There is a very lucky person out there that will get a super nice horse... 👍

Really love the way you break your horses. Never seen a 'method' like this before, beginnen without sadle or bridle then introducing it slowly. And it looks and sounds way more relaxed for the horses then the (how I see it) normal way. Really love your work and very glad I found you! Really learning from every video :)
You wd swear this pinto had been backed before; very similar training scenario when my son and i trained my 16.2 saddlebred gelding...such a puppy!! he never bucked or bolted at all during 1st time under saddle or thereafter.
You are such a good trainer! Recently, a feral mare with a foal wandered on our land and decided to live there. I’ve always wanted a horse but not gotten round to getting one, so I decided to train them so I can at least look after them. Do you have any tips for getting the foal to accept the lead rope? He keeps thinking it’s a snake and running off
Question, is the awkward mounting a why to bail out quickly or more habitation (stupid people doing stupid stuff) for the horse? My first rides are with a halter and lead line to reduce the number of things going on as well... 🙂
It’s probably a bit of both. If the horse were to suddenly bolt while she’s mounting, it’s to make sure she can get off easily, so none of them get injured.
I know you are a horse trainer but it can really harm your horses back if you mount from the grond, aspecially to move the saddle around. If he had a much stronger back it would've been more acceptable.
I'm finding myself really hoping that she'll keep both horses...There's something special about both of them, and I don't want to see either of them go anywhere else when they've both developed such good relationships with Elisa. Eton especially needs her. He's the kind of horse that when he does form a bond, it's a big deal for him, and he is really putting a lot of trust in Elisa at this point. Go back and look at the difference between him when training started and now. Elisa gets him. She's pushing him, but not pushing too much too quickly. Eton needs the time that she's willing to invest in him, the careful thought, and the effort. I don't know why I get this feeling with him, but I think he's going to be an amazing horse as he learns to trust more and more. He will take his relationship with Elisa very seriously, and the resulting partnership between them will be incredible to see.
