First Time Watching - 3 Idiots - MOVIE REACTION! 

The whole Asia was shook after this movie was released. I still remember how great of an impact it had on education systems all over the world. Finally a movie talking about the mental health awareness, questioning the system and teaching us to live the way we want. I love this movie so much. I rush of nostalgia I got while watching it again with you is something I can't describe

It's a tradition at this point that every reactor to Indian movies have to get into that Amir khan streak.

Sonam Wangchuk is the personality that inspired the fictional character of Phunsukh Wangdu(Rancho)in this film. He is an engineer from Ladakh, India who has contributed significantly to technological revolutions in the field of education and learning.

Didn't expect you to react to this, but I'm glad you did. This movie was very popular among college students in my country (The Philippines). I heard it also made an impact in South Korea and other Asian countries back in the early 2010s. And rightfully so. Cause this movie is a masterpiece. Besides the message of following your dreams and challenging the system, I in particular love how it doesn't invalidate the reality of poverty too. Raju is very relatable to many people struggling to make ends meet and being the hope of their family. And higher education is their ticket, for them and their family, out of our harsh environment (something so many of us face). Underneath the wackiness, the message cuts deep - especially in Asian societies (South Asian, East Asian, and Southeast Asian, at least) as honor-shame culture are prevalent while being pressured to provide a better life for your family. But it 's great that 3 idiots is even more universal with its message of empathy and challenging societal norms and the system.

As a Vietnamese, I've never been so excited about an American watching an Indian movie before. I adore this movie as a kid and I'm still holding it dearly

I love the subtle foreshadowing that Virus and the Idiots patched things up via the fact that Virus barely seems bothered when they show up at Pia's wedding and run off with her

Hi, I have seen many foreigners and RU-vidr react to this movie "3 Idiots" but i haven't seen anyone like you who has connected and understood this movie so well. You really did understand the dialogues and the emotional scenes very well. This is one of my most fav film of all time.

Taare Zameen Par is a must watch . It was a movie which was shown in my school when I was in the 3rd grade and boy did it give children like me a purpose in life . But do keep tissues handy :)

Another must-watch Aamir Khan movie is "Taare Zameen Par (Every Child is Special)"...a bit slow-paced since its older but story-wise, a great movie.

Ah, I remember how wonderful it was to experience "RRR" with you- you have such an open and soothing presence. And you express your emotions so beautifully. This movie absolutely broke me, and then put me back together (and then repeated and repeated and repeated 🤣) I grew up in the US with parents who were from first-generation immigrants and VERY strict about education, and I spent over 10 yrs teaching ESL abroad in countries where kids take exams at 15 or 16 to even PLACE on a register for university, and if they don't get a good score, they are immediately shut out of the top-tier institutions for the rest of their life. The pressure is just insane. After the pandemic, I've been working on doing what *I* want to do to enrich my world, and this movie pushes me in all the right directions. Loved re-watching it with you!

It's yesterday when I lost my very close school friend who with I spent 5 years in school. I don't know what made him to do this but he ended up his own life at 17 years of age. The story of joy (the drone boy in the movie) made me to connect - Sorry I dont have will to type any longer.

Aamir khan probably has best filmography in Bollywood then any other actors. It’s very rare that he makes bad movies.

Shahrukh Khan is kind of the Tom Cruise of movies in that he's in a lot and is super popular and a massive name, but Aamir Khan takes on very few projects in comparison but only movies that mean a lot to him and have an important message so he's also a very well known name and people will anticipate his movies a lot. Definitely worth watching more!

YOOO, I watched this movie in the theatres when I was 12 and have consistently rewatched it since it's one of my favorites, but never got the connection that Virus metaphorically killed JOY, that's such a good observation and now I'm in even more awe of the writers for being that clever in naming the characters too
