With Skoda having Sportline Variant placed between Mid and Top Variant, it is by far the most VFM variant, if you don’t want to spend for Top variant but want some good features added to Mid Variant. For eg: Skoda Slavia Sportline 1.0/1.5 is similar to Signature Mid Variant but is loaded with many sport trims and other features like sunroof, auto dimming irvm, auto sensing wiper, led projector headlights. But it’s costing just about 10-15k more than the Signature Mid Variant.
Very useful information. Heard enough of brands' gr8 engines, driving pleasure but nobody covers the remaining practical aspects the way you do. Thank you.✨
Both VW and Skoda 2.0 has inferior interior quality. Rapid, Polo, Vento was way better in terms of quality, fit and finish. Instead of talking about these.. talk about the transmission differences. TSI is already a better version of TFSI from Audi in terms of refinement. 1.0 TSI in Rapid/Vento is way more torqued than Honda City. Torque band range is 1750 RMP till 4400 RPM. Much powerful than Honda City 1.5 NA. Check EA211 from VW. Do you know how much is 1.0 TSI capable of generating power output when tuned?
I have driven my Slavia 1Ltr TC for more than 1.5 years and have never felt the lack of power. And I have driven everywhere, city, highways, hills or even went for simple off roading experience. TC is the most reliable gearbox and we should not discount that. Never felt the lack of power while overtaking vehicles which are considered to be better powered. And the way it drives and hold the road is simply unmatched. It gives you confidence and is true for any car from Skoda VW group. I have avoided accidents that would have happened if I was driving majority of the cars from other makes. Please drive a Skoda VW car fast on a flyover and you can notice the difference. All the wheels are stuck to the road when you start climbing down. How many other cars can do that without the front wheel flying in the air for a fraction of seconds? I have safely negotiated the recent Kerala floods where other cards got struck and needed to be towed.
That’s for why I mentioned if someone needs an automatic car with zero headache, then one should go for TC. And i already mentioned that it lacks power on uphill drive with full loaded, not anywhere else. My nephew owns one
@@DirectShift When you say up hill what exactly? I am planing to buy skoda kushaq 1 ltr AT , I live in village of western ghats of Karnataka , normal hill ups and downs are common here am I making wrong choice?
@@DirectShift1.0 L feels less power when you compared with 1.5L… But 1.0L will will beat 1.5L in every aspect if you drive sensibly… 1.0l more economical as ACT works on highways… Now choice is whether to give 2.0L more for slightly quick shift, feel power in 2gear and more maintenance for dsg and clutch… If you drive 1.0L on Sport mode with use of paddle shift then it’s different to differentiate whether you drive 1.0l or 1.5l …😊
Mere pas 1ltr kushaq h, sirf 1bar jab kafi jyada pani tha, road par, us time underpower lagi..... Baki up hill bhi achhi h.... Lekin aapko 1.5 leni chahiye... Aur milage 10 to 17 kmpl..15 mix
Hello Sir, I am purchasing Taigun 1.5 DSG automatic GT plus with extended warranty and svp + must have accessories package for 18.5 L (on-road). Will this be worth for long term like having this car for next 9-10 years? Rather choosing skoda going for this is a good decision? And as a middle class want to ask if it worth having? As I have heard that there is no resale value for taigun so it will be for long term only
Hi, Skoda kushaq or Hyundai creta which is best and how much mailage they both give. Can you also tell me manual or automatic which is best in both the cars.
