Xiao doesn't have a teaser, but he has an animated short "Endless Suffering". Great to watch with Tsubaki in a thawing snow, which is about Kamisato Ayaka. Also will be good to watch a story teaser "Yakshas: the guardian adepti" that also is about Xiao in a way. Well, the story teasers are a whole feast to watch.
The thing about Xiao is that he doesn't really have a teaser like the characters you watched here. They only recently released a short trailer for him a few months back and his other main videos are story teasers instead. As far as I remember you watched all of the "Character Teasers" but there are a few other character specific videos like Ayaka's short trailer that you could still watch.

wanderer is heavily inspired by Bohemian Rhapsody like one of his previous names being Scaramouche and his collected miscellany video is named "Any Way The Wind Blows" and several other signs also found it funny that in one of his voice lines he says "I'm not a fan of dango" 😭
Just wanted to say that there is a daily mission in Mondstadt where you helping a boy to find ingridients to cure his sister's rare disease. And about a year now throuh doing it couple of times you CAN cure her for real. AND it was actually Baizhu recipe! It was such a shock for me when I get just about who they were talking in his teaser. Good for Anna.
The whole chain quest is awesome, after you heal Anna you'll have several commissions from her brother to find her in town (after being cured she becomes hyperactive and tries to make up for the time lost due to her illness, doing stunts like climbing the highest buildings and so on) and in the end you'll even help her to become a full-fledged Adventurer.

Albedo is klee's adopted older brother and they definitely play off each other. I find Klee to be the implusive chaos maker that encourages Albedo to try new things while Albedo serves as the calming energy that can get Klee to relax but still encourages her chaos.

not sure if you know this from someone telling you, but you using bohemian rhapsody for wanderer's intro section is PERFECT. it would be amazing if you don't fully know it yet, because wanderer's entire character is a bohemian rhapsody reference. so, to quickly unpack it: his old name was scaramouche, and his theme is called "ominous fandango" another theme belonging to him is called "rhapsodia roscidia" the name of one of his trailers is "any way the wind blows" a big focus of his character and backstory is his mother, who sometimes goes by the name beelzebul, and who commands thunder and lightning. and as shown in this teaser, he says that he wishes he was never born at all. also, the translated lyrics to another one of his themes, "polumia omnia" end with the line "I wish I was never born at all" too. these things all reference the lyrics of bohemian rhapsody (or the title of the song itself).
It was a pleasant coincidence. While editing I just thought about his character, and then him saying the line. Figured that it fit. T'was all just insight. :) I didn't know about scaramouche or Beelzebub, etc. Until some had told me in this comment section. Haha
As for "The Wanderer", he has another trailer in the hand-drawn style of the story "Teaser: The "divine" will." I also advise you to listen to the song Polumnia Omnia from his boss battle with translated subtitles. Beidou is an excellent four star character. It’s a crime that she doesn’t have her own demo and trailer. She’s a captain of a ship, and from Liyue - whereas Kazuha is from Inazuma. But now they both travel the seas.
Yeah, it's really strange that she has no demo or teaser. Lorewise she is a beast, that is beheading sea-monsters, and that even before getting her Vision^^

Initial 4* chars don't have demos apart from Kaeya, Xiangling and Fischl. Kaeya appears in the archon quest very early, Xiangling has a story quest also very early in the game and Fischl appeared in the event back then. Beidou's first appearance in the story came one patch before Inazuma, there was zero reason to give her a demo in the beginning.
Albedo is foreshadowed as having the potential for bringing a great calamity upon the land and I have to respect your ability to glean that his character has unseen potentials merely from a short teaser.
I love your reactions. I like to watch people as they react to Nahida's teaser, because it's a quick and simple test of their empathy and sympathy abilities. If you don't tear up during that teaser, it's okay, but if you do, it means you can appreciate art and you have a beautiful soul, which makes me even more hyped for your genshin playthrough, whenever it comes. Cheers! /Edit Oh, and about Ayaka, she doesn't go to festivals not because of fear of assassination, as she's an extremely capable fighter and can definitely take care of herself, but more because it would seem inappropriate of someone of her status to appear in person and participate in a festival with common folk. Also, she'd be concerned about causing too much commotion; people wouldn't know how to behave in her presence and wouldn't be able to enjoy the festival, so she stays away from all of that.

