Yeah after using this idk that there can be much better of a 20 year old baler out there I’m really impressed especially with the deal we got on it and yup got to move that farmers ran up a little lol
Sorry I am late my friend! Awesome video!! Loved seeing the baler work, toy seem happy with it!! Ahhhh, the infamous IH gear grind!! I been meaning to adjust the clutch brake on mine, it's awful!! I usually have to edit that out😂😂😂 Can't wait to see more! Thank you for bringing us along!!
Lol yeah we have been meaning to adjust our trans brake sense the new clutch got broke in lol any time we have time we never think about it until we are using it
When we had the round baler, we ran it on the 5288. The tube from the dash to the door was a good place for the monitor, right where you can see it and the windrow.. and easy to look back to when you look back at the baler. But I know you will figure out the right place for you. Keep an eye on the twine spinner! (The 530 didn't have one, had to watch the twine.. ) the bale can catch it and you get a bale full of twine, or if it doesn't cut.... You have a tether line to the last bale. Bales look good 👍😎
Lol that’s what we had a problem with on our old new Holland’s the twine would just keep spooling and it was a lot harder to see then on this JD so far very happy it caught and cut the twin every time today but that was a small field we will see hopefully it keeps it up I’m very impressed by this baler though
@@knappfarms looks like a good machine!! I like the monitor, the old ones had needle gauges that were kinds a guess anyway and no control, just a couple idiot lights..
Yeah the monitor is old enough to be simple but new enough to tell me everything I need to know accurately the baler is definitely my new favorite thing to use on the farm for actually getting something done
Exactly lol I don’t think I ever want to get into equipment made after 2010 I feel like right about then is when it got crazy with technology and you have to have a rocket surgeon to fix it
Lol yeah we just had that random channel still in there from when we had a loader on it for the remotes it worked but definitely not permanent don’t know where we are gonna end up mounting it
@@SouthSaskFarmer1 idk where It will go but the center is where we put a new temp gauge so will have to be a little off to the side you know because the gauges work about as well as it goes in gear
Can’t believe there was no comments on the grinding gears lol I got a decent one in the video thanks for watching I figured you would like to see some green equipment joining the farm
Oh yeah I know how that is haven’t uploaded a video is 2 weeks because of my main job they wait till it’s nice out and time to farm and hit us with all the overtime
