I don't believe they will disband. The speculation arises because k-pop contracts are for 7 years, and after that the artists decide if they want to renew. The girls have so much good offers to leave YG, especially Lisa, who has overseas offers, so YG will have to pay a lot to keep them. And if they leave YG, they can negotiate to get the Blackpink brand. But they're more likely to go to Black Label, which is a subsidiary of YG that the CEO is their producer Teddy, and still YG.
Yes. There really is no substantial evidence indicating that any of the members plans to leave or that the company doesn't want to re-sign with them. Other than Kpop gossip media spreading rumors of disbandment around for clicks and views, it seems like most of the rumors and claims of disbandment come from the wishful thinking of fans of "rival" groups.

I think Yg will try not to be so financially dependent on BP and the girls would probably prefer to work with just Teddy rather than Yg. They need dedication from an agency since they're global. Many labels have offered the members big deals to leave YG. Lisa in particular was offered around 81 Milllion $USD to leave YG. She hasn't taken the deal though. I doubt she would leave blackpink randomly. However, to clear up the speculation, in Kpop there is a "7 Year Curse" because many groups decide to disband at the end of their contract which typically last 7yrs. Blackpink's contract ends in August 2023 so they can choose to disband or renew. No one has spoken on the topic but people hope they renew but others are not so optimistic.

Everybody has different journeys. I started out as a fan of Lee Hi. That made me aware of Blackpink (since they were under the same label). It was then Lisa who pulled me into the Blackpink world (which has been a lot of fun). Originally, before I saw any Blackpink performances, I saw some fan-made video that showed the Blackpink members interacting with each other. Lisa's antics and humor made me laugh so much that I figured I should check out more of the group. And now, several years later, I'm still a fan.
All real-world indications are that Blackpink will continue as a group for at least several more years. The rumors that they will disband are just based on sketchy gossip and misinformation. (A lot of the tabloid-like Kpop gossip media is responsible for spreading it around like manure, while pretending that they are reporting "news".) The only real basis is the standard 7-year Kpop artist contract (longer-term contracts are generally unenforceable in Korea). The BP members' contracts expire this year. So, theoretically, there is a possibility of not renewing, and that makes it possible for people to wonder whether or not they will renew their contracts. But, so far, none of the members has indicated any desire to leave their company (YG Entertainment) or the group. The thing about Lisa leaving is just based on a story that some companies have offered her huge amounts to sign up with them if she leaves BP. But there are no details about what any such companies' plans or conditions are, or even if they are companies that have a solid history. Most importantly, Lisa has never indicated any desire to leave BP. Comparing Blackpink to 2NE1 is another bogus thing that is used by the gossipers. 2NE1 was YG Entertainment's main girl group before Blackpink. They were "officially" disbanded after their first 7 years. So some people claim that YGE will treat Blackpink the same way at the end of Blackpink's first 7 years. It really makes no sense because the circumstances are very different. 2NE1 "officially" disbanded in November 2016 (after Blackpink's debut), but had really ceased to function as an active group after 2014. They were a 4-member group. One of the members actually announced in March 2016 her decision not to re-sign with YGE, several months before her 7-year contract expired. So 2NE1 was basically really disbanded at that point. YGE also refused to renew the contract of another member. Two other members did re-sign with YGE, but really just as individuals. Meanwhile, BP is currently more active and more popular than ever at this point. Their most recent major music release occurred just a few months ago. Companies are clamoring to sign them up as brand representatives, etc., etc. So there really is no significant parallel with 2NE1. Also, the reasons that the gossipers give to support their notion that BP will break up are mutually contradictory. On one hand, they say that YGE will not renew the contract because YGE just wants to replace them with a younger group (the false parallel with the 2NE1 situation). On the other hand, they say that YGE is desperate to re-sign Blackpink, but it will be almost impossible because the BP members want to look for better deals. Bottom line: There really is no solid basis for thinking that they will not continue to be together as a group. The only substance behind that rumor is the fact that their initial 7-year contract expires this year. YGE has had several groups/artists continue after the initial 7-year contract period.
Maybe the difference between dance practice and dance performance video is in dance practice the camera work focus on angle that always show all the members so that the viewers can see the whole choreography clearly (if they want to practice it) while in dance performance they can do any camera works whatever they want(doesn't have to show all the members all the time) but still focus on the dance/choreography. Or maybe the difference is the place they take the video (dance practice room or any studio whatever they want). Correct me if I'm wrong guys 😀😀😀

It was just speculations. Because YG Entertainment (their label) used to disband the older girl group when debuting a new one. 2NE1 disbanded when Blackpink debuted, so fans are scared that Blackpink will disband because BabyMonster is about to debut. But it's highly doubted since Blackpink is like one of the biggest artists. Also Blackpink is known to go on long hiatus (a marketing strategy) so people are assuming them to disband during the next hiatus.
Yes, that's what some people say. But the circumstances of 2NE1 and Blackpink are really very different. Blackpink debuted in August 2016. 2NE1 "officially" disbanded in November 2016, so (if that's all anyone really knows) on the surface it can LOOK like YG just dumped 2NE1 as soon as it was clear that Blackpink was a successful group. In reality, however, 2NE1 stopped functioning as an active group after 2014. Minzy announced in March 2016 that she was leaving the group. YGE also did not renew Bom's contract, so she was also out. That all happened BEFORE Blackpink even debuted. In November 2016, really only CL and Dara remained under contract (as individuals) with YGE. When Blackpink debuted, 2NE1 had already had no activity for 2 years and there was no concert tour scheduled, no comeback scheduled and no music releases scheduled. Totally different from Blackpink's current situation.