Oh, the Fatui theme is one of the most interesting. They really act as "villains", but in fact the true goals of the Tsaritsa (archon of the Snezhnaya from where Fatui are ) are unknown. There are many theories that her purpose may actually be quite good, but the organization uses every means and opportunity, often ruining the lives of others. Childe is a very interesting character, and the Traveler finds out about his true identity at some point in the story, but that doesn't stop them from being friends. In fact, all playable characters are "companions" of the traveler, because all of them, to a greater or lesser extent, are on good terms with him. (Although one can argue about the Wanderer, but in fact we were shown his story just to better understand him when he was released as a playable character). By the way, you are right about the fact that it is like a Wanderer from the future thinking about his past. About Shenhe: her master is an adept, she has both the shape of a crane and the shape of a human. In her teaser, her past was revealed a little, because the main part lies in the plot. a quick fact: Fischl's story is quite sad and deep too! In the version 2.8 we had an amazing event with mirages representing the inner worlds of 4 different characters, and Fischl was one of them (along with Kazuha, Mona and Xinyan). Fischl's story really touched me in many aspects, and I cried a lot during the gameplay, because I could resonate so much with her thoughts, feelings and way of dealing with the real world. Although she seems to be a simple chuunibyou, there is quite a lot of darkness in her development (my personal take), and the relations between reality and fantasy, growth and past, and others are there.
I can recommend you to watch the Story teasers! Tho it needs to be said, if you plan to play the game by yourself it can certainly contain some huge spoilers, depending where you are/stopped in the game. Non the less, the teasers provide alot of interaction between characters and give great insight into different things of the world! Loving the Genshin reactions and your thoughts afterwards, such a joy :D
Genshin is stuffed with lore, and the characters all have their own healthy chunk as well. And there are plenty of characters that are only tangentially introduced in the demos and teasers, like Beidou, Jean, Xiangling, Sucrose, and more. When you get to the character dives you are planning, there is going to be plenty of content to draw from. Also, faces of Genshin.
Ooo thank you for your insights on all the teasers on all the faces of Genshin 👀 Eula's is so cool and adds a lot of history to the background of Mondstadt, you're right. The three clans she mentions all have their descendants in the story with Jean, Diluc and Eula herself. Also if you're ever interested there's a manga where the first part is focused on the time of the Lawrences' tyrany. In Kazuha's trailer Beidou is the captain of the Crux fleet who are merchants/privateers(?) from Liyue working for the leader of Liyue's government, Ninguangg (who also is kind of hinted at being Beidou's girlfriend). Shenhe's master is a so called 'adepti'. Powerful, mystical beings who show up in the history of Liyue and the game either in their animal/beast form or as a human. With Ayato and Ayaka (tho it's more about Ayaka) there's also a short trailer called "Tsubaki in Thawing Snow" that shows more of their interaction and is also beautifully animated if you're interested 😊 Yelan being the head intelligence officer of Ninguangg puts her on the list of ridiculously hot ladies running that country (I swear, her, Ninguangg, Ganyu, Kequing, Beidou...yeah. I'd hang out in Liyue a lot). Simping her is so valid 🤣 Nahida's story is stunning. I also can't wait to see your in depth looks into different characters' trailers and demos. I'll have to say while the trailer in itself is stunning already playing the story in the game where you get to meet her adds yet another layer of meaning to it that always baffles me. I'm really glad you enjoyed the teasers truly 😊

