Anthony was such a mood this season. All his lines are so quotable. My personal favorites are from the conversation between him Colin and Kate. "Kate: Two glasses are celebratory, a whole bottle is a cry for help. Anthony, whispering to Colin: I drank a bottle the night before my wedding, my second wedding. And it was deeply celebratory ."-underrated lines.

In regards to the "entrapment" comment: No, it wasn't ok, it's a very hurtful thing to say, but I think it's logical. It was either Rizzo or Benji earlier in the season that mentioned keeping this secret is similar to the Marina drama where she was planning to entrap him. His comment is basically a trigger response, a reflex to a past trauma. Yes, women in this society get screwed over THE most, but as a man in this society, Colin was super humiliated. He PUBLICLY announced his engagement to Marina & then LW says "yep, THAT guy was about to raise another man's child." Patriarchy hurts everyone! And while he did lead Pen to the room alone, Colin did take his time, asked for consent/checked in like 3 times, and the sex scene showed us Pen's personality of still taking initiative, so I don't believe that the encounter was super one-sided. I just wanted to chime in on this one because people are acting like that was this heinous, unforgiveable, out of character moment where I don't think it was. Plus, from personal experience, when we were both of sound mind, my husband and I established what jabs are 100% below the belt & unacceptable in our relationship. We've had some really bad arguments & we've both said VERY hurtful things but they weren't those established below-the-belt hits. But we were worked through it all & still very happy!

I don't care, I'll fight anybody on this: Luke Newton ATE the revelation scene! I would give him an Emmy nomination for those 30 seconds alone! I've honestly rewatched it so many times because you can really see his heartbreak almost more than his anger. He was teary-eyed and right when Pen nodded in confirmation that she is LW, his tears FINALLY fell! OMG! And it fits his character so well that he would be more of a crier when angry than raging (like Anthony would be). And throughout this episodes, his eyes were always glassy when speaking to Pen in anger. Ugh...Luke....the actor that you ARE!

I love pen and Colin's relationship- they have the strongest most realistic relationship I have seen so far and I love it- they pick up when something is wrong with the other, Colin gives her space to tell when she is ready. I love that when they talk outside of the modiste he is actively listening- he asks her questions, he doesn't yell at her, he stays calm, he doesn't run away, and she genuinely answers them - it's clear it's more about his jealousy and his fear for her safety then her actually being whistledown. I love that she sips up onto the sidewalk so that they are at eye level, he is not towering over her, they are equal, it was a power move and it was amazing. The steamy scene that follows afterwards I love and have rewatched multiple times. When he said that she entrapped him he clearly said that out of pain and anger (which he is entitled too), because she didn't entrap him- he is the one who initiated sex, both in the carriage and the mirror (checking both times before continuing) she repeatedly gives him an out and he doesn't take it because he knows deep down that she didn't do that he is just deeply hurt that she kept that a secret and he loves her and wants to marry her. If she had entrapped him she wouldn’t give him multiple outs. I love what pen says about what it’s like for women because it’s true- it was amazing watching her stand up to colin in that moment. Women are taught to shield the parts of themselves that are flawed, not perfect, not allowed to be harsh, to call out bullshit in how they are treated- to constantly be mansplained, if tough in the way men are- act the way men do at meetings- automatic bitch, man acts the same way- praised. This also can be applied to nonbinary people regardless if they present more feminine, but especially if they are someone who does present more feme because we are then confused for a woman and continue to get all the mysagonistic bullshit regardless. It has been ingrained in him that it is a mans job to provide for and protect his wife, so when she says she can take care of herself and he says then what good am I to you, you can feel the pain, pen is independent and doesn't need him in that way, she just needs him for him and it takes some time for him to accept the role reversal. it is also obvious that Colin has low self-esteem and a hero complex. I love that penn has the conversation with Genevieve- she is the only person penn could really have the conversation with and it says a lot that it is Genevieve penn goes too not Eloise or anyone else. I love the conversation between Collin and Kate about marriage and whether the information negates how he feels for Penn- great true advice. I love that during their vows Collin is keeping constant eye contact with penn- as well as when they dance. I also love that they kept since season 1 penn and Colin always finding each other at gatherings and purposely spending time with each other- gravitated to each other and they kept that at the reception. The look on Colin's face when he sees penn in her wedding dress was great and this joint nod of ready-ready- I support you and love you and we will do this together. In that nod they shelved their fight and enjoyed their wedding because they genuinely love each other and want to be together- and then the queen had ro ruin it.

Drunk Benedict is always my favorite Benedict. Watching Benji squirm with excitement throughout the whole episode waiting for Benedict's Bi confirmation made me giggle. They've been hinting at it since season 1 and we've been waiting for so long

One of the things that is true to the book is Colin's good alcohol tolerance.

One thing about Eloise is that she stay switchin up. She’ll talk someone’s ear off the whole season about women’s rights and girls support girls, but the moment someone needs her help it’s CRICKETS. She’s nowhere to be found. I also think that that friendship between her and Cressida was made to show that Eloise is truly alone in her mindset in this society. I love her and the way she thinks, but when less privileged women in this cruel society are doing just what they need to do to get by, you gotta respect the hustle 👏🏾
