The last song, "Spring Day," is not only very important to ARMY, but to Korea in general. As a matter of fact, even though this song came out 6 years ago, it's still on the Korean charts. First, RM wrote the song one day while he was walking down by the Han River. He has said he was thinking of those that he and so many have lost, weather if it was a break up, or a friendship ending or losing a loved one. He wanted to help somehow. However, back in April of 2014, a national tragedy happened in Korea. It happens to be called the Sewol ferry disaster. Now out of 476 passengers on board they lost over 306, and 250 of them were students on a school trip. The video, they say is about the disaster, with clues and Easter eggs throughout. Like a clock on the wall resting at the time of the sinking. The song bring comfort to those that lost someone that day, or anyday. Please do yourselves a favor, not only check the video, but an explanation of the video, two really good ones are out there, including a mini documentary about the video and disaster by an Italian ARMY. FYI: “Spring Day” is about missing someone until you can see them again whatever the circumstances, “Save Me” was written during a time when their company Big Hit was going bankrupt and they were all going through an ordeal to keep their careers & the doors afloat and they were reaching out & speaking to the ARMYs & Fans to help them & “Dynamite” was not written by the BTS members (same as “Butter” & “Permission to Dance” - this was written by Ed Sheeran - ) but was meant to cheer people up during the pandemic.

BTS last concerts was in April of 2022 in Las Vegas. The whole city turned purple for BTS and ARMY, for 2 weeks welcoming BTS and Army. BTS had 4 nights of concerts in las vegas, which gross $66 million for those 4 nights. The total that army spent in las vegas for foods, merch, hotels, shopping was estimated around 100 million. plus BTS gross of $66 million, was around $167million. The city of Las Vegas was full of BTS ARMY. I know , because I was there too. If you want you can react to BTS concerts in Las Vegas. It was truely a life changing experince for me. This Tiny Desk performance was filmed during COVID Fall 2020 in Seoul and from what I remember it’s an actual record store. I love V’s voice too, his baritone and wide range is so amazing 🥰 Jimin’s high notes sound so good for a guy because his voice is naturally higher than most men. His voice is powerful but also light. Every now and then we get to hear a low growl out of Jimin that makes ARMY go 😳 Yes, you should react to RM’s Tiny Desk performance. His was also filmed in Seoul but this time they built a replica of the NPR studio (with some BTS touches 😉 check stuff on the shelves in the background). Don’t worry about pausing! ARMY would rather have you pause and process what you saw & heard than talk over something amazing.

The last concert was in October 2022 in Busan. It was amazing. You can watch the full concert or it broken down by song. Enjoy BTS more has the songs with English lyrics. If you want to watch Jimin solo, I suggest Lie live with English subtitles and serendipity live. You will see watching each one solo just how amazing they are individually, which is why BTS as a group is on another level.

So spring day lyrics were written by rm and suga about their old friends who they missed. RM came up with the main melody as he was walking in the park and he saw leaves blowing in the wind. After the song was released , its music video combined with the song gained popularity as a song about missing people in general. Koreans specially use it as tribute for people who have passed away.
RM's initial motivation for the lyrics to 'Spring Day' was missing his friends from before he joined BTS - friends that he saw were going to university, dating, etc... Things that RM couldn't do with his friends anymore.......Suga's lyrics are sadder because he is referencing a friend he had his whole life back in his hometown Daegu, a friend who got into drugs and was imprisoned after Suga left Daegu to go to Seoul to pursue his dream of music....Suga has written about his regret over this lost relationship and anger that his friend went down such a terrible path in other songs, most especially in the song 'Dear My Friend' from his second solo mixtape "D-2"

In the Taylor video you watched on them you saw where Army did a Birthday tribute to Jin it was at the last concert in L. A. we also put these really cool shades made by amazing Army’s over our light bombs that made them look like moons which is the name of one of Jin’s solo songs! He also recorded the Super Tuna while they where there’s. Then they surprised us and came back 4 months later in April to the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas both concerts where 4 nights and they both sold out! It was another amazing experience!!! Yes, it was during covid, it was 2020 late summer... that's why they, and many other artists, at the time, did Tiny Desk "Home" Concert, as it showed in the title/intro screen at the beginning of the video. There were many that did Tiny Desk at home, like Billie Eilish did too. That's why the talk after Dynamite, they said the song is meant to be cheerful to lift up people's spirits.
Lol I think a lot of us feel like that about spring day. Anyone who has ever dearly missed someone, either because you can't see them or because they passed away would feel that way I think. There's a lot of emotions that Spring Day brings. Really good for sentimental or lonely days, but there are days when you don't want to feel those emotions and I think that's natural 💜
You asked about their recents concerts, they had the Permission to Dance "Tour" that it's mostly the US and Korea, it ended in April of 2022 in Las Vegas!! They had a concert in LA at the end of 2021, 4 shows 2 at the end of November and 2 in the beginning of December!! They also had a concert in Busan (a city in Korea) for free on October of last year, it was for the Busan Expo i think to promote or something, but it was their last concert and now only in 2025 as a whole group again since they are going to serve the military (and Jin already went as i think you know) Btw, if you have Disney+ you can watch their LA concert there, it's the second day, i totally recommend you do if you can!! For some people who don't know much about Kpop and the "genre".......It's about combining & blending many different genres and doing it all. Talented bands like BTS and Big Bang, EXO, etc combine R&B, Rock, EDM, Ballads, Pop, Rap, and blend it together in many instances or perform it separately. The common denominator being, performance of all genres with crazy dance chores. This is KPop.