Pretty much correct but I'd like to point out a small detail about beidou. She doesn't work for/with ningguang. Also, her being a pirate and not a merchant crew (now she doesn't plunder other ships just to be clear). She's friends with ningguang thats why we see them together on several occasions. (and as for her relationship with ningguang it's merely fans shipping their favorite characters)
@@TheRoschi I would like to add something about Yoimiya. She's the current owner of Nagonahara Fireworks; it's her family business. Her family is said to have the oldest and best fireworks shop in all of Inazuma. Along with fireworks, they also sell knickknacks that are beloved by both children and adults, and they also run the Naganohara Fireworks Show during summer festival. Yes, Yoimiya is loved by the people of Narukami Island, but I personally think when the people of Narukami said it wouldn't be the same without her, it was a combination of both her nice, joyful, and outgoing personality and also her family's fireworks show. They specifically mention her, probably because she is a nice person that everyone likes and also the current owner of Nagonahara Fireworks. The people of Narukami called her the Queen of the Summer Festival. The round colorful thing that has some black substances that she did at the beginning of her teaser video is actually a fireworks bomb, and they show a fireworks display behind her as the people of Narukami tell Traveler and Paimon their answer. I'm sure you know that fireworks are the most important part and highlight of the summer festival in Japan. This is not a fact but rather just my personal opinion of her based on what I know about her character and her teaser video. Fireworks is even part of her story quest.
honestly I kinda cant wait hearing your comments on Nahida's teaser since last time I saw you watching character demos lol. I‘d say it's the deepest teaser ever since and the part of Nahida's back story it revealed, had terribly saddened me for almost a whole day. But I love the way they made this teaser and the message how it delivered through the the music, the visual art and the script, every thing are so perfect. meanwhile, Dehya's teaser itself is a legend recently because the day when the teaser was released, tens of thousands of genshin players from cn community donated their money to a charitable fund called "Project Hope" which aimed at improving educational level and live conditions of children in poor rural areas of China, and soon the target amount was achieved within 5 days, jesus I mean it‘s definitely the best news I have ever heard from a game.
Beidou is a pirate in charge of the Crux crew. Her ship, the Alcor, is the one you pointed out at the beginning. She and Lisa are the original Electro mommies and I adore both of them.
27:25 That is Captain Beidou. She is the captain of The Crux ("The Southern Cross") a renowned armed fleet based in Liyue. Beidou is know as the Uncrowned Lord of the Ocean for her great streng. She was capable of slaying the leviathan Haishan without having a vision (the thing that gives chatacters their powers.) Yeah i know pirate mommy😊
Beidou is basically the pirate queen. She's a very well known figure and originally from Liyue but travels all across the world. She also knows Ningguang, the lady that basically rules over Liyue that lives in the floating palace above Liyue harbor.

Watching people's reactions to Nahida's teaser is always a treat. Her's and Raiden Shogun's are very simple and very effective. Nahida's with the same few sentences in different tones and Raiden Shogun's with nearly no dialogue. Both are very much worthy of being revisited after knowing their stories. Anyway, About the Fatui. They are one of two (known) antagonistic forces to the main plot of the game. The leader of the Fatui, the Cryo Archon (Known as the Tsaritsa), has big plans for the world of Teyvat. Those plans are still a mystery to the players. The Harbingers, of which Childe is among their ranks, are essentially her Generals. All 11 of them have their own goals and it's not currently known if they particularly care about the Tsaritsa's end goals or are more interested in getting the resources needed for their own goals. They all appear to be very selfish and against the status quo of the world. Childe is a bit of an exception. All he wants is to have a good fight and he actually is interested in seeing the end goals of the Tsaritsa realized. At the end of the day, though, he's still Fatui. The Main Character is still very wary around him and still considers him dangerous and not to be fucked with. I feel the best way to describe this relationship is to say he's like Namek Saga Vegeta. He's not an active threat to the main character, but they begrudgingly work with him because (when they do meet up) it's typically in both of their interests to not fight each other. Also, neat little tidbit about the Baizhu teaser, it's actually something that happens in the game. Anthony is an early game NPC whom you help get medications for in daily commisions. This includes getting him the Dendro processed berries mentioned in the teaser.
Lets just say around 80% of ur answer can be found by playing the main story and characters stories. The rest is on characters profile and some items/ world lore

As for Shenhe, there is actually a whole chapter of the main quest that kinda revolves around her and Yunjin. It ends with Yunjin's Opera performance about Shenhe's past and is still one of the best cutscenes in Genshin EVER. It made sooo many people cry. So you are only getting a tease here

There is a few paragraphs about Beidou on the Genshin Wiki, not just Beidou, any character actually. Beidou is a playable electro character from Liyue. She's the captain of an armed ship named The Crux. I'd say that she's a very likeable character when it comes to her personality.

