Soifon can be annoying sometimes, she's rough, hothead, pretty young compared to other captains who are hundreds of years old or more, but that's how she was brought up, and that trauma only made it worse. I love that backstory, it shows you her caring and vulnerable side, and that doesnt extend only to Yoruichi, Soifon can be a really good person. Like most characters in Bleach, she's in a gray area, but I can only imagine the suffering she went through after she was abandoned for a hundred years by the person she cared the most who disappeared without taking her or saying goodbye. The reason for that will come later on in the show. The next episodes are PEAK, dont blink!
Hollows can go into the Soul Society, but its where the most soul reapers are. Remember the Rukia backstory with Kaien Shiba and the hollow that fuses together with soul reapers to control them? Happened in the Soul Society.
Ichigo is 16 at this point! He was 15 at the start of the story, which, except for the anniversary of his mother's death, never really did much with actual dates, although later comments tell us the story starts in May. Ichigo's birthday is shown in his profile written by Kubo to be in July, and this rescue of Rukia ostensibly takes place at the end of his summer vacation period, which would put it towards the end of August...which means Ichigo very quietly turned 16 right before the Soul Society arc.
@@Fresc0 It really shows how complacent the soul society was as well. They allowed this to happen so easily and we see a bigger example of where their complacency got them in the next few episodes. I do feel a bit bad for Byakuya in one area though. It's how quickly and easily Ichigo was able to match his power. He had only like a month to train himself and he closed the gap which was two lifetimes of training for Byakuya. The reason Ichigo closed the gap so easily will become clear in give or take two to three hundred episodes.
Personally I like Soi Fon. Her, Kenpachi, and Ukitake are my favorite active capitans in this part of Bleach. The backstory with Yuroichi actually proved she had a heart and emotions, even if extremely well guarded. I like the 3 of them because they all have deeply personal drives that are almost unstoppable in their own rights. And each vastly different from the others.
@@Fresc0 Bleach is a wild ride man, I hope you enjoy it. There are a lot of fillers so you may want to follow the main story first (it helps, there are a ton of fillers). After the soul society arc I'd be interested in hearing who you liked best etc. Bleach is a very vibrant world with character types, so there really is no wrong answers
the jumping very old school Bleach but i will tell you gonna have to deal with the jumping it because there is So many Fights Going that the reason Kubo Writing is Very Different the way they Fix the Jumping with get better torward tybw HuecoMundo Has Some Rough Spot the any anime is Very Rough From the Early 2000 they are actually talking about remake of the original
@@Fresc0 if you ever get to further into the series, he starts screaming ban kai. And it's so good in the original. The first time here he's really calm about it