It depends upon your priority. For safety and driving pleasure, Kushaq anyday ! But if you need a car with all modern features, and tried and tested type car, then Creta. Safety is a main concern in Creta. If you are comparing between Kushaq 1.0 and Creta, then I would suggest Creta, if you are comparing between Kushaq 1.5 and Creta, you need to test drive both car first and decide. Again Automatic transmission in Skoda cars is better than Hyundai. Regarding mileage, you need to understand that turbo engines will give very less mileage if you drive very short distances and in bumper to bumper traffic. For mostly highway drives, I will suggest Skoda for mileage, driving dynamics and safety.
engine performance and long term usage k liye which one will be better Tigun ya Kushak? and after 4 yrs kounsa brand maintain karne main asan hoga. there is biggest problem I think about service network jo bahut hi kaam hai, did you face any problem with VW or Skoda ? please share your opinion
I haven’t never faced with service network as in Delhi NCR there are so many options. You can buy for 4 or 5 years service package. And choose Kushaq or Taigun depending upon the points mentioned in the video
Aapne jitne reasons bataye usse saabit hota hain ki Indian head Ashish Gupta aur Skoda ka mujhe pata nahi inko yeh sab problems ko jaldi sudharna hoga nahi toh log aise kaaran ke wajah se Korean manufacturers mein chale jaayenge.. faaltu ke features aur aise chote issues ko wajah se achha gaadi miss kar jaayenge
Hill start assist toh bohot bada cheating hain VW customers ke saath.. Aur woh cruise control ki baat sahi hain..yeh apne puraane Rapid Octavia se waise hii aa raha hain aur yeh logon ke itne bhi koshish nahi Kari ki VW jaise easy kare

There is no inbuilt active tyre pressure sensor on VW and Skoda. The low tyre pressure is detected using Speed sensor of each tyre. It sense the difference in tyre rotation speed and inform about low tyre pressure. If u install Active TPMS then you will be able to monitor the tyre pressure on your mobile app, and the current passive tyre deflation warnings will still continue to work.
Sir apke videos ka hame bahot intezar raheta hain.....or ek bat meri vw 1.0 topline mt me 7500 + km driven hogya or oil change service dikha raha hain to kya karu
You can use sports mode at any speed. Nothing to worry about low speed. Even you can use in bumper to bumper traffic. Mostly you can use S mode on uphills for more power, downhills for better engine braking, bumper to bumper traffic for avoiding frequent change of gear between D1 and D2.
You have forgot a key difference bw VW and Skoda. For mid variant VW provides normal halogen headlight while Skoda provides LED. Rest, i do agree with most of your points although my Kushaqs roof material quality is pretty robust. Not sure why your friend's came off with pressure 😅 Regarding 1.0 vs 1.5 I've personally observed my 1.5 dsg gear lever to feel more premium and smooth compared to my friend's 1.0 TC gear lever.
Sir, I am first time car buyer, please suggest skoda kushaq 1.0 or VW Tiagun 1.0 , which will be better?? Highway and city Uses , please 24:57 suggest?
@@DirectShift That is GT Sport variant. I have purchased it recently. 1.5 version is called GT Plus Sport. Apart from engine few cosmetic changes in 1.5 like GT badging. 1.0 GT line was launched few months back.
Very underrated channel but I don't understand why.... Anyway, such an elaborate but easy to understand explanation. Loved watching every second of it. Thanks for making such unbiased and informative videos. Keep up the good work. 😊
@@DirectShift Sir you mention TC is piece of mind.. so why you say 1.5? . And after 5-6 yr VW has no resale value - and Skoda Slavia or VW Virtus or TAIGUN.. given the challenges you mention I am thinking of Honda City- old and tested. Only Automatic is all I am looking for no constrain on budget for now.
Yes, VW Virtus has this feature only in Topline, GT and all AT variants. I mentioned that it's not there in Highline MT variant, but it's there in Slavia Ambition MT variant
Not in Highlline MT. We have coded so many Highline MT variants to enable this so I can confirm this. Not sure if they have started offering this feature in 2024 model cars. Can you please confirm if your car is 2024 or old manufacturing if it’s Highline MT
@@Tarunoberoivlogs if ur from delhi than diesel doesnt make sense. If u live elsewhere then diesel is fine its not going to get banned atleast for next 10 to 15 years
One of the reason for us ditching Monte Carlo edition was that 8 inch infotainment. You are spot on with your observation. Obviously we opted for Taigun as it provided wireless car plug and play. It didn't make any sense for us to pay ~19 lakhs and get wired infotainment system.