As a proud Tighnary main, I can say the first thought of mine when I saw him was "dude looks like his mom dressed all the best things she found in a wardrobe" 😂 But he is so precious, so kind and carrying, I love him A LOT. I’m late but festivals won’t be complete without yoimiya because she brings all the fireworks and the fun with her. Fireworks are beautiful, mesmerising but they are only temporary. However, the friendships you make and celebrate a festival with will last a lifetime. That’s as beautiful as fireworks is at that moment. Truly beautiful.

But the lore is so great and some characters have strong deep stories, starting with nahida (ps: the happy birthday loop isn't random, u gotta play the game and see for yourself), Scaramouche aka wanderer aka Kunikuzishi aka the balladeer aka.....(well, not gonna say the last one, spoilers) yeah u got my point. Many characters have so much to tell. I don't know how the separate series that you gonna do will work, like just trailers? Or lore videos or something. Glad you enjoyed! There will be a lot of research, the length I will go with it is uncertain as of right now, but I'll most likely be consuming a lot of content, including moment from the story, and things that are written up. It's a long ways away before I start because I want to make them gooood and it'll take time.
beidou is the captain of the ship from liyue, really much respected person in liyue harbor, everyone knows her, free-spirited woman, in a close relationships with ningguang, who’s probably the most powerful woman in liyue
All the Archons along with Albedo and Wanderer imo have some very great stories. Though so much of Albedo and wanderer's stories were infact only available in limited events. But these characters are so complex and very interesting. Hope you enjoy going into a deep dive into them more.
@@fluorescent_shrimp He's talking about 1.1 Unreconciled Stars. That's the first time we ever meet him and it's a very important lore event. Other than that (and a few other event mentions) tho he is very centered on the main story.

Scaramouche, also known as Kunikuzushi ("Country Destroyer") or by his Fatui codename "Balladeer." Scaramouche was created as a concept to test Ei's plans for an indestructible Gnosis-bearing puppet. With his creation accomplished, Ei decided to leave him in a slumbering state, free from her control, as he had cried upon his creation. After awakening, Scaramouche came to believe that she had deemed him a failure and abandoned him. Following two other "betrayals," he started to hate both gods and humanity, taking on the name "Kunikuzushi" while wandering Inazuma and joining the Fatui as The Sixth Fatui Harbinger, The Balladeer. This fight takes place after he cut contact with the Fatui and tried to become a god using Ei's Gnosis and the help of the Akademiya. After we beat him he has an internal crisis because he dosen't know enymore what is the right thing to do. But then with the help of Irminsul "tree of knowlege" he erase his past self from existence and take on the "name" Wanderer.

Klee really is a good girl. shes still young (like 8 years old if i remember) and she really does have the best of intentions. if you play the game at some point and go through her quest you'll see what i mean. in game she also has voices lines that are pretty much all "Lisa is the best" "Albedo is the best",lines like that. the first summer event we had sent us to islands risen up and mechanized by her mother (Alice) just so klee and all the people who she loves and love her back could have a good time. as for nahida,theres 3 scenarios we see in her teaser. the first is what SHOULD have happened after she was imprisoned by the sages. the second is what ACTUALLY happened and the third was was originally happened. her birth after the death of greater lord rukkhadeveta and her imprisonment by the very people who she was meant to watch over and lead.

I might be a little biased addressing specifically Scaramouche, but there are so meny details in the character demo especially, that are very clever. I dont know in what way yoy plan on going into the lore, but everytjifg starting from choice of instruments, to regional influences in the track, down to a few specific scenes and his interaction with the little bird all very intricately convey both his story and his personality - what influenced it and how it is now. And i can not stress this enough, i feel like his music is a very big part of it all.
I am currently looking at all the teasers, trailers, shorts, miscellany, etc as of now, coming up with my own theories. I'll be listening to some music stuff too. Then eventually I'll be playing the game and documenting that play through. I'll then go back and revisit my theories, correct myself, and do other deeper research off on the side so I can write up character studies and turn those into videos that will be released over time. It's a project that will be in the works for a loooonng time, but I'm not in a hurry either. I learned that Wanderer is heavily inspired by Bohemian Rhapsody, which I made a reference to in this video BEFORE I even knew (had no idea he was also called Scaramouche) XD

As someone who is very invested in Genshin's lore and characters, it always makes me happy to see someone taking their stories and details seriously through their demos, teasers etc, and continuing to play the game to learn more about them. Oh also. 27:20 Yeah that's Beidou other known as the Lord of the Ocean who captains the greatest fleet to ever sail the high sees. She's also well known for fighting and chopping the head off a sea monster said to have the power of a god all while she didn't have a vision(aka powers). Not a very popular character since she's one of the original set of characters and requires actual skill to play but us Beidou mains are few and strong. Trust
They really did us dirty by releasing Wanderer's teaser right after Nahida's, haha Btw, there's 2 more character teasers that weren't included here, since they were released after their respective characters: Xiao's "Endless Suffering" and Kamisato Ayaka's second teaser "Tsubaki in Thawing Snow". There are also Story Teasers, but I don't recommend watching any of those if you plan on playing the game, since they contain a lot of spoilers.
I'm not sure if I plan on playing the game anytime soon so those story teasers are kinda just up in the air for now. I plan on doing the version trailers next. :) And thank you for the names of those videos! I'll look into them and do something about that.
Told ya Nahida teaser got cut above the rest, got your heart strings in an almost artistic way, could be material for a cinematographic short contest, makes you wonder about the deep story of a seemingly multi million cash making free gacha waifus Chinese game, becase you don't make that kind of success just offering characters in many colors, as a phenomenon in the game industry, game music, world building, character design, is worth analyzing, just to answer why it's so popular, again I can just recommend this youtuber Necrit who came close to get an answer getting himself in over 700+ hours of game to get an impartial analysis of this weird thing called Genshin Impact. Beido is the captain of the crux (the ship where their conversation happened in the teaser), she is also a 4 star character from liyue, and for some reason she didnt have any trailer/teaser. She is an important character story-wise, but I dont want to spoil anything.
If you want to do deeper dives into each of the characters, why not play the game? Each character has their own story quest(some have 2, like Nahida), not to mention the main story is really good too.
Simply because time is a luxury. Perhaps one day I'll be in a better position where I can do that, hopefully. I'm not against the idea, things just have to work out a certain way as of now. :)
I've seen some reactions, but they are usually "umm, yeah. Cool." with an awkward smile. Rarely who stops to think, to process. Nahida's trailer for example. So far we met 4 archons, 5th is on the horizon. But so far Nahida is my favorite, and the majority agrees. Sure other three did grand things and had their own tragedies. But the things she's done for Summer and Teyvat as whole impress me.
Deep dive of any kind would be great as this man certainty pays attention and puts thought in his analysis. If there are no plans to play the game, may be reacting to cutscenes (and character quests, for deep dives into them) would be a whole another load of content. I know i'd love to see that.

Nahida's story is a tough one to swallow. Even these days, when I play Genshin, walk through Sumeru city and hear a melody from her demo... It's just freaking flashbacks every time

I was really caught off guard by how moved you were by Nahida’s teaser; it’s certainly sad (especially with more context) but most people don’t think too hard about it on the first watch. I appreciate that you were able to get so much from what little was said. After Dehya's Teaser was released, a lot (hundreds to thousands) of Chinese players were motivated and actually donated to China’s Project of Hope charity, a charity for underprivileged children.
If you are going to do these long reactions, might I suggest "The Mystery Of The Bomb Collar Bank Heist" by Wendigoon. It's a great true crime story with twists and turns. You'll love it.

Just before Nahida was released. I was having a burnout from playing, then her teaser came. it motavatede me to play it again. . . Why, because the words "Save the child" ran on repeat in my mind.
Zhongli spoiler! . . . Zhongli is the wealthiest person in Teyvat when you first meet him in the game. So wealthy that the second richest person is infinitely less rich. He doesn’t even understand the concept of not being able to spend money or to bargain.
@@fluorescent_shrimp Zhongli himself says that mora can’t be created without using “Geo Archon’s power” which requires tapping into Celestia. Since he lost his gnosis, he no longer has access to Celestia therefore can’t create mora anymore. Also “Archon powers” are different than personal abilities. All the archons were already powerful before becoming one. And after the Archon War there wasn’t any one left who could challenge them so they didn’t need to use their Archon powers. That’s why losing the gnosis doesn’t mean much to them.
@@FBl gnosis is not geo archon's power It's Zhongli's power as an adeptus. The only reason he wouldn't create mora anymore is because he wants to live as a mortal.
